Ernie told me if I'm moved out before the 7th of the month I would be refunded 125.55. I was given a receipt for that refund amount on August 5th, 2024. I call today and was informed by Kendra Valdes, that since I was on auto payments that it's my fault that I will not be reimbursed the 125.55 from Stor-N-Lok in Eugene, Oregon due to not canceling my autopay. Unfortunately, that's considered theft by this company and unethical business practice. I am shocked and very disappointed that this company and this management team have turned out to be thieves. shame on you! Thank you for responding Update: The amount of the refund due me was credited to my account. I want to thank Cedric for responding to this review and for following through on his word. It's a shame that I had to go public in order to get this issue resolved. But here we are. The issue is resolved! Word of advice to anyone reading this post. If you know that you are due any amount of money- don't settle for the first person who says no to you. When you know your rights are being abused Don't let the first person tell you no. Stand up for what you believe to be true. There is always someone in that situation that can help you resolve that issue. Thank you Cedric for giving me some faith that this business may actually be a good honest business.

Rat feces were everywhere inside of the locker, bags with fowl odors. My recliner was covered in feces, does any bit of the money I pay for storage go towards keeping rodents and bugs out of the lockers? After cleaning out my unit, I found nearly everything damaged or infested with rodents. Boxes full of sheets and pillows torn to shreds for nesting. Mice droppings everywhere. It was terrible. $1000's of damages here. Regardless of what you sign in a contract, if all of the units are having the same problem of having their things infested with pests, ie. mice and rats, the storage company should admit there is a problem. I would advise NOT to store your things here. If there are damages the manager's response is "there is nothing I can do to help you". Admitting their is a problem would be enough.

When we went back to the unit we discovered that there was a rat infestation. The manager told us that rats had been reported months earlier but we weren't informed. If we had been told maybe we could remove our stuff in time to avoid this situation. The manager said they had called an exterminator but we found a large LIVE rat in our unit and 11 LIVE newborn rats in a box. (See photos) Every surface was covered with rat urine and feces. All of our soft furniture: couch, mattress, glider had been chewed and destroyed. Between the furniture we need to replaced, the cleaning costs, and the junk removal costs we are out over $2,500. Not to mention the weeks it will take to disinfect everything so that my toddlers don't get sick. It has been almost a month and we still have not received any compensation. All we were offered was $500, which only covers the disposal fee of what was destroyed (and we still haven't even received that check yet).
