One of my favorite local coffee shops in the area. Located in a small plaza strip, there's plenty of parking around. I like the outdoor patio they have, it's very pet friendly. The indoor is spacious with a few tables to sit at. It doesn't get too crowded or noisy so a good environment to work or study. My favorite drinks are the buzzed lavender, ube cloud, and chai latte. They also have really good food for either breakfast or lunch. My favorite breakfast items are the croissant sandwich, avocado toast, and the French toast. For a more heartier lunch, I would go for the bumble bee burger and the oh yeah burger. It also come with tater tots. Very good portion and delish. Friendly service and they are usually pretty quick even if it gets crowded sometimes. Overall, quality is pretty consistent. I like the casual ambience, definitely a favorite spot in the area. read more

Has beautiful decor all real plants apparently someone has a green thumb. The employees are friendly and helpful. On top of all that the coffee and food was great. I had the bumble bee burger that in my not so humble opinion was probably the best burger I have had in Houston. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

Nice, cozy cafe with a warm yellow ambiance and good service. The Iced Buzzed Lavender and Iced Ube Cloud were both delicious, with perfectly balanced coffee and just the right sweetness. The Strawberry Ricotta Toast was light and tasty. read more

I am drooling as I'm writing this review. My sister and I wanted a quick bite after the gym when we were visiting family in the Houston area. This place is definitely my vibe -- super hip and welcoming. I LOVE avocado toast so I definitely had to get the smoked salmon avocado toast. On the day I visited, I also learned what capers were. They were a little salty but definitely complemented the salmon and avocado well. The matcha latte was also super refreshing and not too sweet. I think my little pup wanted a taste too haha. Been coming to the same Blalock location for years and i hate to say that the service quality have continuously gone down. I order the same thing always, the matcha strawberry cloud. The original recipe was perfect, i saw the barista's make the matcha by order and the strawberry foam was delicious. I stopped by today to see them pour premade matcha from a jar and a use different strawberry foam. The matcha was very ... powdery and the cold foam tasted odd... very artificial. read more

Good study spot in the Spring Branch area! I love the variety of drinks they have, and in particular their Ube Cloud and Pandan Cloud. Both are slightly different but have syrup, espresso, and milk. Their syrups are homemade too! There's a decent amount of parking, and several tables for studying. Temps might be a little low, so bring a jacket if you get cold often. The cashier was nice, even let me add a bit more of the homemade pandan syrup to my drink. I like the branding of it, coffee buzz = bees. Def would study here again. read more

This was my first time there as I was craving French toast and my brother suggested it. You order at the counter, are given a number and food is brought to you. Most of the seating is stools and there a few chairs with a back support. There is outdoor seating too. I ordered a small Americano with a splash of half and half. The coffee is smooth. The brown sugar was hard to pour. I told an employee. She took the sugar dispenser to the back and brought it back. It didn't work. I had to put white sugar which is in envelopes. The French toast is beautifully presented with powdered sugar, fruit and a side of syrup. I ordered with no whip cream. The toast could have been more moist. But this place has great reviews and I'd like to go back and try other items. read more

What a gem of a place! After being disappointing shopping my husband took me here for a treat. Buzz N Bites is one of the cutest coffee shops in the area. I love that they offer speciality drinks and food items you cannot get anywhere else. Their menu is pretty extensive an there is something for everyone. They offer all different types of milk and will customize your drink to your liking. I went with their seasonal Salted Pistachio Latte with almond milk and it was one of the best drinks I had in Houston. My husband got their popular Ube Cloud Latte which was even better. How?! It's a little on the sweet side which he liked but you can make it less sweet if you want. They even had a Pandan version of it. The inside of this place is super cute but can get really busy. The staff are extremely nice and really know their stuff. The guy at the counter really helped us choose what we wanted. They even had delicious looking cookies that I want to come back and try. I highly recommend checking this place out. Oh and they offer 10% off if its your first time and checking-in with yelp. read more

