These guys were great! Needed my 01 Miata smogged to register. The sensore weren't ready so they told me to drive it 200 or so miles. I did and came nack after 2 weeks. Still not ready and Jay(hope i got your name right!) tells me to research the specific way to clear the one sensor that wasn't ready. I did and came back, they checked it, and all sensors were ready. I haven't had to do a smog check in YEARS, so I instantly dreaded and resented the DMV for making me do it. After looking on Yelp for a nearby service station, I discovered this spot. There were so many that were closer, but they seemed shady and the price didn't make sense. I arrived here, and the staff instantly knew who I was because I called them 20 minutes prior to showing up. The nice lady who runs the shop was very friendly and warm, receptive to my needs, and just awesome. She's the adopted mom I never had. The service bay employee who performed the test was awesome too. Easy to deal with. He took my car, plugged it in, and then it passed. Back in the old days, or for older cars, they use the test with the dynamometer, but since my car was a 2015, it wasn't even needed. Minutes! MINUTES I SAY! Let me just say that Jay is the man! I'm not sure why I never came here before but I'm glad I did and I will be coming back for ever I rolled in and there was a few cars ahead of me. Jay greeted me right away. I then gave him my paperwork turned around and he said "ok your next" What? That was fast! I proceeded to wait in the lobby and I did not sit long enough to get comfortable because my car was done in minutes. I was shocked at the fast service. I've never been to a smog check and was In and Out in less than 10 minutes. This was the most inexpensive smog I have ever gotten. When you print out the coupon for $38.75, you get charged the $8.75 certificate fee even though it's useless. You don't need the certificate because all CA smog check stations are required to electronically transfer results to the DMV. It doesn't matter, they charge you anyhow. If you have a newer truck, be prepared to pay an additional $8. For what? They don't hook anything up to a modern diesel. Just look (visually) at the onboard display for errors and that's it! You pay $55.50, NO Bueno! RE: OWNERS RESPONSE. The response is mostly BS. Again, the CA DMV DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO PURCHASE OR OBTAIN IN ANY WAY, THE $8.75 SMOG CERTIFICATE TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS. As for my newer truck. The tech simply looks at the onboard display to check for errors. That's it! NO plugging in, no using any tools whatsoever. While I understand that you have to pay your overhead. I just don't think it's right to mislead people into paying an additional and completely unnecessary fee. Especially when that customer is presenting a coupon. read more

Fast and friendly. Went on a Sunday and there was one attendant. Luckily it didn't get busy. He was very kind and pointed out that I needed coolant ASAP.
