The rollers and tension spring KGN used was miles ahead in quality ahead of my original door in which made a big difference in the noise level. My dad was a builder and used Overhead Door in Houston, I have used them in three other states, but this location and it's utter lack of responsiveness made it so I took my business elsewhere. I contacted them for specialty residential doors and left three messages with the residential sales rep and no return call. I just don't have time to chase somebody and make them take my money so as I said, I went with another vendor. I probably would've been happier with the Overhead Door product (3 frosted glass 9 foot doors). I was clear in my messages, i was asking for a quote on items worth $15k+, I left my contact information, and zero feedback. I even called the location and asked if the name I had was the correct contact for the residential salesman, was told yes, and was connected to his voicemail. I tried. I have insulated Overhead Doors on my own home. I have had to replace the remote openers and add a keypad. I ordered the products from their national online store so that I knew that I would get responsive service. So, the reason I leaving the review is because as a builder, if I have problems, dealing with a supplier, the standard homeowner will have even more difficulty.

I called Overhead Door and booked an appointment for a technician to look into it. I also had one of their staff talked me through how to get the broken door back down again, so that the garage door was closed while we waited two days for the appointment. No charge for the advice, and it worked. When the day came, Toren showed up, looked at the broken door, started working on it, and within an hour he had it all fixed! No replacement parts needed.
