I am an older lady and I visit my unit at least once a week, many times after dark. The security is top notch-I always feel safe, unlike my old unit in town. The staff are friendly and very helpful. 'There is even free coffee, etc. in the lobby, as well as a selection of moving supplies. I accidently locked my keys in my car a couple of months ago, and the office was extremely helpful in helping me get on my way. The rates beat my old unit by $100/mo., and I couldn't be happier! Eugene Safe Storage - I cannot say enough positive about them. I'll summarize and give you the good, the bad, the ugly... here we go! Location: Convenient, right off the interstate, easily accessible, gate under passcode access, well lit. Price: SO FAIR! Gosh, quite competitive to be honest! I never once blinked at the bill. Honest: We overpaid. I had no idea. THEY reached out to me and refunded my money. WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS how I appreciate honesty like this. Facility: Brand new. Shiny, clean, well-lit. Lovely parking spots, great long-term storage spots for RVs, I can go on-and-on. Accessibility: They answer the phone, they answer email, you get near immediate responses. Who can ask for better than that? STAFF: Josh and Christi up for the win. These two took care of us! I was a bit 'needy' for dates / times... they made it happen for us. They have a stellar sign up deal which is why I went with them in the first place. The manager is really cool and understanding and the staff as a whole has been nothing but kind and professional. All in all I have no complaints aside from the pricing after the new costumer deal isn't the best but it's not terrible. I have a 5X10 unit and it's $100/mo which isn't a terrible price but my boyfriend has a 10X10 and he only pays $15 more at another location that's newer and set up in a better way. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a storage facility located in Eugene.

As a student whose out of state, having a storage locker is ESSENTIAL. I have had my unit for over…read morea year, typically they do fill up fast at the end of spring term, so if youre looking to potentially use a storage locker I would call sooner rather than later to make a reservation. You can sign up and allow three other people acess your locker, really helpful if you want to make the use out of your space and save money. I find that most of the staff are very friendly and helpful and they sometimes have a dog behind the desk.

They took very good care of us, explaining all the ways we could reduce the cost and even recommending a smaller unit when we came by to take some of the stuff out to bring back home. They're always there with some packing tape, a dolly or a tape measure to loan you when you need it. On top of that - the facility is EXTREMELY clean, both inside and out. They're just extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. We were almost sad to be moving out of it!

Their employees started harassing me for being a week late on payment, when I would call to pay and no one answered and I DID NOT leave a voicemail..they decided they'd call me everytime I did and ask why I called. They'd give me nothing but attitude when I told them repeatedly I didn't want my card on file. So I left a review on FB stating how I felt probably 4-5 months ago, call to pay for the month of June, everything goes fine and I make my payment just for when I get off the phone the lady I had spoken to (name ends up being Diane) calls me back asking me to call back to answer a question. I call back for her to ask me why I left the review I did on FB and would I take it down, I explained my reasoning for it and that I wasn't taking it down. I immediately get a snippy response saying if I was unhappy why would I stay and that she's more than happy to terminate my contract with them. I tell her I left that review months ago and your just getting back to me NOW about it and that that is how I felt at the time and that I felt like I was being harassed now for the review I left. She starts laughing and saying "oh you feel harrased?! Please tell me how I am harassing you?" So I hung up the phone. I realized that it was very rude to have had an employee act this way towards me so I called back asking for upper managements number and she states she is upper management, I asked why she felt like she needed to treat me the way she was over something that happened MONTHS ago? She ended Up giving me more very poor customer service and was belittling me and hanging up on me, then wouldn't answering my call till the third time I called and STILL was very rude to me. Needless to say a few days later I got a letter in the mail from them saying I'd broken my contact and needed to be out in 10 days!!! I will NEVER recommend this storage unit place to anyone and feel people need to know how they check up on their customers reviews and if they don't like it or if you arent willing to make it a positive review they'll terminate your lease. Not to mention I just had a baby and c-section and had to get all my belongings out in the midst of it all. Wish they still had their old management team he was so nice!

I heard the assistant say she had another job to be at, and yet she still called several after hr repair places on the weekend, and inky one was willing to come. This tenant yelled at the assistant, tking her she herself either had to fix it or wait with her things all night (!) The assistant then called her higher management, and neither the manager or her district manager were willing/able to come on site. This tenant even asked me to help roll down her door (I was wearing a cast!) This tenant even called police and lied to the assistant, telling her police says she had to stay with her items and were sending a patrol response lol, yet when the assistant called SPD they told her the dispatcher in fact told the tenant they don't get involved in tenant problems and weren't sending anyone. The tenant was very verbally aggressive, and the assistant still remained professional. All I know is I saw her tell the tenant she wanted to help, had to get to another job, and the tenant was welcome to stay with her things til the technician arrived. This tenant was the one behaving in a horrible, threatening manner.
