We rented 3 bikes for myself, my husband and our 12 year old son. It was our son's first time on an e-Bike and unfortunately, he was not confident enough and fell off it just as we got to the Zion entrance. He suffered a significant scraped knee and chin and the bike chain came off. We struggled to care for him and get the bike chain back on, and finally called the shop to ask for help. They arrived quickly and got the chain back on the bike for us. After they left we worked with our son for about 10 to 15 minutes in the parking lot to get him more comfortable on the bike, so we could continue on, but after the fall, he just wasn't able to get his confidence back. We were trying to make a Ranger program and were running out of time. We decided, to call the shop and ask them to just come and get the bikes, so we could get on our way on foot to the program, but they had a better solution for us. They offered to bring a cargo bike and take back two of the bikes. This allowed my son to ride on the back of the bike as a passenger and got us to our destination more quickly than walking. We also got to enjoy the thrill of the eBikes!

As a hardtail owner and frequent rider, my biggest worry was sub-standard rental bikes. Nope, these folks have their own service area off the main room and my bike was in perfect condition. Banging down the slickrock obstacles and feeling the bike take care of me and own the line as the rocks challenged me along the way was a flying joy. A joy that only confidence in your machine gives. We are both over 65 years old but in relatively good shape. Her knowledge of the Virgin River, her patience and training on using the stick as we maneuvered our way down the River was critical. I did end up slipping on some muddy rocks and really bruised my leg but again her patience and compassion got me / us back to the visitors center. Our experience with Zion Adventures and more particularly Lana was awesome ! Knowledge patience and compassion are compelling assets for a guiding company.

Seeing crowds of tourists in identical boots carrying the same poles felt like classic herd behavior and an unnecessary upsell. I was wrong. The rocks in The Narrows are uneven, slippery, and constantly changing. The boots provided great traction, and the pole was invaluable for both balance and gauging water depth. Could you buy cheaper gear for about the same price? Probably. But it likely wouldn't be as good, and you'd have to carry it around. Sometimes there's a good reason to follow the herd. This was one of those times.

Ina & Lillian were our guide and the made sure the 6 of us on tour were all safe and comfortable throughout the entire 3 hour tour. We rode all the way up to Temple of Sinewava and made several educational stops along the way. Ebikes are a great way to see the entire park if you're not necessarily interested in hiking but want to experience Zion.

They give the best customer service with their knowledge, friendliness, and patience. They made sure we were on the right bikes for our height and comfort level. Each bike was taken around the store to make sure everything was in working order before we hopped on them. Rental includes the bike lock, helmet and carryon pack.
