I received a call first thing the day after my review. It sounds like my RFQ as well as a handful from other people had populated in a spam folder of some kind and they hadn't seen it. By putting my name on here together with the dates, they were able to find my RFQ and get my number. They apologized for not getting back to me. Unfortunately, they are not available the day that I need services. That is okay as at least I know now that I need to look elsewhere. I'm still down a week, but hopefully I haven't lost out getting help with my upcoming move with the time loss. I understand that things happen and everyone gets shorthanded, so I appreciated the call. Shawn came to my location and gave me a estimate which none of the other companies had offered. Shawn also let me know what the state rules were and how they followed them for his business practice. The move portion of their services went well but one desk wasn't assembled correctly and had extra pieces left over. We had to take the desk back apart and reassemble ourselves. Quoted one hour minimum but when the bill came was charged for a two hour minimum. Shawn, the owner was rude with me and said I should go use another mover next time. I suggested a written quote would have been helpful, but he laughed that off...That being said, the two men he sent were very good and careful with a huge piece of furniture. One other complaint, they were 1/2 hour late of the quoted window but there was no phone call to provide a new ETA, and the movers arrived without their shoulder straps. read more

Called these folks a few months ago and was surprised and happy to discover that they are very customer oriented. After a personal visit, we got a cost estimate that was reasonable and a lot of information about state rules. On moving day the employees arrived on time, were very personable and professional, worked steadily until the job was complete and were very careful with our belongings. NOTHING was damaged in the move! We're doing another move in a few weeks and have already scheduled Elite to complete that move as well. We were pleased with the service that we had from Elite Relocation Services. Shawn was great to work with in getting the move scheduled and called the night before the move to confirm that we were ready. Ours was an in-town move and David, Will and Rashad showed up on time and were so efficient in getting our things out the door and into the truck. At the new house they were careful and cautious and even took off our treadmill arms (and then put them back on) so that it could fit into the room where we wanted it placed. What a wonderful moving experience! We did get lucky that another move was cancelled and we had 4 guys instead of 2. The crew was very friendly but laser focused on the move. They were careful with everything. They had everything in the truck in about 2 1/2 hours and it was a full truck. Our move was to Terrebonne, OR and the unloading went just as well. We set up the move of our 10' X 18' storage unit located at A Storage Place Springfield LLC in Springfield, OR with Elite Relocation Services of Eugene, per recommendation of A Storage Place. This turned out to be a very good decision. The folks from Elite were waiting for us as we showed up early on the day of the move. Shawn, the supervisor, Will, & David proceeded to get to work right away after surveying the unit. They smoothly extracted all items from the unit with no problems in a very efficient manner and got them all loaded on their nice, clean, large truck. Sean explained in detail all their procedures and those legal ones required by the State of Oregon. After signing the paperwork, we departed to let them finish the move. Later, we arrived back at the destination, Klamath Falls, Oregon. After weighing the contents, Shawn related what our cost would be, based on the weight. The next day, the truck was on its way down to our destination storage shed in our son's Klamath Falls back yard. Will and Rashad arrived a bit late due to a glitch at the truck scales enroute. When they arrived, they got the truck set up in an efficient manner, perfectly aligned with the open door on our shed. They efficiently unloaded our large quantity of storage items in an expeditious and very efficient manner. They worked together with us for a painless transition. They were very good humored and efficient with very pleasant personalities. They took great pains to insure that all items were handled carefully and nothing was damaged. They made the work a great experience. The contents were transferred to the storage shed in about 3 hours, and filled it very efficiently to capacity. We were very impressed with Will and Rashad's efficiency and great attitude! They made it a pleasure to watch them operate! When they finished, we settled up the bill and they departed. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience, considering the fact that it was work. We are very impressed with Elite Relocation Services and all the personnel involved. We have had movers in the past that had honesty problems but that is not the case with Elite Relocation. They came out and gave their estimate and it was real detailed and informative. I really appreciated them being honest and giving me all the helpful tips. The owner spent time with to make he covered all the bases and information so that we would not be surprise by anything. But I must say the real surprise was the crew that did the move itself: Will, Mateo, Rashad, Justin. They were great and very flexible and helpful in all aspects of our mover. They placed things where we asked them, put things back together that were disassembled, very friendly, and even mover a couple of items for that they didn't move that were in our new house in Gresham.