This place has been on our list for awhile and on Saturday the fiancee and I were finally able to cross this place off. We were stuck between a few options but the staff, who were super friendly and helpful, helped us decide on the Ube Cloud and Buzzing Pumpkin drinks. The Ube Cloud has the caffeine kick from espresso, sweetness from condensed milk, and a light ube flavor at the end. The Buzzing Pumpkin is their version of a pumpkin spice but even tastier! The brown sugar cinnamon syrup elevates this version over what other places offer. Overall we were both really happy with our drinks and will be visiting very soon to try other items from their menu. There are two other things I would like to note. We visited after 3 PM and the place was almost completely full. This speaks volume about the quality of their drinks and food offerings. We were already full from lunch, but we're looking forward to returning to try their food items. Everything sounds really good and their prices are very fair. Another thing worth mentioning is the friendliness of their staff. There was a lady, who I presume is the owner, who was very friendly and helpful. She had this positive aura that let you know she takes pride in her shop and what they offer. You could tell this aura spreads to the rest of her staff because they were all smiles. I can honestly say this made us enjoy our experience even more and left us wanting to support this business again. read more

A friend told me that this place serves up some amazing coffee, so I stopped by for an afternoon pick-me-up. Their menu is extensive and it was hard to decide what I wanted-- I eventually got a pistachio latte, which was very delicious but a little too sweet for my taste (I asked for fewer syrup pumps, too). Service was quick even though they were busy. The inside of the shop is adorable. The pastries looked popular as they were pretty much sold out. I will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I were in town visiting and stumbled across this place and I'm so glad that we did! The overall vibe is warm and inviting plus the staff was very nice as well which made our experience even better. I had gotten the smoked salmon avocado toast minus the capers and onions which was really good and my husband got the Texas melt which he said was really good as well. My UPDATED review is more about the service. I had called ahead to ask if I could bring my dog and the person on the phone said "yes, of course!" When I arrived and ordered, a woman came out from the back to tell me that my dog wasn't allowed. I told her I called ahead and I was told I could bring my dog. She said, yes, but they made a mistake. ??? Super weird and bizarre. I don't think I'll ever go back given this negative experience. Safe to say, it is NOT pet friendly. read more

I tried their recommended toffee and cream iced coffee , and their blended matcha with white mocha. Both drinks were so good! The toffee and cream was strong and sweet, it had a LOT of flavor, which i really liked. Every sip had a rush to it lol. The blended matcha also had a lot of flavor and the pump of white mocha added a perfect amount of sweetness. Overall loved this spot. They have lots of drink and food options. And its perfect for studying but there are limited outlets. read more

I came in asking if I could do a Cookie Biscoff Matcha instead of coffee, being that I am very caffeine sensitive and can't have coffee, espresso, etc. and the barista made a facial expression as if it was a stupid request then hesitated to answer. Might not be that big of a deal, but that was just rude. I won't be coming back. I didn't know it was a crime to customize a drink lol do better. read more

Outdoor seating for Sunday Brunch was amazing before Cowboy Carter Concert later in the day. Easy to order and fast accurate service! Great cold drinks and brunch items. Other got french toast but I wanted the Luau Burger. Ordered without bbq sauce and it was cooked to order and very delicious with the ham and pineapple. Music was current and enjoyed the clean, well kept atmosphere of this eatery!! Great staff and management running this location. One of my fav brunch places on the weekend! Buzz & Bites was recommended as one of the best coffee shops near the Spring Branch District so I had to go check it out. Walking in I felt the energy was so lively with beautiful and fun decor. The girls upfront were very nice and attentive. Absolutely loved the menu options not just for breakfast but for lunch as well. As a matter of fact I ended up going back for lunch as well. This would be a go to coffee shop for me if I lived closer to it. That being said I still go out of my way to come here. I love their strawberry matcha cloud drink, it's one of my fav drinks at a coffee shop. They also have a ton of food options. A lot of them have an Asian spin to them which I enjoy. I like the banh mi sandwich. Their pasties are also not those typical Houston coffee shop pastries that you see everywhere. I like the strawberry croissant whic is saying something because I usually don't like croissants. It can get a little loud in there if you are trying to work and the seats are not the most comfortable but if you go at an off hour you can get a lot of work done. I also like their outdoor patio when the weather is nice. You should go here if you're looking for a coffee shop with good food and a variety of drink and food options. read more

