Overall, they were fast, efficient, and affordable for a local move and satisfied with their service. Most of our furniture arrived in good condition with only minor wear. However, there were a few issues: the crew didn't speak English, making communication difficult, and they relied almost entirely on shrink wrap instead of padded moving blankets to protect furniture, some of the furniture arrived scuffed up a little bit. They also folded my normal mattresses in half which can break the springs. Another issue was after payment: they demanded an exact $50 cash tip per person ($150 total). If you use them, just factor in an extra $150 in cash tips. They also only ask for tip after you write a review in front of them and haven't had a chance to inspect all the furniture and boxes read more

I have used this company twice now, and both times I have been very happy with their service. I needed a quick turn around and reached out to the company with such little notice - they arrived the next morning on time and ready to go. The guys had my things packed and ready to go so quickly, I was really pleased. I highly recommend as they will save you so much time and treat your things with the utmost care. read more

Used Buzzy mover again for my move. They were great! On time and worked efficiently. They had to walk a ways to load my stuff and also stairs at the new location. Shawn and He were fantastic. Definite recommend them. read more

**Seven hours and $700 for a move just 10 minutes away--and several major items weren't even moved.** I hired this company after reading their reviews, and I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. The move included one sectional, one king mattress, one twin bed, one large mirror, a dining table, a standing computer desk, and boxes. Despite the destination being only a 10-minute drive away, it took seven hours and cost me $700. Given the amount moved--and the items I had already removed from the move--I found the time and cost highly unreasonable. I had originally planned to move a king bedroom set, but dropped it because they said it was too heavy for two movers.Even with that reduced scope, the move still took seven hours. The communication was equally troubling. When I contacted Benson, the person I had been coordinating with, to discuss scheduling, he yelled at me and threatened to cancel the move altogether. Minutes later, he called/texted to explain that he was stressed from managing multiple moves. That does not excuse treating a customer that way. I was handling this move alone with my child, and the experience left me feeling taken advantage of at a vulnerable time. I expected professional communication, appropriate staffing, and an efficient move. My experience fell far far short of those expectations. I would not hire this company again. If you are considering them, hire them at your own risk. After paying $700 for this experience, I feel scammed, and I would strongly warn anyone against trusting them with their move.. read more

You get what you pay for. I wasn't planning to write a review, but the movers were very pushy about it. One of them, who spoke Mandarin, had difficulty communicating at first, but once I understood, he asked for my phone, rated the service 5 stars himself, and refused to leave until I wrote a review. My husband told him I would complete it after I finished packing, but he insisted on staying until he saw me type at least a few sentences. He even took the photo attached to this review. Li and Nian were the movers. They weren't very careful--at one point they dropped a lamp and a painting. Thankfully, nothing was damaged, but they were rushing so much that items were getting dropped or bumped into. My husband also had to step in and help move a few things because they couldn't manage on their own. Overall, I'd give them 3 stars. The only positive was their availability on short notice. read more

I moved within San Ramon and my experience with Living Mover was really excellent. They were on time, efficient, careful with my things, and very affordable. I would highly recommend. read more

We needed a next day appointment and they responded within minutes and we got the appointment set up. The movers showed up on time and were very professional. The two movers who moved our kitchen cabinets from the store in Sanjose to Fremont did an amazing job. Job well done! Most of cabinets were custom and some had glass doors, they wrapped it well with the packing blankets and strapped in the truck without movement. Thank you Buzzy movers!! We will recommend them to our friends and use them again to move back into our home:) read more

FANTASTIC service! I needed to clear my basement and move everything into a POD storage container ahead of a renovation starting in a few days. I realized the day before the POD was to be delivered that I in fact did Not want to load to container myself - enter Yelp Request-A-Quote. Because of this last minute decision, best decision ever, I needed a quick turnaround. After several estimates, Buzzy was the best and could accommodate my start date in two days. The movers were running behind but kept me continually updated on their arrival time, which changed a few times but the updates made this less of an annoyance (and I wasn't necessarily in a rush). I wish I got the two movers' names, they were Superb! There was a bit of a language barrier but google translate got us through. They finished my move/transfer in less than an hour and a half and did such a great job packing the POD I was able to get more things in than I had anticipated (less to deal with, extra bonus)-AMAZING! They wrapped, taped, tightened, squeezed and stacked everything wonderfully. They were efficient and careful. They unhooked my washer (the dryer was stuck they couldn't' get it out), wrapped and loaded that as well. HIGHLY recommend! I will be calling them when it is time to unload my POD (or any other time I need movers)! read more

