Vic and Dave loaded my exceedingly full 2 bd apartment into a 16' Pod in just over 6 hours - which was much faster than my first Pod move to Eugene. They were very careful to wrap my furniture, music gear, and washer/dryer, and pack the Pod full with no room to spare. They went the extra mile to disassemble my large oak bookshelf, and wrap it flat for future storage. They were also very nice and easy to work with. I move a lot and have used several moving companies in the past; who all advertise themselves as safe, professional, trustworthy, reliable, efficient, thorough, etc. but fail to deliver on those promises. These guys are all of that and more. They arrived when they said they would, got the job done well, and quickly. The movers themselves were awesome too. They went above and beyond to get my stuff moved safely. I even entrusted my 7 foot tall Bird of Paradise plant to them to move and they got it to the destination absolutely unscathed - along with the rest of my three bedroom house. Unbelievable. These were the worst movers I have ever had, but I think they just took on more than they could handle because they aren't professional movers. If you're just moving across town, then they are fine for that type of move. If you're moving to another city, I would highly discourage you from booking them. Here are some examples: 1. One of the movers actually went through my donation pile and started calling friends to pick up the stuff I wanted to donate - all during the move (on billed time!). 2. They forgot to bring their car phone charger and had to stop by the store, with our 30 foot truck, to pick one up. 3. They did not tape down any plastic/mats on the floors in my new home so they made a mess of the carpet - unfortunately, it was raining too. 4. They were not careful with our things and actually made 2 holes in our leather chair...and would not reimburse us or help us with the repair bill. 5. They asked me to write a check for them under one of their girlfriend's name - doesn't seem like a legitimate practice and I should have said no, but I just wanted them out of my house by the end of the move. So all in all, save yourself some trouble and book another moving company. Good luck! read more

They showed up as scheduled with enough people to get the job done. I was a little concerned at the beginning when they arrived because they all loaded back up in the truck and said they had to go get gloves. I actually thought maybe they were afraid of the job and might not return but they returned promptly with gloves. the price seemed a little expensive for one day's work but they did have to move items about 90 miles away and there were some large, heavy items. They were also responsive, available and could arrive when needed so I just paid it. read more

We used Vic and Lonnie twice, once to move a stove and once to move our apartment furnishings from Walterville to Creswell. They are incredibly hard working and quick. It took them five hours from beginning to end, loading, travel, and unloading. A great value. They are friendly and courteous, and professional. I can say without reservation that WDA Movers provided the best moving service I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough good things about Victor and his crew, and I wholeheartedly recommend them without reservation. Not only did Victor agree to work on Sunday, but he and his crew literally saved me. I had given notice to my landlord, and was leaving town the next day. I had to have everything moved out of the place by Sunday. Two hour before their scheduled arrival, Victor called to reconfirm the move and to make certain we were all on track. However, I was almost in tears. I had been awake for more than 25 hours packing my belongings, and I was only 60% done. Victor reassured me that he would have my back and that everything would be fine. When Victor and his associate arrived on the scene, promptly at 10:00 am as promised, he quickly assessed the situation and determined that we would need an additional person for the job. At that point he went out and got their other team member Joe (on a Sunday), who turned out to be a godsend. Between Victor and his associate hauling my belongings down three flights of stairs, and Joe in command of packing my remaining things, the move went off without a hitch. Finally, I want to say that Victor is honest and a man of great integrity. At the beginning of the job, he quoted me a price that was extremely fair. After all of what he and his crew went through on my behalf, I insisted on paying them more, because as I mentioned earlier, he literally saved me. However, had I insisted that he hold to the initial price, he would have done so willingly. If you ever have to make a move, call WDA Movers. You will be as happy as I was. read more

AWESOME movers. We were in a bind and this company was there to help us out. The 3 guys we had were hard working, very methodical in stacking our stuff so that it would all fit into our storage unit. Vic & Lonnie did a great job unloading our 26ft rental moving truck. They put all in our rented storage unit via an elevator and dollies and navigating the corners of an inside storage facility. 2 of the pieces were large and heavy. And it was amazing that they were able to get all into a 12x19 storage unit! We plan to use them again when we're ready to settle into a home. We recommend them! read more

WDA Movers moved my household goods and many items went missing and my furniture was delivered damaged. Further, the movers did not wrap my furniture to protect it nor did they wrap my mattress and box springs. The Department of Transportation ODOT No. 254487...not found; MC No. 256401...inactive and no record found; USDOT No. 3429439...not authorized for interstate for hire carriers. Anotherwords, this company can only move you in the State of Oregon, ONLY. This company does not write contracts so you can insure your belongings nor do they itemize your property on a Bill of Lading. This is not a professional moving company by any stretch. The business is out of an apartment. The website shows a picture of a truck with household goods wrapped and protected. In reality, this company does not handle your belongings that way! Its a total joke folks and an expensive lesson!! read more

