My two-year-old son and I have visited this location dozens of times over the past year without a single issue. On this visit, we also happened to be the only Black family present. What happened afterward was shocking, unprofessional, and felt unmistakably discriminatory. Later that day, I received a call from someone identifying herself as the owner/manager. She claimed that it had been "reported" that my recently turned two-year-old son had: * "Shaken" a one-year-old girl * Then supposedly been "violent" toward multiple children * And later--somehow--"choked" the same child These accusations all came in a single phone call and kept changing as she spoke. Not one version was consistent with the last, and none of them matched anything that occurred during our visit. When I calmly asked her to check security footage, she said she would but immediately followed it with, "The video may not have caught anything," despite openly admitting she hadn't reviewed it. To this day, I have received zero follow-up or confirmation that any video was checked at all. I later spoke with the front-desk employee who was there during our visit. He confirmed that: * No parent voiced any complaint about my son * He personally witnessed nothing concerning * The owner/manager was not even present at the time This brings up extremely concerning questions: * How did the owner know to single out my child when no complaint was made? * Why was I immediately presumed guilty with no evidence? * Why did the supposed reporting parents never speak to me directly, which is standard in children's play spaces? * Why did the claims escalate from shaking, to multiple children, to choking--a sequence that simply does not align with a newly two-year-old's behavior or my son's history? My son has never harmed another child, and our long history at this business reflects that.

With it getting a bit cooler we decided to give it a shot instead of them running around the water slide in her backyard. I was apprehensive being that school is still not in session, but it wasn't chaotic at all. It's 20 dollars for the day. You can leave and come back, as long as you grab a wristband for your kid before leaving. Gripping socks are a must, and I get why. Everything was super clean, and I just felt so comfortable letting Bubs go from section to section. Being on top of the bowling alley, this give kids and family extra time together (or separate if the kids go play by themselves while the parents bowl, which seems to be the case here). There are a great deal of inflatable bounce houses and one giant obstacle course, a ropes tower with a slide, rock wall, some arcade games, and a few birthday party rooms. For two kids to play for 1 1/2 hours was $24 total. Seemed like a pretty good deal considering there's no other place quite like this and it keeps the kids active and happy. It is dingy and there are quite a few broken arcade games that they just decide that they're never going to fix (I've been here a few times). You pay 25-50 cents per game or a dollar to play air hockey, basketball, or a motorcycle game. There are no tickets so you're really only playing to have fun, not win prizes. There is a coin machine (it's slow) to give you quarters for the games. During my most recent visit, the basketball machine broke on us so that was interesting. Other than the rinky dink "arcade" (which is kind of just scattered around the bounce houses), this is a fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

I'm assuming this setup is just for parties and not for open play/classes. The two hosts for the party who I'm assuming we're the owners were very friendly and approachable. The kids and adults both had pizza and the drink options were apple juice and sodas. I know there was a bathroom in the back which I did not utilize. At the end of the party, there was a little play dough type St. Patrick's theme goody bag (which my toddler loved) and water bottle given out. All of the kids at the party looked like they had a great time. Mine was very upset when the party was over and time to go home. Overall, as someone who attended a birthday party here, I would definitely recommend it for a younger child's birthday party!

We've been to Empire a few times over the past year and each visit always leaves us wanting to come…read moreback. From the moment we walk in, I love how organized the sign in process is. Even if there's a line, someone will come out and help so the line never gets too long or lasts more than a few minutes. The entire space is clean, well staffed, and has such a good array of games and obstacle courses. It was these visits that made this the perfect venue for my son's 9th birthday party. From the moment we did the online booking, we were in constant communication with the staff. The day of the party, Angelique and Will made us feel welcomed and supported. My son is nonverbal autistic and some of his friends were also on the spectrum. We needed something more free range so everyone got to do what felt best for them. Angelique and Will checked on us and were always available if we needed them. They decorated the room, doted on the guests, and took care of all the little details so all the families could focus on their kiddos. My favorite thing about them was how understanding they were of my son and how he doesn't necessarily interact with his surroundings like other children do. They gave him space and followed his lead so that he could have the best birthday for him. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place! I've always loved coming just for fun but seeing how their professionalism and organization extends to all areas of their business is truly a remarkable thing. Without a doubt my family will continue visiting and recommending this place!