UPATED REVIEW: There were several problems working with Buzzy Movers on my move 2.5 weeks ago, but Buzzy Movers has since resolved them to the best of their ability. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I would strongly caution anyone considering Buzzy Movers. My experience was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. The movers began the move 3 hours late, already exhausted, after getting their truck stuck for hours in my complex's driveway clearly marked "No Trucks Over 1 Ton." They later claimed the crew that got the truck stuck was different from the crew handling my move, but the movers who arrived immediately washed black grease off their arms in my sink before starting. That explanation simply did not add up. It took them 5.5 hours to move a 1-bedroom apartment only 4 miles away. During the move, they repeatedly slammed furniture and boxes up and down the stairs with their dolly loudly enough that multiple neighbors texted me to complain about the noise and behavior. They also failed to properly wrap several furniture pieces and damaged my bookshelf badly enough to break out the side panel. Despite my having photo evidence, they denied responsibility and claimed the damage already existed. They were not carefully holding any furniture on the dolly cart either, and I helped them not to drop some of my furniture pieces multiple times. I was not able to prevent them from damaging my bookshelf beyond repair or snapping the hose off my portable AC unit unfortunately. My experience them was careless, dishonest, and deeply frustrating. read more

We had a fantastic experience working with Buzzy Movers. They were incredibly quick and responsive from the start, flexible when our plans shifted, and even helped coordinate stops at multiple locations on short notice. The team was friendly, professional, and very careful with our belongings throughout the entire move. We were moving from a two-bedroom home into a four-bedroom house with stairs and tight spaces in an older property--and during a heatwave--so this was easily the most complex move we've ever done. They handled everything smoothly and efficiently, which made a stressful process feel manageable. Their pricing was also very fair, especially given the size and difficulty of the move. Even though this is likely our forever home and we don't expect to move again, we would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers. read more

Amazing job! These guys are efficient, careful, and thorough. They have it down to a science. (Especially nice to see they don't waste time, given they're charging by the hour!) Very happy to have hired them! Would absolutely recommend. Made my move a breeze. read more

Great service by Will and Leo. Courteous and diligent guys. Will definitely recommend going with Buzzymovers

I've moved several times in the Bay Area over the past 8 years and hired multiple moving companies, so I know what good service looks like. Buzzy mover's booking process and response times stood out as excellent from start to finish. The crew arrived a little late (understandable) and were decent workers overall. At least one spoke English, which met my key need for clear communication during the move. One minor issue: I lost a few shelf pins, likely misplaced during handling since I asked them not to unwrap or assemble my TV unit. No major damage or big losses, though. Compared to past moves, unloading at the new place felt unusually slow, taking longer than loading for the first time. Pricing was very competitive, making them a solid choice despite room for speed improvements. Many Bay Area movers seem to nudge for 5-star ratings before leaving, which feels common but off-putting. Overall, 4.5 stars. read more

Excellent movers. Thanks to Will and Liu. They did an excellent job of wrapping my bedroom furnitures and carrying everything to their moving truck from my second floor apartment. I had a one bedroom and about 20 boxes and everything fits perfectly in the 5x10 rental storage with some room to spare. The estimated time to complete was 2 hours and took them exactly 2 hours. Highly recommend these guys and i will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Excellent service and very professional movers. I will definitely call them again for help. Thank you.

We're very pleased with Buzzy Mover. We hired a 3 man team to move from our two bedroom condo on the second floor to our new three bedroom house. They came within their time window early in the morning and got right to work. They wrapped all our furniture very well to make sure nothing would get damaged, and even made sure no shelves inside of any of our furniture would be moving around inside. Once we got to our new house, a nice thing they noticed They were pretty quick and were much cheaper than some other alternatives we looked at. Overall, very pleased with Buzzy Mover. read more
