Excellent movers! I called for quote, and their pricing is straightforward - $140/hour, 2-hour minimum, with 5% fee for credit/debit card. No fee for cash/check. They don't take Apple Pay/Zelle/Venmo. Then you just text them the date/time/pickup address, and they confirm. You can text them with any additional questions. They were booking about 1.5 weeks out. They're two guys - Ray and Allen. They don't have any packing supplies, but they have moving blankets/plastic wrap. The day of, I texted them that I was ready early and they came almost an hour earlier (~9am)! They loaded up fast enough so we didn't block any cars in my complex. Move out date was September 1st. My wife got several quotes from other movers and NONE of them came close to Buzzing Along Movers. Ray gave us a flat price for moving, which I do not believe any other moving company does. We had to move everything from House A, drive to House B to pick up more stuff, and then finally to House C. Ray, James, Steve-O, and Allan all arrived on time at 0800 on Saturday with two trucks to begin the packing process. Most of the boxes had already been packed and staged in the garage, but these guys did the rest of the heavy lifting and was done in about 3 hrs. They moved my 75" flatscreen without issue (I have not turned it on yet at the new house, but it visually looks like nothing happened to it). When we arrived at House B, Ray realized that not all the furniture was going to fit. He was more than willing to make two trips to ensure we got everything the same day and at the same price he quoted. This second house had all the heavy furniture and again, they packed everything without issue. These guys are top notch guys helping families get through the stress of moving. Allan is a machine. This mover went above and beyond for our move yesterday! We moved from a 3 story home because my husband tore his Achilles and can't move stuff. We did help out by moving much of the boxed items downstairs to the garage and we are not pack rats but they loaded our trucked- even wrapped and dismantled the dining table and large furniture items in just over an hour!!! they hustled so hard at 8 am, I was afraid they'd be done before I got keys for the new place!!!! There was just one another helper and between them I haven't seen a hustle so good in a million years! The price they quoted was so fair- in fact they were well deserving of a tip! These guys were awesome! They quoted me half of what everyone else did. They were supposed to show up from 8-11, they actually showed up 20 min early and started getting ready. They moved my entire apartment to an upstairs 2 bedroom condo. The move including the drive and wrapping was all done within 3 hours. They included the truck and gas no extra charge. I have used this service twice, and I know I won't get the results that buzzing along movers with give me. Last time I moved to my new apartment my couch ( reclining type, super heavy and super big ) would not fit up the small hall stairwell. That didn't stop Ray and Allen though, they back the moving truck up to a porch area on the second floor and lifted up and successfully got my heavy couches into the apartment. When we moved out this time, they employed the same strategy and I know other movers would just tell me it couldn't be done. I have used these guys twice and both times were superb.
