My brother's upright renovated player piano was badly in need of a tuning and had some notes that…read morewould not play. I found Warner's Piano Tuning and he had experience tuning this type of piano. We are so glad we hired him. In my brother's words, "He is a genius! He did exactly what I would have asked him to do." In addition to tuning the piano, and fixing non-playing notes, Mr. Warner also leveled the keys which gives the piano a much more uniform sound and my brother is now able to play music, such as Schumann more adeptly even with his shorter fingers. Mr. Warner also installed a lever under the keyboard which allows switching from normal volume to soft volume. The soft setting sounds like a clavichord. This makes playing Bach's Preludes and Fugues very satisfying. He also installed a covering over the back of piano to further control volume levels, and put castors under all four corners of piano which adds sturdy support. He got a piano bench for my brother that adjusts up and down and matches the color of his piano. Mr. Warner has a lot of knowledge and is very willing to share and explain when he sees interest. He will definitely be hired again!

He showed up and got right to work. He diagnosed a few things that need to be done on our piano and gave a bid if we decide to have them fixed in the future. You have to arrange your own storage and they are poor estimators of how much you will need. They hauled my Mercedes SUV on the truck and it hasn't been functioning properly since. Should have used a car delivery service. Also very expensive and quote was very low. Took multiple requests to get a receipt to submit to my new employer for reimbursement and it is bare bones. In a nutshell, though they seem friendly, it was the worst move of my life and I've moved 7 times as an adult. If I had read a review such as mine, I wouldn't have used them. Perhaps they've gone down in service. They definitely shouldn't have accepted my job though with needing to move into storage. Lesson learned. Good luck on your move!

The first truck never showed up so we were delayed by 24 hours ... Then when the truck actually did show up they had sent the wrong inventory list to the moving compNy that was sub contracted to do the move...that company didn't have enough space on the truck because it had another customers items on it so they put our stuff in storage in the next town over and THEN demanded another $5k or they wouldn't come back and finish the job.
