This is a ridiculous experience. 5 hour tour from 7 am to noon today. However, we were one of three vehicles, the last one, on this 35 mile trip. Evidently the Polaris vehicles are rented and I bet they also furnish the helmets. The goggles do not fit over normal sunglasses, irregardless of regular or prescription. We ate dirt for 5 hours and there was a little pressure to "keep up". It is 7 hours later since the end of the trip and I am still flushing my eyes with eye wash purchased from a pharmacy. Seriously, as a motorcycle rider a tinted helmet face shield, or even clear one would solve this issue. I would never recommend this tour to anyone or ever take it again, simply because of this issue. Having RV'd for 12 years and spent $20,000 to $25,000 on excursions all over the country I would never ever do this again.

We were warmly greeted by Brady the manager and soon there after by Rhees the owner- both were very welcoming, providing us with all the safety information and kindly answered all our questions. Once we arrived at the trailhead we were greeted by Rob our tour guide- he was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the slot canyon. He pointed out many areas and things of interest (including fossils, different kinds of rock formations and indications of life many years ago). Driving the UTV was an absolute blast! We had a little extra time so he showed us a few other highlights including dunes (with amazing views) and a pretty cool hoodoo! Expedition Kanab has three rules- Stay safe, Have fun and Learn something!! We accomplished all three!! We can't recommend Expedition Kanab enough! We WILL be back!! Brent was our tour guide and he was great! He was informative and gauged how our kids were doing in the UTV while driving to make sure everyone had a good time. If in Zion, we would definitely do this again. So worth it! Sand boarding is an option on the tour but we were never pressured to do the activity, just asked if we would like to. Google Maps turned us around to take a longer route as we were close to the park but not quite in it so we think it was trying to avoid the park entrance fee. As long as you are going to the meeting point they give you, you can still drive through the park.

And wanted to give him a shout out for going above and beyond. He knew so much about the area, where to get the best pictures, how to capture them. We were so impressed. And of course, the slots themselves were so beautiful. They really customize the trip to your groups need. We had several that couldn't do much hiking, so Colt took us to the areas that worked best for us. But we passed another group that went farther and deeper in the caves as they were a younger group. J.c. holds a wealth of knowledge and experience of the lay of the land, we were a party of four in one utv and there was a party of two in another utv, with J.c. leading the way through twist and turns to get to the canyon, the ride to get there was a great experience in its self!, it was a bumpy ride but that's the lay of the land!, your going to get dusty and dirty so expect it, and you need closed toe shoes as well. It's about a 15 minute ride from the base to the entrance to the canyon and well worth the ride!!, but when you get to the canyon that's where nature and J.c. wow you with such grand beauty and the wealth of knowledge that J.c. shares with you and the hike that you take through the canyon, nothing strenuous or stressful at all. You spend time exploring through the canyon and that's where you can take great pictures of the walls and the different topography that is there!, the weather was mild, mid to high seventy's so your comfortable in light layers, but again you will be dusty/ dirty but it's well worth it, pricing if fair, so make sure you book with them for any specials or discounts that are available, it's about a two hour excursion, so you really get your $$$ worth.
