Someone (I don't want to disclose his name) from the company called me last week, I spoke with him and set up a day for an estimator to come to my mom's apartment (the job is for my mom, she wants to install a split A/C in her apartment), that person said the estimator can meet my mom on 9/3/19 Tuesday at 1pm. On that day my mom waited until 2pm but no one came, she called me and said she is very hungry, she must go out to eat lunch, so I said ok, just go. I then called C S Mechanical and spoke with the same person, he said he will check and call me back, when he called back, he said they were busy and have forgot about the appointment, he said the estimator can come to my mom's apartment in an hour, I told him my mom is an 85 yrs old lady, she waited until 2pm without lunch is really hard for her, now she is going out for lunch, and she need to take the bus, might not be home until 4pm. I asked if his staff can come at 4pm and he said cannot, he asked to reschedule to 9/4/19 but I said my mom has something on that day, I asked how about 9/5/19? He said he need to check with his boss, after that he never called back. I called and left messages to him, but no reply. What kind of service attitude is this? Reid and his crew did a great job installing the 18000btu Mitsubishi split AC unit. I chose him over other bidders because he gave me a detailed description of the installation work when he came to do the estimate. The outdoor unit was installed on the roof. He went over the piping and drainage so I understood the work involved. Part of the job was also to dismantle the old package unit and dispose of it. We have had them replace an old 11 year old Mitsubishi at my house, another for my in-laws and recently came to do a free assessment of a unit that wasn't running cold anymore. They came the next day and correctly diagnosed that we just had a dirty unit. Came a few days after that and cleaned our unit in 1.5 hours. The unit is now running very cold and we are very happy with the service. Since I had my Mitsubishi Mr. Slim units installed in my home, by a different A/C company, I did my own detailed cleaning of the units. After removing and washing the cover, filters, vertical/horizontal vanes, blower wheel, HEPA vacuuming the coils, etc., I began to have an allergic reaction, while the units were turned back on for use. I needed a professional to remedy the problem, as the problem was deep inside the coils. They performed a deep detailed cleaning. These guys responded quickly and remedied the problem after several occasions. Use this company for ALL of your A/C needs. You won't be disappointed! C S Mechanical is the most responsive, fair and professional AC installers you could ask for. I did a Yelp query blast to a bunch of AC installers, 3 answered immediately. Ultimately it came down to 2 installers who had great Yelp ratings but C S Mechanical came in significantly under the other. More importantly, they came in with several options to suit my cooling needs at a range of prices that fit my budget. I ended up choosing a Mitsubishi Standard unit with the higher SEER. The cost of this unit was a bit higher but the difference was easily amortized over the life of the unit since HECO rates are so high! The installation date was set only 2 days after my query and then the date was for the very Friday of that week! You couldn't ask for speedier service. Like the other reviews on Yelp have stated, the crew - RJ and Kaleo - was very professional, courteous, and cheerful. They walked me through the remote control, the cleaning of each unit of the split air, and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Excellent company to work with. Over the last few months, I noticed my bedroom Fujitsu split a/c not putting out cold air well. I scheduled a cleaning on 6/26/17 and found out that it had a leak. Since it's past warranty and over 7 years old, it wasn't worth the cost to repair. The technician said his company (not CS Mechanical) would take 2 weeks for an estimate on a new unit and 2 months to get it. I checked Yelp the next day and found C S Mechanical with great reviews. I called them at lunch and they came over at 3 p.m. that day! Other companies didn't call me back that day. Reid was friendly and professional. He assessed the situation (10 minutes) and said they could schedule a Mitsubishi split a/c at a good price ($200 off) the NEXT DAY at 10:30 am. I booked it and the technicians (3 of them) were terrific. Courteous, polite and efficient. They removed the old unit and installed the new one (great cleanup) in a little over 2 1/2 hours. The lead installer then asked if I was interested in a Silicon board for $150. This will gecko proof the system. My sister had two Mitsubishi splits (1 year old) short circuited by geckos the previous week. I said, excellent idea, let's do it. This took a little over an hour. The new AC worked out great! I'm thankful that Reid and his crew responded so quickly at the peak of summer when other companies are booked solid. Reid and his crew did a top notch job on the install. We had two 36,000 btu split zone units with 6 heads (6 rooms) installed. 4 bedrooms , 2 larger units in living room and kitchen dining area. I was worried it wouldn't totally cool the entire house because we have high ceilings and jealousy windows. We live in a rental and the owners gave us the number of this company, in order to get the units serviced. We dealt mostly with Bryan but did meet Reid the day of the service. This company is very professional and worked hard to satisfy us, from the day that we called until the day that the work was finished. It doesn't appear that our unit has ever been serviced. Not only was it a disgusting mess, but it was dripping dark fluid and random black pieces all over the bedding. This was not a problem for these guys! They did what they could to bring it back to a state of clean working order!! I was a total skeptic! I thought there was no way that this old unit could be serviced and cleaned up the way that it was. But that's exactly what Bryan did! Reid, CS Mechanical, is outstanding in every way. We found Reid on Yelp and we chose them out of 8 companies we've interviewed. Reid is knowledgeable, professional and considerate. Not only the price was reasonable and he was able to recommend an A/C system that suited our needs, saving us money and troubles. We were confused about choices among different systems (central, split, etc.), brands (Mitubishi, Fujitus, etc.) and he was very patient in explaining the differences in prices and performance/features and what would work for our house. The good thing about Reid is that he can get any brand and the brands' best warranties (because he got training with all of major brands) unlike other companies who do only one brand. As a result, he can be honest in his recommendation. We ended up getting 7 Fujitsu ceiling cassette units with 2 condensers outside. Each cassette can be remote-controlled individually. We are so happy with the results. The installation was not straightforward due to challenges in our ceiling but all worked out efficiently. They did not make a big deal about these challenges (so to charge us more). Everyone in CS Mechanical we met were friendly, hard-working, professional and went the extra mile. For instance, they were very careful protecting our floors. They covered our cassettes with plastic sheets, tapes, etc., without us asking, because the house was still under construction.
