I haven't been to Monster Mini Golf in quite some time, so I decided it would be a fun place to introduce my kids to mini golf, especially with the whole glow in the dark theme. The place honestly hasn't changed all that much over the years, but it still looks really good. You can tell they do ongoing maintenance because it doesn't have that run down feeling that some mini golf places can get. My kids absolutely loved it. Mini golf can be a little boring for younger kids, but the glow lights, statues, and different obstacles made the whole experience much more interesting for them. They were having a great time and definitely want to go back. The course could use a little more variety, though. Some of the holes are pretty straightforward, and I think adding a few trickier obstacles or making each hole a little more unique would make it even better. That said, it was a great beginner experience for my kids and a good way to get them interested in mini golf. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and even the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. We also spent some time in the arcade, and the kids really enjoyed that too. The games are probably a little expensive per play compared to some other arcades, but everything was working, clean, and the games and machines seemed pretty up to date. We used a Groupon, which helped save some money. I did notice there were actually some better deals advertised on the Monster Mini Golf website if you use a promo code, but unfortunately we tried multiple times and couldn't get the code to work. Overall, we had a really good time. It's not the most challenging mini golf course out there, but for younger kids, the theme and atmosphere make it a lot more fun than a basic course. This place was a blast! I took my little cousins as well as my adult cousins here and we all had a good time. They have a large arcade and a decently sized mini golf course. I came here with a Groupon so I was able to get a $5 game card as well. They have some fun games in the arcade and a decent variety, including a laser race. My main complaint would be the mini golf course. I loved how elaborate the course was, but part of it was nonsensical. Parts of the course were designed a little bit strange as some stretches were poorly accessed. Either way, the decor of the course, as well as the vibes, were awesome. We just had my Sons Birthday party here and we were so happy with everything! The mini golf, arcade games, the party room, it was all perfect for us. My Son and most of the kids at the party were all autistic and the staff were all so great, patient and understanding. The staff set up for us, kept the pace of the party moving and paid attention to small details that made a difference. They also did things that made him feel special on his big day, like announcing his birthday so everyone heard it. Came here recently on a rainy day with my niece and nephew...we had a blast! I wanted to take them to an outdoor mini-golf but weather wasn't cooperating with us. The outside is basically a warehouse and you'd never know this gem is hidden inside. Once inside, the entire place is lit with black lights which gives a really cool effect. It's got a spooky vibe which is really cool for Halloween time. There's tons of video games on one side, mini golf on the other side. It was slightly pricey - about $45 for 2 adults and 2 kids so I wouldn't go here all the time but it's a great alternative to an outdoor mini-golf. We came here last Saturday for my sons 13th bday . We had an absolutely blast . A round of golf per person was super cheap and fun. The whole area was glow in the dark which was great ... then we got him 2 rounds of the VR which once's again was cheap $5 for 5 min of fun . He loved it and I truly liked the fact they had these sanitary pads you put on your face before you put the VR head set on .. then we played arcades and also did this giant room that had like light beams across and your goal was to get to the other side with out breaking a beam . It was a lot of fun ... we all had a great time and spent a couple of hours there and didn't break the bank . I would recommend this place to anyone , couples, family or friends there is something for everyone. read more

We had a great time playing a quick game of mini golf and playing games in the arcade! Monster Mini Golf has a combo for $20 which includes a round of mini golf and a $10 arcade card. Some of the fancier VR games in the arcade are $3 - $5 each whereas the classic whack-a-mole, racing games, and skee ball were $1 - $2 each. The $10 arcade card for our little guys was more than enough for their attention spans to play a few games before we left. There weren't a ton of games, so older kids might not be as thrilled with this arcade selection for too long. The mini golf was fun to play with the monster decor and glow in the dark features and fun music. Many of the holes seemed impossible to get a hole in one because of the set up, so we just played for fun rather than a score. We came with a group of kids to do mini golf but were forced to wait almost 30 minutes despite it being fairly empty! and we were going to split into 3 small groups, so minus 2 stars