On our last visit the staff members were phenomenal. My son was interacting with so many of them and they all were so kind to him. Especially the young lady at the haunted house ride. The park has that nostalgic charm with bright colors, classic rides, and just the right amount of thrill. What I loved most was how easy everything felt, we just loaded up on Adventure Bucks and used them all over the park for food, games, and treats. We took breaks in the arcade, cooled off on a water ride, and ended the day with a churro and tons of happy photos. Adventureland is super clean, family-friendly, and just the right size to explore in one day without feeling rushed. It was one of those simple, joyful days I'll remember for a long time! And here we are, at Splish Splash, a place I took a road trip too when I lived in Queens. Then it seemed like it was across many states. It's funny how you perceive things as a kid versus as a grown up. Now this place is no more than 30min from my parents, but I still haven't been here since becoming an adult and I'm glad we did. The place has changed so much. Better layout. More family friendly. We rented one of the luxury cabanas for the entire day. It cost $1200 and allows 32 people, but holds 40. You have to buy additional wristbands at $20 a wristband. You also still need to buy tickets. The sales office was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions and we got the group rate for our day at the park. As much fun as we had, and as great as the space was, which we plan on doing again, there needs to be more support in the Cabana areas. At one point security asked one of my guest if they should be there, and when they showed them their wristband they continued to follow up with the cabana staff, meanwhile, people kept coming into our cabana trying to use the area for themselves. Where was security then? The food and drink service also lacked. We were instructed to order off the QR code which were on signs throughout the cabana, but half of them didn't work. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food and some people didn't get their drinks. Once I expressed how long we waited, and how we felt overlooked the staff gave us a few additional canned margaritas. By this time it was late afternoon. Most of had to leave because the kids were exhausted. Moral of the story: this place has had a major glow up, I'm hoping that the staff and service follow suit as they continue to grow. This is a piece of nostalgia on Long Island and I would hate to see it go away anytime soon.

The reason why I took off one star is because not only do you have to pay for entry into the park, but you also have to pay for parking, which is another $30 so altogether it was $60 + tax.

The front desk staff responsible for check-in seemed overwhelmed and stepped away twice, so it was a little chaotic just trying to get in. The rest was fun, though. It's a cute spot for younger kids as there's two little bounce houses and plenty of toys up front. There was also a hoop in the back for older kids but I would still say this facility is more for younger kids like 5 years old and under. There were kid sized tables as well as adult sized tables in the front which was nice so you could sit if you wanted. There were also benches by the bounce houses which the adults utilized. I'm assuming this setup is just for parties and not for open play/classes. The two hosts for the party who I'm assuming we're the owners were very friendly and approachable. The kids and adults both had pizza and the drink options were apple juice and sodas. I know there was a bathroom in the back which I did not utilize. At the end of the party, there was a little play dough type St. Patrick's theme goody bag (which my toddler loved) and water bottle given out. All of the kids at the party looked like they had a great time. Mine was very upset when the party was over and time to go home. The price was the best I have found in Suffolk county 2 hours for 10 kids and they shut the place down to the public which is huge for me because I have two kids under 5 and it's just safer not having outsiders there. The adults felt like they could relax because the place is big but not so big that you can let your kid go wild on the bounce houses without being right there you can see them. Great value for money, wonderful staff that's caring and everything came together easily. You can have a great party and not stress about anything. Just show up. Highly recommended.
