From the outside, you can't really see in because the windows are covered with advertisements, but once you step inside it has a trendy, updated look. Checking in wasn't the warmest experience, the front desk staff came across a bit cold, didn't offer me a beverage, or give me much direction other than, "Pick your color." I sat a little past my appointment time without much reassurance that someone would be with me soon. Thankfully, my nail tech, Emma, completely turned the experience around. She was kind, gentle, and professional. I had been putting off a pedicure for far too long, and she never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable about it. She wasn't rough, carried a nice balance of conversation without being overwhelming, and just made the whole appointment enjoyable. I absolutely adored her and she's the reason I'll keep coming back. The pedicure itself was great, I opted for the Lux Three pedicure, which included some pretty unique features! There was chairs that massage your back and even your bottom, plus hand massagers and steamers. At $68 which included a $20 tip, I still felt like I got solid value, especially compared to other places where I'd pay close to $100 for the same level of service. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. The massage chairs and some of the equipment seemed pretty rundown. I also noticed long black hairs on the floor and small details around the décor that felt unfinished or not well maintained. These things definitely took away from the overall polished look they seemed to be going for. In short: Emma made the experience worth it, and I'll return because of her. But the salon overall could benefit from stronger customer service at the front desk and a little more attention to cleanliness and upkeep.

Throughout the appointment I noticed a few people tried to come in as walk-ins but they were unable to accommodate them due to every employee having a client and trying to make sure all appointments were seen on time. So maybe call ahead and see if there's availability if you are thinking about walking in because summer months can be so busy at random times. (As someone who makes appointments and also sometimes is a walk in, I appreciate that they didn't try to overbook so it wouldn't overlap with appointments. The overall salon is pretty and relaxing. The music isn't loud and they have tvs playing on mute so you can watch something too. The overall vibe was very good. I wish I got the name of the employee who did my nails because she did such an amazing job. She had amazing attention to detail and was so meticulous. She also made sure I liked my nails throughout the steps like shape and color. I'm extremely happy with how my nails turned out and hope I can return in the future because these are genuinely my favorite nails I've ever had done. The prices are very reasonable and all the other employees seemed very nice as well. I truly had a great experience and would recommend this place to my family and friends.

They kept trying to get me to get additional add on as well. They had one tech do my feet and at the same time another did my hands. I will say that was convenient, but felt a little cramped. No chip lasted about a week before first chip and then a few days longer for the rest. They have plenty of signs stating they accept credit cards and list Amex, discover, visa, and Mastercard. However, when I went to pay with Amex I was told they do not accept. I did have a visa on me so was able to pay with that. They do charge a 3% service charge for cards and prefer tips in cash. I did have cash for tip. On my second visit, I just had a no chip manicure. Service was friendly. They do have books with organized colors, but other guests had them so I just looked at the bottle colors themselves. I did bring cash to save the surcharge. They have plenty of color choices for regular, no chip, and dip colors.

I bring kids in there and the kids leave scared because their nail techs were mean to them. Today I was in there today and accidentally dropped a nail polish bottles and it shattered. They were livid and the lady kept asking ME to clean it up. I not only work there but when owning a business they should expect to clean up an accident. They also made me pay for that half empty bottle of nail polish. They were THAT hard up for 15$. I would have left if I didn't have kids with me. What they use to remove the dead skin from the bottom of the feet is like the sand paper thing that you buy from target that doesn't actually do anything . Their pedis are basically a nail polish change . Also their pedicures and manicures last 1-2 days if that. There are such better nail salons in hinsdale to go to just shop around! Avoid at all costs

The best technicians for dipping powder are Lucy and Mimi. In my opinion, Cindy does not do as good of a service. Their pedicures seem like top notch. And you get what you pay for: if you upgrade to a more expensive pedicure, they really spend a lot of quality time on your feet. But even with the classic pedicure, I feel like they take their time with the massaging and clean up of my toes. Although the place is not very large, that's kind of what I like about it. I don't feel rushed and I feel like they know me well enough to know how to service my nails nicely. I will state, I'm not a super picky person. If you're looking for a specific rare color, a weird design, etc this may not be your place. But that's fine with me because I like it better when it's slow and I can do a walk in. LBVS.