for that. It was obviously to get us to spend money on the arcades and stuff. I didn't appreciate that and will probably not come with a large group ever again. Regarding the course, it's cool that it's glow in the dark but it's TOO dark. You can't really appreciate the monsters and design of each course. I've been here a few times in the past when it was worth 4/5 stars but it's definitely gone downhill a bit.. they need to keep up with the maintenance on their facility. This place used to be over the top but now it's just "eh" and a way to kill an hour or two. To the owner/management: maybe turn the regular lights on every once in a while at the end of the night to make sure your animatronics are in proper, working, order, not broken & other props obviously missing parts (I mean, PVC pipes showing where an arm clearly used to be, cmon, really?). While you're at it, you should probably clean up the place.. the gum stuck to the floor in the course really inhibits a hood game of mini-golf. +2 stars for a great throwback playlist & the potential for a comeback story if you can bring the course back to its prime (not broken). Best place to hold a children's birthday party or event! They have mini-golf under black lights so everything looks fun. Just being in there is an event. There are also games with chucky-cheese style tickets that you can redeem for prizes. I went here for a Yelp Event, as an adult, and totally loved it! Also would make a great date place. I've been here a few times and each visit is very enjoyable. Staff was very helpful and friendly which eased my nerves as I was a bit hesitant to go given the current circumstances. However, the establishment is well equipped with ample sanitizer and requires masks. It's also easy to be socially distant given the space of the holes. Staff is friendly, but inexperienced; they lack adherence to group limits, and with COVID, they don't make it a point to let people 'play through,' nor do they monitor the speed of play on their course. Their arcade has a decent selection but I'd say just focus on the mini golf portion. They do have this laser room for kids, about $3 a min, which they can enjoy. Has some fun putts. If you're looking for crazy tipsy turvy obstacles, this doesn't really have it, but the atmosphere is fun, has little challenges to make it more fun, and the ambiance is spooky/horror based. This place is a blast! My only concern is it can be a sensory overload, but with sound-reduction earmuffs it's an easy fix! The classic arcade games are always fun, and the dark lighting in the building adds a fitting and unique ambiance. The golfing itself is of course great, and whether you're comically bad at it like I am or great at golfing like the friends I go with, you're in for laughs and excitement. I really love all the work that goes into the decor too; the decorations themselves and the paintings are all so meticulous and cool! The people behind the counter are always really nice. I wish I could have my birthday party there; the room they have for it is as fun as the rest of the establishment! I live a good half hour away but am lucky to have friends who live in Deer Park. Childhood fairytale artwork adorns the walls, featuring scary twists on scenes from stories like Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs, and more. Some of the games offer redemption tickets to exchange for prizes. The arcade machine selection is not as expansive as D&B, but a decent assortment for sure. There are also two private party rooms available which can be opened up into a single area for larger parties. Monster Golf has captured a fun concept and would be a great place to host your child's birthday party. I wish they had places like this when I was growing up. Came for a Yelp elite event last night and it was fun. Definitely a little hard to find but definitely worth finding. We all had a lot of laughs on the course. Another big plus is this place is indoors. Had it been outside we would've froze. They were also kind enough to gave us game cards but a few of the games were either rebooting or froze up. I think Monster Mini Golf needs better signage & also maybe get rid of the games and focus on more mini golf. The course was like I said a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Thanks for having us! Its awesome that Monster Mini golf had a Yelp Elite event because otherwise I most likely would have never visited, which is crazy because I work right around the corner and barely knew it was there. Its an indoor 18 hole mini golf course that has the theme of monsters but shouldn't be too much to take little kids there. Its all in black lights and the walls and balls glow in the dark as well as most of the decor. There is a small arcade where you can not only use ticket to win prices but apparently if prize is just out of your ticket reach, you can also pay cash. Two party rooms for rental, which for the Yelp event the venue let us drink beer but I don't know if you can do that during normal rentals. I did enjoy my time playing golf. My only 2 criticisms of the place is 1. Advertise more!!! I only knew where you were because I go to Citibank next store everyday for work. Almost everyone else that I hear at the Yelp event couldn't find the place because the is only one sign. You have to go behind a bank and a Sleepy's to find the entrance and it looks shady. Personally, I think Monster Mini Golf and the zombie lazer tag a few buildings over should work together. 