We found Razors Edge Tours while searching UTV tours near Zion so we could avoid huge groups of people and still get to explore with our little ones. Brent was our tour guide and he was great! He was informative and gauged how our kids were doing in the UTV while driving to make sure everyone had a good time. If in Zion, we would definitely do this again. So worth it! Sand boarding is an option on the tour but we were never pressured to do the activity, just asked if we would like to. Google Maps turned us around to take a longer route as we were close to the park but not quite in it so we think it was trying to avoid the park entrance fee. As long as you are going to the meeting point they give you, you can still drive through the park. read more

We booked the Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon UTV and Sand boarding tour on a sunny day. The day of our tour it poured rain, but that didn't stop our guide Josh from showing us a great time. We laughed out loud during our UTV ride to the dunes where we sand boarded for the first time! Josh was very encouraging and filmed our effort. Then the slot canyon -WOW. It did NOT disappoint. We were staying in Hatch to mostly visit Bryce but booked a Peekaboo Slot Canyon tour in Kanab with Razors Edge. The communication for arranging with Tyler was great. If you are going to do a tour at Zion National Park, make it a "Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon Tour UTV Adventure (Private)". Ask for Razor Edge and Ask for Tyler. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended having only a day at the Zion National Park. We arrived late and booked the tour at 1am. Oh boy, was I glad. The tour was excellent. Our guide, Tyler was so accommodating and knowledgeable about the area, the canyon, geological features and even taking best photos with iPhone, It was the best 2 hours spent! After a long day of driving from LA, hubby and I took a sunset ATV tour with Adam to Peekaboo canyon.  I booked the tour about a month in advance with Brant and it was not a problem at all. He was quick to reply to all my emails and questions.  On the day of, I got a text again with exact directions for the time and place to meet.  And then it was fun and exhilarating ride on the ATV!  Our guide drove the whole time and we felt perfectly safe. Helmets and goggles are offered and they are great for protection from the cold wind and sand. The hike to Peekaboo was very easy and more like a walk in the park, Adam also took many pictures for us on our phone.  Afterwards he drove us to a small sand dune and we got to sandboard for the very first time! This was fun and sometimes a bit painful but it was amazing.  Make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty in. You will get sand everywhere even at places you don't think you will. We sandboard mostly down on our butts but it was still amazing. It was very tiring to walk back up the hill, after 4x we were exhausted! Highly recommend! read more

I had left a review previously on Brent who was our tour guide. He was wonderful. However, this tour was titled Slot Canyon & Native American site Utv adventure. This is a little misleading as there was only one very small area in Peekaboo Canyon that Brent spoke about the Native Americans. This was also supposed to be a 2 hour tour but ended much sooner. WOW... amazing and so beautifully. Razors Edge Tours was very professional and they had great communication before and even after the tour. What a hidden gem. So glad we skipped the antelope canyon instagram crowds and came here instead. Jared, our tour guide, was the best! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had the "private" atv, canyon and sand boarding tour. I thought there would be more people visiting over spring break but it almost felt like we had the canyon and sand dunes to ourselves. We could actually take our time walking inside the canyon. We didn't feel rushed or pushed through like many of the other popular tours. My youngest son found a cool rock with 3 fossils in it and my older son was crazy enough to do a handstand down the sand dunes on the sandboard. We can't wait to book another tour with this company. What a day! My friend was visiting with her daughter and I wanted to show them a fun adventure that was also safe for a 7 year old. I knew just who to contact :) Brent and Tyler run such an organized guide company and took us on the perfect adventure! We hiked through a beautiful slot canyon that requires a capable vehicle to get there through miles of deep sand. We had a blast riding in the side by side and loved seeing the views from every angle! Brent taught us so much about the geology of the canyon and knew all of the best photo spots with the canyon light. Then we all went sand boarding! We thought we picked a great company because they were easy to work with when we had less than ideal weather. We loved tour guide and loved the canyon however...if we had know that we HAD to sand board for this to tour to be the two hours that was advertised, we would have never booked with this company. We declined the sand boarding and were leaving the parking lot and hour and 15 minutes later. Even if we had sand boarded, it wouldn't have been for 45 minutes... $256.00 is a lot of money to not get what is advertised in writing. I communicated my concerns to the owner, the result... it was our fault... So disappointing!!! read more
