It is elegant, luxurious with a Gatsby style charm. They only cater one wedding at a time in this huge space. Wedding ceremony was at 7:00 pm. Cocktail hours (open bar) from 7:30-8:30 pm with raw bar, meat carving stations, pasta, cocktail shrimps and so much food. I was pretty full from the hors d'oeuvres. 8:30-12:30 am was dinner and dancing! Bruschetta and Prosciutto for appetizer and fish or steak for dinner. I'll be honest that I can't remember what it taste like because I was busy at the open bar and the dance floor. I remembered that it was good. Needless to say - I had the most fabulous time. It was an awesome wedding. Exceptional service and venue!

The staff was also very attentive and amazing. Only one staff member was not so good. The old blonde woman that was bartending caught an attitude with me and my family member. I went up to order a drink and she made me show her ID which i didn't mind but later on when my boyfriend who has a beard and everything went to go get a drink for me and himself she told him he can't get two drinks and accused us of underage drinking. We're both born in the 90s by the way and showed her our IDs. I ordered a drink and my aunt came up and also ordered a drink and my aunt didn't tip her so she slammed the drink down and yelled next. I found that very rude. I also didn't have any singles i only had a $10 bill so i planned to tip after my second drink but her attitude made me go to the other bartender who was a man with curly hair. He was very nice and gave no issues the entire night. That woman should retire if she is so unhappy with her job.

The first Touch of Class party I attended in 1999 was at a Sachs 5h Ave in Huntington, LI, where the founder Sherry Schweitzer was donating catering to the 1 in 9 Foundation. The drinks were plentiful and H'orderves were in abundance and original. A Touch of Class also hosted an event for our local banking association for an annual party, and it was the best we have had, with a gambling theme that brought out the fun in the entire crowd. Will look for photos of me with the host, will post more when I find them. In the know on the top city venues to Long Island and even a few upstate Mansions they can book a location, provide invitations, themes, decor, flowers, catering, music and photography for any event. They have 20 +years of experience regionally and book the best of the best when needed, and can book best within someone's budget as well. A Touch of Class is a preferred vendor with various Long Island venues. I recommend Sherry for her pleasant demeanor, calm under pressure, and experience overall. I have known her since 1992 when we worked in the same building in Woodbury where their first store was, they are now in Syosset since 2000. A Touch of Class can also be called for simple summer parties and things such as kids inflatable slides, carnival type food stands and birthday entertainment also.

From the…read moremoment we boarded to the end of the night when we got safely dropped back home, the party didn't stop. The driver was friendly and accommodating, and the inside of the bus was decorated so nicely. There was comfy seating and really cute photo op walls perfect for all the photos we were taking!! We were also able to control or request the music we wanted to hear, and the speakers within the bus did not disappoint! First we were driven to a brewery and the bus waited for us until we were done. The drive to the brewery got the party started - champagne was passed out and the music was pumping. Then when we were ready we wakes right outside the brewery and the bus was ready to scoop us, they also took as many photos of us as we wanted inside and outside of the bus. The ride home was another party in itself - lots of dancing, laughs and great times. I can't wait to gather my girls and hit up some wineries this summer!!