Super Excited to see a coffee shop that warrants you to stop and stay a while in Spring Branch. Trying to gentrify this neighborhood in a hurry here. Plenty of parking and a fun theme make B&B and easy spot to pull into and check out for first timers. We got the Pumpkin Crisp Iced and Buzzed Lavender Lattes. Both were excellent, and are obviously better than your standard drive thru national brand. Plenty of variety of lattes and coffees to choose from. For brekky we got the Avocado Bacon Croissant and Strawberry Ricotta Toast. Both tasted as expected and were tasty simple dishes that had an elevated look. My only suggestion is to not skimp on the quality of the toast. Easily this single most elevating aspect of a good avocado toast is a nice cuttable and chewy Homestyle slice of bread. I have two more things to add! Recently I have been trying the egg based breakfast items on the Buzz and Bites menu... and each time the eggs have come out so fresh and fluffy, it's amazing. Came here on a Saturday close to noon. It was fairly busy and about 60% full. There is indoor and outdoor seating. On the outside, they have umbrellas and even warmers. Ordered a hot buzz lavender drink, which is one of their popular drinks. It was served lukewarm. Didn't taste any lavender. Maybe it's not a strong flavor. Rating: 4.5/5 Ordered the waffle sandwich and it was better than I thought. The waffle was soft and moist. It had some kind of light sauce in it. You don't really need the syrup. Rating: 5/5 Overall, it's a cute spot to meet up with friends, family, or just to work/study. They offer free wifi and free cold water. Will definitely return if I'm ever in the area. read more

I had lunch here about a week ago. It is counter service with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking spaces available. Buzz N Bites is a breakfast/lunch bakery and I decided to try one of their new hamburgers (the Classic) that comes with tater tots for $12.25. They had bottled and canned soft drinks in a display case along with housemate coffee, various teas and smoothies, etc. The meal came out and was presented attractively on its tray. The burger had 2 different cheeses, bacon and was dressed with romaine, tomato and house sauce. Taste wise I thought it was ok. Not bad but not to the level that I would order it again as it didn't stand out. I think it had to be with the beef patty not being flavorful enough for me and you may like it more than I did. Also, I prefer french fries to tater tots but that's all they offer here to go with the burger. It was more of a 3 meal than a 4 to me. If I returned I would order one of their panini's or sandwiches. I realize this is a popular eatery and it's probably not fair rating it just on my burger meal but that's the way it was for me. I loved trying this place! The Pandan iced coffee was phenomenal! And the French toast was on par. The only issue I had was I asked for a side of bacon, and I only got one small piece of bacon . This is legitimately the absolute cutest Cafe I've ever been to in Houston. More so on the Katy side and slightly hidden. This place is so cute! A fun little coffee shop with very friendly staff. I came on a Saturday morning and it was packed! The coffee was okay. I just got an iced vanilla latte, but it wasn't anything spectacular. However I am optimistic to try one of their specialty drinks next time! The bacon avocado croissant was delicious. I love the drinks here! The drink menu is very extensive with lots of unique drinks and offerings like the Pandan cloud. The bites offering is also very impressive! I tried the melting tuna sandwich last time and it was delicious! 2 pm on a saturday and it's packed for a reason! Great for catching up with family/friends and doing work, but the seats aren't too comfortable for me to be able to sit here for hours and do some work. Space is a bit compact, but there's outdoor seating too so it'll be nice to hang around once it's cooler out. read more

I've been meaning to check this place out for the longest time and I'm so glad I finally did. The people are extremely friendly. Nice atmosphere. The coffee is great. Super cute place with tons of options of small bites, creative drinks, and pastries. We ordered the 3 small bite combo and the smoked salmon avacado toast was by far the best. the Mediterranean would have been better with prosciutto instead of ham, but I enjoyed it never the less. The pumpkin spice latte was very tasty and a crossaint to go was amazing. Overall, great place. After getting a chocolate crossaint to go, we tried it later in the day. It was terrible, so bad I dropped a star. Looked great, but it was dry, tasteless, and basically completely hallow. read more

Every time we go to Costco, we make sure to stop at buzz & bites before!! We love this coffee shop so much!! The coffee is yummy and the food is great as well. We always get the bagel sandwich on an everything bagel and a classic croissant sandwich and split it - the perfect quick and yummy breakfast. They also have pastries and baked goods. The service has always been great; friendly, knowledgeable, and want to make sure you have whatever you need (hot sauce, more/less milk in your coffee, etc). In the summer we usually sit inside (beware - it's very busy on weekends but we can usually find a place to sit), in the winter it's nice to enjoy your coffee outside in the outdoor/patio seating read more
