We just had my son's 9th birthday party here this afternoon and it was nothing short of fantastic! Seems this place is a bit of a hidden gem. Party was private, had the whole place to ourselves. Only thing we had to bring from home was the cake/candles. We chose to bring some decorations as well. The referees interacted with the kids the whole time and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job! The party hostess was attentive and on top of everything! They encouraged the parents to join the kids and get involved. The kids ran around like crazies and played HARD for 2.5 hours. All of the kids (and some parents) had the best time! Cannot say enough great things; highly recommend for any Nerf loving kiddos. read more

Came to a party here with my son for his cousin's 9th birthday. The staff here were nice and the party room was decorated nicely. They have nerf guns for sale out front which was nice because my sister in law was able to purchase a nerf gun for the bday boy on site. The kids all played with the beef guns in the room for a while and then took a water break, went back to the nerf guns and came back out to eat pizza and cake. Then they had about another 45 mins to play glow in the dark dodge ball. There's 1 restroom here but it's a decent size with a changing table. We had such a good time and the staff was friendly. We went on a Friday night around 6pm and we was able to get a room for ourselves. They have games u can do to make it competitive. That made it more fun. Great activity to do with the kids. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place! I was searching for a place to have my son's birthday that hadn't been done a bazillion times already. There are only so many bounce houses and bowling parties you can go to. I found this online not knowing anyone who had been there. I booked it without even visiting the place, which is unlike me. However, I thought--how bad could it possibly be? I spoke with Michele on the phone multiple times and she was polite and patient each time. The price was comparable to any other kid party. We were greeted by two party hosts, who had the patience of saints. 14 VERY LOUD boys in one small space!!! The kids had a blast with a huge array of nerf guns for a long time. After eating they returned to the space to find it glowing and in the dark. EVERYONE had fun and left smiling...yet somehow, not a bit tired! I highly recommend this place, as they did a wonderful job! read more

We made a long trek from Brooklyn and it was worth it!! My 10-year-old son and his friend had a blast at Open Play. They were the only kids there and the staff was wonderful!! They played with the boys, unjammed their guns and showed them a great time. There is a nice waiting area and the manager noticed I was chilly and turned up the heat. Overall I'm impressed by the friendly, accommodating staff, the clean, bright facility and the experience. Next time we'll take a car and not the LIRR. Now if only you'd open one in Brooklyn! read more

Lord of the Flies within a garage. At $20 per kid per hour with no supervision, there was no experience here. They ran around aimlessly for an hour shooting at random in a chaotic atmosphere. They were young enough to have some fun as there were a good supply of nerf guns to try out but the lack of any structure or even an interaction with staff made for a disappointing experience. If there was anyway I could give this place zero stars I would. I was there yesterday for my friends son birthday party and I just could not believe how terrible the service was. Though the children enjoyed playing nerf games the party aspect is run very poorly. My friend asked if they could put the drinks out as the kids were very thirsty. She was ignored. It's only after some of us got up to purchase drinks did they bring out a jug of water. Which we had to serve. When they brought out the food they didn't supply plates or cutlery till asked which they responded oh I was going to bring it in. After some back and forth the kids came out ate and we sang happy birthday. Almost immediately they started removing the closed juice boxes. But nothing else. When we tried to put the cake away we were informed that the box was thrown away. Than the party hostess made excuses and blamed her manger who never came into the room to try and help. I always assumed that when someone pays to have a party outside it was to make things easier on themselves. Instead my friend was made to setup, cleanup and then figure out how she was going to take her cake home when they threw out her cake box. The customer is not right and also no concern to this place. Pay us and the rest is your problem should me their motto. I felt very sorry for my friend and all the hard work she put into planning this party only to have the establishment who was supposed to make things easy ruin everything. Bottom line find somewhere else to have your kids party. read more