Called up Vic and his team, needing to move same week from 2nd floor apt to 3rd floor 15 minutes away. They were happy to help, quick and efficient, wore masks, even helped pack/bag a couple loose things to make it all easier. Whole move was done in a little under 3 hours, with everything down the first stairs and back up the narrow 3 floor stairwell undamaged! Would definitely call them again. read more

Worst moving experience I've ever had. First, they tell you you'll receive a confirmation the night before (never happened). Then the movers were delayed from another move and never showed. After talking to the owner Vic, he said he'd find some back up people. 5 and a half hours later when it was dark out, two movers showed up. They were very sketchy and to boot, one guy started smoking inside my house! He claimed it was just vape but it was disgusting cigarettes which I'm allergic to, and there's no excuse to do that in someone's private home you're moving. Completely unprofessional and sketchy. Oh and they said if I rent through U-haul I'll get free moving blankets and dollies. They arrived with neither. read more

Victor and Jason were great! They arrived on time, worked fast and were extremely careful and helpful. We needed furniture moved upstairs & down & between house and garage. We had a futon that was really tough; they finished taking it apart and even reassembled the part that was problematic once they got it moved. One reason we chose them was, unlike others we talked with, Victor was happy to do a one-hour job and quoted us a very reasonable rate. I hired WDA movers to move my office. The guys came across as really efficient and helpful. At the end of the move, they told me I had to pay them cash. I had not heard that before and I do not run a cash business. It was an office move and I was concerned about not having a check stub for my taxes. They swore they told me it was a cash move but I know that they hadn't as I would not have hired them over their competitor in that case. My fountain didn't work in my new office after the move and the glass on one of my pictures was broken. Everything else was fine and nothing else damaged. My biggest concern was the payment method. If you're going to hire this company to move you, keep in mind they're going to want cash. I felt uncomfortable with that. Are they trying to avoid reporting it? read more

They picked up the 26 ft uhaul at 8 am and loaded up my house and moved me into my nearby house, unloaded and put everything into place and even hooked my washer and dryer. We used WDA Movers when our family moved last month. I chose this moving company because of the previously good reviews and was told by the owner that they could move our 4-bedroom home in four to five hours, much less time than I was quoted by several other companies. Pros: The company confirmed our moving plans the day before they were scheduled and arrived early. The three-man moving crew worked quickly and obviously had experience with moving difficult pieces of furniture (an elliptical machine down a set of narrow stairs, a piano). Cons: Disappointingly, one of our dressers was significantly damaged in the move. When we contacted WDA Movers they were quick to set up a time to view the damage and later repaired the item themselves. The dresser looks fine now, but not perfect as it was before. I also just noticed several scratches on a crib that certainly weren't there before the move. I do appreciate that the company was so eager to repair the damage caused. We originally were told that the damage resulted in us not having obtained enough blankets from U-Haul but we had a number of extra blankets available that were not used. We rented the largest U-Haul truck available but all of our furniture still did not fit (we had already moved the majority of the boxes and miscellaneous items ourselves). My husband and I were fine with enlisting friends to help us with the second load. The significant issue turned out to be that WDA Movers knew not everything would fit before the truck was completely loaded but they did not ensure that all pieces of furniture that had been disassembled were in the truck. One of the primary reasons I chose to hire movers versus doing the move ourselves was that I wanted to save my husband the time and trouble of putting everything together again at our new location. Unfortunately, when WDA Movers unloaded at our new home they were unable to assemble a number of pieces of furniture because they had not ensured that all pieces were included in this first load. We were up until nearly midnight putting together our bed, our daughter's toddler bed and our dining room table. The crew also unloaded everything but didn't necessarily make sure that it was set up, i.e. the washer was set in it's place but we later realized that they hadn't hooked it up, which meant that we had to borrow a dolly to move it ourselves in order to hook it up. They had talked about having another job later in the day and I got the sense that they were ready to unload the truck and get going. Summary: Would not hire this company again. I was hoping for a thorough crew to save our family time and hassle in moving into our new home and what we got was a team of strong guys that moved furniture from point A to point B. If this is what you're looking for, these guys are fast and efficient. If you're really wanting a crew who will cross their t's and dot their i's, keep looking.
