If you're thinking about booking with All Ways Adventure, stop reading this review right now and go do it! I promise I won't be offended. Seriously - don't overthink it, and don't waste your precious vacation time shopping around. Just head to allwaysadventure.com and book an adventure you absolutely will not regret. Our guide, Jillian, took my wife and me to the Grand Chamber and Peekaboo Slot Canyon, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire vacation - and one of the most incredible and unique adventures we've ever experienced. Jillian was outstanding: friendly, punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly someone who genuinely loves what she does. She also figured out pretty quickly that we weren't exactly candidates for the next season of Survivor. Rather than pushing us beyond our limits, she set the perfect pace, made sure we were comfortable, and somehow got us to these breathtaking destinations without us seriously reconsidering our life insurance policies. As educators, what impressed us most was that this wasn't just a hike - it was an education. Jillian shared the fascinating history of the area, told some local legends, explained the incredible geology that shaped these landscapes, pointed out the local flora and fauna, and answered every random question we threw her way. My wife and I didn't just leave with amazing photos - we left with a much deeper appreciation for this remarkable corner of Utah. All Ways Adventure is family-owned, and you can genuinely feel it. From the moment Jillian picked us up, we were treated less like customers and more like family...but, the kind she actually wanted to spend time with. That warmth and hospitality made an already unforgettable experience even more special. The Grand Chamber and Peekaboo Slot Canyon are simply magical. The photos are stunning, but they don't come close to capturing what it's like to stand there in person. These are memories my wife and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. Jillian, thank you for making the day so memorable. You somehow managed to guide us through deep sand, canyons, and desert heat while keeping us entertained, informed, and convinced us we were in much better shape than we actually are (a talent worthy of its own five-star review). If we ever make it back to Utah, our first call will be to All Ways Adventure - and we'll be hoping Jillian hasn't forgotten us...or exactly how many breaks we needed. Thank you, Jillian, and everyone at All Ways Adventure, for giving us an experience we'll be talking about for years to come. You didn't just show us some of the most beautiful places we've ever seen - you made us feel like part of the family while doing it. That's something we'll never forget. read more

Our family (two kids, ages 11 and 14) did the half-day Guide's Choice canyoneering trip in Ladder Canyon yesterday with Brett, and it was the highlight of our Utah trip -- and that's saying something given the competition. Brett was phenomenal. He made every one of us feel completely safe and confident through all the rappels (5 or 7, depending on who's counting -- we lost track because we were having too much fun). He struck that perfect balance of professional guide and enthusiastic local -- he clearly loves this place and knows it deeply, from the geology of the rocks to the broader mountaineering history of the area. That kind of knowledge just adds another layer to the whole experience. We drove over from our lodge to Easton Zion, and I'll be honest -- I wondered briefly if it was worth the extra time. It absolutely was. As a bonus, Brett had a great eye for photos, so we came home with some incredible shots to prove we actually did it. If you're in the area with family and want an adventure that's equal parts exciting, educational, and just flat-out memorable -- All Ways Adventure is your answer. Ask for Brett. read more

Jillian recently took our group on a half day canyoneering and rappelling tour. From the moment we were picked up from our front porch until we safely returned home, I knew we were in for an exciting adventure. Breathtaking cannot begin to describe the views and nature we were surrounded in. I was impressed with Jillian's knowledge of the terrain and history of the area that she shared with us. She is friendly, kind, professional and above all clearly an expert guide concerned with our safety. We were lucky to actually have 2 guides on our tour as Darren was our photographer. He took amazing shots that were not forced or posed that we'll cherish forever. Everything flowed naturally and their energy was refreshing. I would highly recommend a tour with All Ways Adventures! We'll be back when we're in Kanab next. Thank you Jillian and Darren! read more

Amazing adventure with Darren into Blue Pool Canyon! We had to pick the slot canyon based on the weather, as there was snow and rain all around the Kanab area. We were supposed to do Ladder Canyon, but had to switch it up due to the weather. Somehow the weather missed us by going to Blue Pool Canyon and the adventure was challenging, but fun for us all. We ended up in the Lake Powell Lake bed at the end of the canyoneering and got to scramble to the top of a large rock structure to get out of the lake bed. We all loved it and Darren was a great guide. Because of the versatility of this company, our tour wasn't cancelled due to weather, but we were given an opportunity to canyoneer in a canyon less travelled. Fantastic! read more

