Wow! Some of the best service I've had in a very long time! Jeff is very friendly, however as I've learned the hard way with other companies, sometimes that doesn't necessarily mean great knowledge. I talked with Jeff over the phone yesterday about some of the issues with our 30+ year old double garage doors, and he came out today to take a look. I'm not one to hire on the spot, but as I spoke to him, I felt confident that he could get the job done efficiently. He set to work this morning, finishing late this afternoon. I'll start by explaining that we had similar work done last year and unfortunately, the work done at that time caused more problems than anything else. We needed to have the garage sealed due to some possible rodent problems - he installed brush seals on both sides, as well as wide rubber seals along the bottom of both doors. As our doors sit a bit strangely due to the way our house sits (and also because they're so old), this was a bit of an undertaking. I'm happy to say that they were fine perfectly. He also filled any areas that were gapping due to home and ground settling, and painted to match (fortunately, I had paint in hand). My kiddos were interested in his work so he even went so far as to let them "assist" a bit. Seriously?! Who does this anymore? Lastly, for the work that was done, he also charged much less than what I expected. Will definitely use him in the future for any repairs or garage door replacement (which, by the way, he didn't even try to convince me that we needed).
