The bounce house was delivered the day before and we were given explicit instructions for setting it up the next day. The guys setting it up were great. They also said there wasn't much gas and not to turn it on until right before the party. The day of the party, I called, concerned that there wasn't enough gas for the whole party. I was told not to turn it on until 30 minutes before the party started. We did as instructed and the bounce house would not blow up. Further, the blowers kept tripping the breaker on the generator. I called the company and they said someone could come out to look at it in two hours (at 4 pm), the party was slated to end at 4:30. I had a group of four year olds standing around at my daughter's birthday party. My daughter was crying. My stepdad missed the entire first hour of the party trying everything to get the house to blow up. Finally, halfway through the party, my stepdad was able to rig one blower to an outlet that allowed it to blow up. The house still looked fairly deflated and we were incredibly nervous about whether or not it was safe for kids to use. A representative of the company showed up a few minutes later, and said it looked fine and left. He offered to fix it but it was too late at that point, the party was about over, and there was no point. I also found it alarming that they were completely fine with a novice (my stepdad) rigging a solution without any form of inspection or oversight. We called to ask for a partial refund as we were unable to even use the bounce house for 75% of the party, and the other half of the party was spent worrying about the fact that only one blower worked. We were not only told no, we were told WE were wrong for still having someone come out to check on the safety of the bounce house when it was still clearly functioning incorrectly! When we started our wedding process, we had so much anxiety around how we wanted our day to look. We started with just white flowers and some greenery. We had our first appointment with Sonja and right off the bat we vibed with her. She was so patient in trying to understand how we wanted our day to look while also helping us in checking some other things off our list. We left that appointment feeling super connected and trusted her with making our day perfect. We hit that point that I think every couple does, Oh shit I don't know if thats what we actually want! We made another appointment with Sonja, she will do ANYTHING to accommodate you within reason, and we workshopped for almost 3 hours. We left that appointment JAZZED about how our day would look now that we got over the "no color" hump. Cut too our wedding day. When I tell you our day looked like a dream because of Sonja I don't say this lightly. She met us at our hotel with floral we needed for photos, she arrived at the venue early, and made sure everything was perfect. When Joe and I walked into our reception space we nearly passed out. We were moved to tears and I couldn't believe how absolutely PERFECT Sonja made our day. Our guests kept saying our wedding was elegant, classy, not overdone and the word magical kept coming up. The check-in area was very crowded due to the many birthday parties, and the long line was also confusing. At first, a staff member approached us and asked if we had completed the waiver. By the time we finished it, the line looked even more confusing. I had to stop another staff member to clarify whether we were in the right line. It turned out we weren't. The front desk staff responsible for check-in seemed overwhelmed and stepped away twice, so it was a little chaotic just trying to get in. The rest was fun, though. They have a spacious seating area for adults, and overall it felt pretty safe for kids.
