So we thought of just driving home if the electricity wasn't going turn on soon. We had asked if we can cancel because of this and they said no refund. Only a credit to use within 2 yrs. Even if it is due to weather. Electricity did come back on 3 hrs later. So I'm glad everything turns out good. Beside that I would go back and rent from them again.

We spoke with Fiona the day prior to when we wanted to go e-biking. She was able to help and accommodate with last minute reservations and my group was able to complete the waiver ahead of time. Once you arrive, they'll have you watch a quick safety video and then explain the mechanics of the e-bike. It's fairly easy and straightforward. Their shop offered options for e-bikes, but they will assign one to you based on your needs. Be sure to ask if one with a basket is available! They are a game changer. If you plan on doing the Narrows, their e-bikes do have a compartment near the back tire to insert your hiking stick. Another thing to note, they have parking available behind their shop. The entrance is in the side of the building with the light gravel. Very convenient since you don't need to worry about street parking. We had no issues whatsoever during the trip. We even had some guests inquire about our e-bikes and where we rented them since they didn't seem too fond of what they rented themselves. We had zero complaints and only good things to tell them. Again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

It was more convenient for us since we were staying in Hurricane, making it easy to pick up gear the night before. Seeing crowds of tourists in identical boots carrying the same poles felt like classic herd behavior and an unnecessary upsell. I was wrong. The rocks in The Narrows are uneven, slippery, and constantly changing. The boots provided great traction, and the pole was invaluable for both balance and gauging water depth. Could you buy cheaper gear for about the same price? Probably. But it likely wouldn't be as good, and you'd have to carry it around. Sometimes there's a good reason to follow the herd. This was one of those times.

That changed during our planning and for when we started our Mighty 5 road trip in Springdale UT with Zion National Park, September 11-13. We needed e-bikes for getting around the ark for 2 days and for gear for the Narrows. After reviewing the local outfitter websites for Zion, and previous customers' Youtubes, we liked what Zion Guru represented. They had a good vibe. It got better. Being new to Zion, to riding ebikes, and hiking in a river, we called with specific questions about all 3 areas. A Zion Guru staff member answered our questions simply, enthusiastically and honestly. Our e-bikes were ready for us on the morning of September 12. The customer attention by each staff member was great and really friendly. When our RV Park could not deliver our shuttle back later that day, Zion Guru said no problem. "We can help. Take your bikes overnight back to your RV park. We'll give you a charged battery now and another when you come back for your Narrows gear." Now for the best! The previous day's orientation on the Narrows and the gear we picked up (neoprene socks, hiking shoes and wooden rod), made for a great and fun experience. It was a blast! We brought our bikes back Sunday afternoon only to find out we couldn't find any way to get to our RV. Our park said can't help you. No public bus, Uber or Lyft or taxi. Shout out to Carson with Zion Guru! He asked his manager for personal time off to drive us the 12 miles back. His manager said you can stay on the clock. "They are customers. We always do what we can to help our customers." Using E-Bikes helped us explore at Zion the area at a lot faster pace than if we had been using traditional bicycles. But then realized it should have been for all day. A quick call before they closed made it easy to change the length of the rental. We were met by Brian and Hannah at the store on Sunday morning. They give the best customer service with their knowledge, friendliness, and patience. They made sure we were on the right bikes for our height and comfort level. Each bike was taken around the store to make sure everything was in working order before we hopped on them. Rental includes the bike lock, helmet and carryon pack. The store location makes it so easy to get to Zion National Park. It's so much more convenient than waiting for the shuttle. The ebikes allowed us to stop wherever and whenever we wanted. There were so many photo opportunities that at times it was just a start and stop. As the day got hotter, the breeze from riding the ebike was refreshing. Even riding all day through the entire park with plenty of stops, the bikes still had plenty of charge left.