This was our second adventure with All Ways, and it was fantastic. Our first adventure was a half-day rappelling trip in a slot canyon and interacting with the All Ways team. That half-day trip was so fun we thought it would be great to hang out and backpack and canyoneer for a couple of days with this team, so we signed up for the Neon canyon trip ( 2 nights). What a great move that was. The owners, Jillian and Nathan, are lovely people and extremely knowledgeable. The logistics for this trip were superb and everything ran smoothly. Our guide, Darin was smart, friendly, made sure everyone was taken care of and kept us safe. The 2 solo participants on the trip were great people whose company we really enjoyed. The canyon approach along sandstone ledges allowed us to the view the mesas and forever in the distance and below the deep dark slot canyon that we would enter. The natural surroundings throughout the trip were the stuff of dreams, words nor pictures can really do it justice. The actual canyoneering in Neon canyon was a blast, even more than expected, and took some real physical exertion. The narrow sandstone slot, the rappelling into darkness and finishing into the Golden cathedral. Wow. What a great day that was. Thanks to everyone at ALLWAYS read more

Great company starting with the owners!! They where very helpful and honest with pricing and what to expect. They even offered me a law enforcement discount. Booked a full day 8-4pm. Reasonable price! Darren was our tour guide and he was awesome and very knowledgeable about the terrain. He was patient with our young kids and was very attentive to our needs during the day. Went canyoneering, off-roading, hiking, sightseeing, and even saw dinosaur fossils. Would HIGHLY recommend this company and DARREN!! Great Vibes read more

Best day ever! This company cuts no corners when it comes to providing an exceptional adventure. We felt very safe and prepared for canyoneering and lucked out with the most perfect weather for our trip. All of the guides are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area - our group learned so much and seriously had the best time! It's nice that they don't do cookie cutter adventures and customize each day for every party that books. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore southern Utah and northern Arizona! read more

What an experience. Darren DeSilva was the most amazing guide. He was patient, knowledgeable and experienced. He made this canyoneering excursion so much fun and I felt so safe. If you are in Kanab, do t miss this! And definitely ask for Darren!! read more

Nathan and Nate were awesome guides for our morning canyoneering adventure. My husband, myself and our 12 year old son excitedly explored and rappelled down several of the orange colored rock canyons. Each rappel was slightly different than the next and we got to traverse through the twists and turns of the canyon walls in between. We were able to take our time to enjoy the surrounding beauty and even got a glimpse of a little Canyon Tree Frog hanging out nearby. Nathan and Nate showed our son some cool rock climbing techniques at the end and we capped off the morning with a very pretty hike back to the car. Each trip is likely to add something unique to your group. So glad we did this! read more

My wife and I did two half day trips with Brandon who we highly recommend as your guide. We went repelling, some 4x4 in the sand and than out for a hike to see some pictographs. The next day we hiked two slot canyons, did some exploring and took in some sights. read more

Nathan is an amazing guide, and he will make it fun and safe. Pacing was calm and controlled, challenges were just right for my kids ages 12 & 13. Lifted Lexus was great: nobody got carsick. Kids full of smiles and wonder. This exceeded my high expectations! read more

Darren Desilva led my partner and I and three kids (12, 10, 8), and was so patient with our lack of experience and nervousness. Our 10-year-old was initially scared to death, but with Darren's teaching and encouragement, was having a great time by the end and felt really confident. Many many thanks. read more

Nathan created a really fun & memorable custom tailored adventure for us that included awesome off roading up steep red sand hills and splashing thru streams - very Indiana Jones adventure-ride-esque! He then took us to 2 different slot canyons and even fit a cool arch into our day. He's an awesome guide - totally chill, fun, knowledgeable and truly dedicated to ensuring you have an amazing adventure. We're telling all our friends that Nathan is the one & only "go to guy" for Utah adventures!! read more

After a recommendation from a friend we called up All Ways Adventure for a "canyoneering" experience. My hubby had repelled in scouts when he was young (30years ago) and I had never been. Nathan took us out and created the perfect day for our skill level and adventuresome spirit! He took us to a local slot canyon where we repelled, did some rock climbing, exploring, and squeezing through super narrow slots in the canyon walls! Nathan was on time, easy to talk to, supportive, didn't rush me (I was a little scared), gave loads of info and tips. We immediately felt very safe (my number one concern) as Nathan was really a pro. We had an amazing day! We finished a tad bit early and Nathan asked us if we were up for a little more exploring. He drove us off-road which was super fun to another canyon nearby to see some ancient petroglyphs! It was really an amazing day. One downside though, I didn't know to request that his dog join us! Now you know! Next time we're near Zion we're going to tackle some larger repelled. Thanks so much to Nathan and the All Ways Adventure team for the awesome memories! read more

Jillian was exceptionally accommodating. She was able to schedule a canyoneering expedition for my mom and I on short notice, guide us through a local slot canyon just outside of Kanab, and teach us about the sport and the environment. My mom and I had never canyoneered before and as such Jillian explained the methodology slowly and clearly. My mom was nervous and unsure at first, but Jillian coached her through the first couple of repels until she became comfortable. By the end of it, my mom had complete confidence and wanted to go for a second round! We all had a blast and a lot of laughs! I highly recommend signing up for a canyoneering expedition through All Ways Adventure. I know I will again when I return to Kanab. read more