2. I was golfing when there wasn't a lot of people on the course but I had trouble finding a place to stand on the course when my husband was golfing after me. Went here during the pandemic and it was a very fun safe way to have some enjoyment. The place was very clean. Hand sanitizing stations every where and they make you sanitize your hands before playing golf which I liked because it was the right precautions to have fun while being safe. There is also an arcade along with the golf course which was a big plus. I would recommend this place especially if you've been stuck inside for the pandemic and need to get out and live life. Love, love, love it here! The setup of the entire space is simple, but it gets the job done- and that job is fun. Finding the entrance can be tricky, my dad drove right past it at first. But as Jimmy M. said- look for the Procida Tile sign and head towards the back of the building. The doors are painted white and you won't see windows- but just go right in. Don't waste your time standing outside and scratching your head like me. Once inside, it was a bit confusing at first where to go. The prize redemption counter is situated before the main desk. So head a bit further back to pay for mini golf. I ADORE that upon payment, you get a free glow bracelet. It's little things like that that send me over the moon. Clearly the managers/owners want people to have a good time. I arrived around 1 PM on a Sunday, so it was not too busy/crowded at first. About halfway through the game more people showed up. The only downfall to that was when the people behind us were either hole in oners, or they were rushing through, which led to them awkwardly staring at us while we played. Once we got to the last hole, I saw that they had a staff member at the entrance of the min golf area, staggering the families going through. The game play itself is really fun! You can't beat black lights with a spooky theme. Little ones should be fine as the worst thing to happen was the box at the beginning (don't want to spoil it!) Everything else is stationary. The music was a great selection that had me and my family singing and dancing along. The arcade area was also super fun. Most games were surprisingly cheap and it was pretty easy to win a lot of tickets. Food is not something you'll find here, so definitely eat before you go. There's a snack, drink, and ice cream vending machine for a quick fix. Oh and there's a massage chair. Perfect for the parent who doesn't want to play, but still wants to chill. I can't say the experience was bad, it was just boring. The atmosphere is great, the art is fun, but the mini golf is lacking. There is very little variety to the different holes. Most of the holes are just rebounding off the wall and some decorations. It's a small space. I would say this mini golf is probably best for children under 9 or 10. The 11 year old I brought was bored at this course. The arcade is ok, but the games are old and expensive, $1-$3 is the average game. We had a $10 game card and ended up with about 100 tickets. He got a pencil and a mini eraser, he was not pleased with the junk prizes. We played the laser game and it didn't even work properly. It was also small and disappointing. The picture make it look amazing, big let down. On a positive note it's clean and there are hand sanitizers to use. There was absolutely no smell which is sometimes the case in arcades. read more

I went there one afternoon with my husband and (18 year old) daughter because we were looking for something new to do. We waited about 20 minutes to start, but it was actually a good thing that we had to wait because the business staggers players so you're not on top of other groups at each hole. Also, it gave us time to play a few games at the arcade (one of which was actually a pinball machine because MMG caters to parents as well as kids). Of course, the real attraction is the black light atmosphere, which is pretty awesome. They give out bracelets to each player that react to the black light in case you're not wearing white or anything else reactive, and that's a nice little touch as well. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is that there's no food counter. I'm not sure if there's a vending machine or not. read more

They go in hard here with the black lights (as in hard-core, not hard UV, no skin cancer, thanks!) It seemed we showed up on couples Tuesday?? We got in BOGO, more or less (full price for one, $1 for the other). It's possible they thought we were awesome & threw us a deal (or thought we were sad & took pity on us) Nice job with the UV paint, the murals are cool but also really well done. As an amateur artist (read: sucks), I admire a nice mural, and someone is a pro. Five stars for this place would be if the holes were less simple. That said, if there were more obstacles, you couldn't see anything! Wife & I had a lot of fun, but not sure there's a lot of replay value here.
