I've gotten the ribeye each time we've came and even though it's pricey ($74) it's well worth it. We've been coming about 4 or 6 years now. GF had the filet and side ceasar salad. I sent them an email through their website and called twice to speak to a manager regarding this issue and no one bothered to reach back out to me. If heaven had a tasting room, it would look exactly like Crush Wines -- only heaven probably…read moredoesn't have $5 mimosas or a $12.99 wine table right by the door that makes you feel like you just stumbled into a treasure chest for adults. From the moment you walk in, Tonya, Lisa, and Suzanne treat you like an old friend who happens to have great taste. Need a wine to pair with dinner, impress a date, or survive your in-laws? They somehow read your soul and hand you the perfect bottle. Seriously, Suzanne's wine knowledge borders on psychic. She'll hand you something that tastes like it should cost $100, and then tell you it's under $20. You'll double-check the label just to make sure you heard her right. The place is spotless--like, "you could perform surgery on the countertop" clean--and the back patio has a stunning water view that pairs perfectly with a glass (or three). The bacon-wrapped dates? Little bites of heaven. The pizza? So authentic it makes you start planning a trip to Italy... or at least a return trip here next weekend. Whether you're planning a date night, a social hangout, or just grabbing a bottle for dinner at home, Crush Wines nails it. Funny thing is, you'll come for the wine, but you'll stay for the vibe--and probably leave with a new favorite bottle, a full belly, and the urge to hug Suzanne for being a wine wizard.

My Wife and I have been visiting Cosmo's for many years. It's always been a place you can go to and…read morefeel comfortable. It can be hit or miss depending on what you order however, we have been enough to know and share with others what to order and what to stay away from. The following is from our most recent visit. We began the meal with a Cosmo and a Fairhope Brewery Blue Steel Sour. Both were very good. The Blue Steel sour has notes of blueberry. For an appetizer we ordered the cheese dip. It consist of three cheeses, including Gruyere, which is one of our favorites. The cheese also comes with feta cheese and a tomato relish over the top, which we find very good. It makes the cheese dip a little different than others. The tomatoes are very soft and the relish is on the sweeter side. My Wife got the chicken roulade. It was okay. The chicken was good however, it is wrapped in bacon and flash fried. In our opinion the flash fry isn't needed and it adds the risk of the bacon being overdone or burnt, which is what happened. The Parmesan risotto was a little gummy but had good flavor. The cream sauce that accompanied the dish was probably the best part. I got the fish sandwich and upgraded from sheepshead to grouper. You can get it fried, blackened or grilled. I chose grilled and it was really good. It was not the first time I have gotten the fish sandwich. The bun is a sourdough/Hawaiian roll hybrid. I got an order of fries to go with the fish sandwich. Their fries are really really. They're slightly battered and crunchy. Very good with ketchup or tartar sauce or both! If you visit I would suggest sticking to the fish sandwich, burger or fish dish (grilled/blackened) that comes with a cream based sauce. Their drinks and beer is selection really good as well. Most of the time on weekends they have live music if that's your kind of thing.
