Alex and Juan are an amazing team to work with. Responsive to our needs, quality craftsmanship and…read morefast. They immediately came out to provide the quote, sent over a detailed official quote, timeline when they could start and once the contract was in place their team was onsite the day / time they agreed on. The team took great care to keep their work area clean, communicated clearly each day and followed up daily on the next steps that would be taken. If you're in the need for any masonary project I can only recommend A & A Masonary for their professionalism, quality and integrity/service. Thanks again Alex and Juan

More than a month ago, I realized that a tree had poked a hole through a wall on the back of my…read moreproperty. Between this and wanting to raise the wall several feet to match the height of the wall by my neighbors on both sides, I knew I needed to speak to a masonry company. I used Thumbtack and found three companies that all seemed to do some great work. While two of the companies had ten or less reviews (with 5 stars out of 5 as the average), only A&A Masonry had more than one hundred reviews (also with 5 stars out of 5 as the average). I invited all three companies to stop by for an in-person quote. A&A Masonry was the only company to be very responsive as well as being able to schedule a very quick in-person visit to take place within a day or two. While they didn't initially provide the least expensive quote, they offered to do a lot more work and also discouraged me from unnecessary additional expenses which the other companies encouraged me to do. There was also some additional last minute damage identified when the tree was removed only a day earlier, and A&A Masonry was able to fix the wall for a minimal additional expense. It turned out that if I ended up using either of the other companies, I would have paid more, and it would have taken longer to complete the work. Juan and his team arrived at 5:30 AM to start the work. I expected it to take a few days for the work to be done but even with the extra work, it was still completed in only one day. They cleaned everything up as if they hadn't been there other than the work being completed exceeding my expectations. They also provided me multiple ways to pay afterwards. Alex was very easy to communicate with and quick at responding. Of the three companies I received quotes from, A&A Masonry provided me the most reasonable price while also providing me the most confidence in what I could expect. I certainly recommend anyone to use them for masonry work! Thanks to Juan, Alex, and A&A Masonry LLC!

I had an excellent experience with Albert. Communication efficient from beginning to end. I…read moremessaged with Albert and scheduled a meeting to discuss and measure the work. He arrived on time and he sent me a price within a couple of days. I know he's busy which tends to happen when you do good work so I told him, quote approved, let's make it happen! That next Saturday his guys did demo, gate door fix (our last landscaper did a shoddy job that Albert fixed for me), dirt and rock haul off, grading. Then couple days later, Monday his crews poured our driveway extension. Beautiful joint layout and great work. I paid 50% on day 1 and 50% after his guys finished. Professional level work too.

We did have an appointment set for a consultation at noon and at 12:40 ish I called him as no one showed up. He tired to reschedule for later that day at 3/4pm but that didn't work for me so he said ended up coming out within the hour. He also told me he wasn't licensed which is a huge liability for the home owner. We are doing an entire backyard Reno with a decent budget so it wasn't that our job wasn't worth while. Updated: i'm genuinely sorry for the loss of your family member! I would hope though that communication would still remain open as a simple text message to update me would have taken less than a minute and much faster than the time you took to respond on here. - i'm not mad at all so I'm not sure why you put that in your response but when I was searching for other contractors, yelp, put your company right in front of me and asked me to review it. It wasn't something that I sought out. So I left an honest review of my experience. I completely agree with other contractors being licensed and having horrible reviews. Your reviews looked great, which is why I called you in the first place. Great craftsmanship/ reviews or not, a homeowner is still liable if someone on the job gets injured and that could have potential to ruin someone's life in a lawsuit. It Has nothing to do with the quality of work but just liability in general. The only thing that was questionable is how long you've been in business and are just now getting your license. That didn't really add up to me, but I wish you guys the best truly and sorry again for your loss
