However, we were one of three vehicles, the last one, on this 35 mile trip. Evidently the Polaris vehicles are rented and I bet they also furnish the helmets. The goggles do not fit over normal sunglasses, irregardless of regular or prescription. We ate dirt for 5 hours and there was a little pressure to "keep up". It is 7 hours later since the end of the trip and I am still flushing my eyes with eye wash purchased from a pharmacy. Seriously, as a motorcycle rider a tinted helmet face shield, or even clear one would solve this issue. I would never recommend this tour to anyone or ever take it again, simply because of this issue. Having RV'd for 12 years and spent $20,000 to $25,000 on excursions all over the country I would never ever do this again.

Had I come on my own I wouldn't have known so many amazing things about this other worldly place. I met Steve in Kanab at the Coral Cliffs Tours office. We drove in a 4x4 company vehicle. He told me so much about all the history of each area we came across before we even got to White Pocket. I never felt unsafe as he was very professional in his handling in the navigation of the uneven, deep sand dirt road. We spent 3-4 hours traversing the various areas and hills of white pocket while he explained how they came about, the various colors and some great scientific mystery about them. Such a good tour and a heck of a lot more learned than had I just come here to snap some photos. 6-7 hours for $350.00 is a steal for the amount of time and schooling I got and I didn't have to drive. They even provided water! Worth every cent! I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Steve. Excellent guide!

Best Friends Animal Society wasn't on our original Grand Circle itinerary, but after seeing we had…read moresome extra time on a Thursday in Mid April, we decided to take a tour of the grounds. They had availability for the Grand Tour and after eating at the nearby Angel Village Cafe, we were off on the shuttle. Ours was a pretty personal tour with only 6 people in total. We first went over to see the resident pigs, including plenty of petting. I loved how they flopped down, ready for belly scratches, immediately upon us entering the pen! We then took a drive around Dogtown, then a stop at Cat World, including a visit into one of the 11 buildings on site. Plenty of cats lounging around to pet. Finally, we drove around the Bunny House, Wild Friends building, and Horse Haven. All in all, it took around an hour and a half, with plenty of excellent commentary the entire time. I do have to say I am a little skeptical about some of the stories - for example our tour guide Amanda told us about an animal shelter which didn't have any employees on site during the weekends so every Friday they euthanized the animals in their care... No way, right? Before visiting Best Friends Animal Society, I thought it was kind of cult-like, but they don't seem to be particularly pushy. In the end, it's a free tour, making it a cheap and entertaining way to spend an afternoon.

We got to there 10 min before our tour, met Raymond, our tour guide and 3 of us climbed in the Jeep. Peekaboo Canyon is amazing and not for outside of Kanab. Definitely need a 4x4 and to know how to drive in deep sand. It's an easy hike into the canyon. Raymond offered stories, history, and geology facts. Also, tips for the best settings on your phone to get even better pictures... plus showing the best places to take a picture...and he made sure to take a few of us with our phones. And wanted to give him a shout out for going above and beyond. He knew so much about the area, where to get the best pictures, how to capture them. We were so impressed. And of course, the slots themselves were so beautiful. They really customize the trip to your groups need. We had several that couldn't do much hiking, so Colt took us to the areas that worked best for us. But we passed another group that went farther and deeper in the caves as they were a younger group. J.c. holds a wealth of knowledge and experience of the lay of the land, we were a party of four in one utv and there was a party of two in another utv, with J.c. leading the way through twist and turns to get to the canyon, the ride to get there was a great experience in its self!, it was a bumpy ride but that's the lay of the land!, your going to get dusty and dirty so expect it, and you need closed toe shoes as well. It's about a 15 minute ride from the base to the entrance to the canyon and well worth the ride!!, but when you get to the canyon that's where nature and J.c. wow you with such grand beauty and the wealth of knowledge that J.c. shares with you and the hike that you take through the canyon, nothing strenuous or stressful at all. You spend time exploring through the canyon and that's where you can take great pictures of the walls and the different topography that is there!, the weather was mild, mid to high seventy's so your comfortable in light layers, but again you will be dusty/ dirty but it's well worth it, pricing if fair, so make sure you book with them for any specials or discounts that are available, it's about a two hour excursion, so you really get your $$$ worth. It was a nice ride in his 6 seater can-am. The ride was way to rough for a normal car and it looked like you could get lost way to easy.
