We once had what appeared to be wings around the house. They came, took a sample and had it tested. It turned out to be organic matter dropped from a nearby tree. When he did not hear back from me, he wrote me a letter expressing his disappointment in how everything was handled by his team and offered to complete the contract and the added work at no extra cost to me. It would all be completed for the original contract price. He was also there to supervise the entire project. Here is where he really impressed me. Before leaving we chatted a bit. We got on the subject of other house projects and I mentioned I was looking for a plumber and told him my issue. He asked to look at it and in 5-mins had resolved that issue and probably saved me several hundreds of dollars. I called to make the payment, which was deducted from my account, and two weeks later the collection agency is still sending me letters. I suppose it will depend on whether or not we need to involve a lawyer and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to determine if we ever use them or not. Communication and followup with the office and scheduler was excellent and they had availability next day to come inspect, unlike 2 others we called. Even came with shoe protectors to keep floors clean after poking around. He somehow managed to keep a straight face and remain cheerful and compassionate when it turned out to be a false alarm. Pointed out some roof / attic repairs that may be needed, unrelated to wildlife. We learned about PCA through Reddit, from others who actually had wildlife and gave them high marks for removal. Just writing another recommendation for Pioneer Home Repairs!!…read more I had another small job I needed completed - and to be honest - I wasn't even sure if what I wanted existed - but Zachrey Conner came up with a great solution which not only gets the job done - but was economical because he was able to use my existing hardware instead of having to start buying a bunch of expensive stuff I didn't need! We have a screened in porch on the back of our house - and we have a medium sized dog who we like to give access to both our porch and the fenced in back yard. We keep his bed, along with his food and water bowls on the porch and our solution up to now has been to prop open the screen door so he could go in and out. But about a week ago we had a pretty windy day and the wind caught the propped open door and bent it all the way open - which damaged the mechanism on the top of the door that is used to prop the door open. I went to Lowes to price a new screen door (thinking that was our only option) and while doing so I thought to myself - why dont they make a doggy door for within a screen door?? I looked at Lowes, Home Depot and even Amazon and did not find anything like what I was thinking would be a perfect solution - because I knew even if we replaced the bent door it would likely be damaged again in the future if we continued to prop it open. So - I reached out to Zach and he literally showed up at my door to talk about what I wanted within 30 minutes of texting him (like seriously - who does that)!! He said he was finishing a job near by and so he came right over. We talked about what I was wanting and he said he thought we could modify my exisiting door without too much trouble and he then told me my original door wasn't damaged - I just needed a new part for the existing door - and that part cost less than $20!! I was thrilled. We setup an appointment for him to return to do the work and he finished the job a little earlier today. Once again I am thrilled with the outcome. He installed the new part to fix my door and customized the original door by removing two vertical slats to the right hand side of the door and created a frame to support the changes in the actual screening - which he cut and added a metal piece to the bottom of and then added magnets in the frame of the door itself so it now swings open for my dog to go through but will stay closed to prevent bugs from entering an open hole - just like a doggy door is supposed to do!! Now I can use my door but keep it closed all while allowing my dog to come and go multiple times per day without having to physically let him in and out of the porch or prop open the door!! Zach is such a wonderful handyman! I highly recommend him for any repairs or maintenance work you need done! I was told if I had a problem, to just call and they would send someone out. I called the company and asked if they could send someone out, as I had a problem in my yard. (Action is 2.6 miles from my home) She asked me to send her pictures. I emailed her pictures. Her response was it was a lawn problem and I needed to contact a yard maintenance company. Well I found out it was grub worms. Action is supposed to take care of 20 feet from the house. Grub worms are scarab beetle larvae. To my knowledge beetles are bugs. The infestation is right outside both my front and back doors. I returned a email to her asking if they had anything to handle grub worms. I got no response. I don't know exactly how much contract is left with this company but they can have it!
