What an amazing company! We cannot begin to say what a GREAT experience it has been to work with this company from start to finish for our new roof. Jacob our estimator was so helpful and a true asset to this roofing company . We would recommend this company 100% and cost was competitive. read more

Choose Huey and Sons based on price and reviews (full disclosure, other companies came in with similar prices and reviews). But reading reviews based on content and not rating gave a slight bump to Huey over the others. Could not be more pleased with the result. The completed roof looks better than I could have imagined and the end price with added material for additional work (which I was very aware would need to be done) was lower than I expected. Thank you for a great job. read more

Spot on time! Courteous crew, worked fast. Did not leave even a speck of debris in the driveway, in the yard or in the gutters. Do not look any further for a roofer. I'd do it again tomorrow (although I'm set now for 30 or so years...) read more

Considerate, professional people; responsive, ethical, lovely workmanship. I love my new roof!

Huey & Sons did an excellent job replacing my roof. The whole experience with them was top-notch. They also redid my skylight and added new vents. The whole experience from getting a quote to reroofing was done professionally. I highly recommend them! read more

A complete new roof with rehabilitation for a manufactured home went just as proposed, all in one day. The crew was efficient, professional and left property cleaner than they found it. Certainly recommend Huey & Sons Roofing. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: Huey & Sons did such a great job with my house I had them do Mamas house! I opted for class 4 with molded ridge caps with synthetic underlayment, had all new flashings (edge and pipe), vents (they added a couple more) (also had a chimney cricket installed, look that one up! I had to) and could not be more pleased with the final outcome! It was pricey but worth the extra $$. It looks marvelous, I know, who looks at the roof? The crew had a tight weather window and "Got Er Done". USE THIS COMPANY! read more

After an inspection or three really, verified that I needed a new roof, I got bids from about 5 companies. Huey & Sons made the most sense and was locally owned with their own crew. Contract was signed & date was set. On a Monday materials were delivered, then Tuesday morning a big crew showed up & went to work. By 6 PM the new roof was installed on the house and garage, good clean-up was done, checked for nails in the grass and it was finished. On Saturday, there was a major downpour and no leaks have appeared. They were very easy to work with and I recommend them highly. read more

They called me to say they did a google maps search and decided that my roof was too steep for them without even coming to my property to see first hand. Mckinzie on the other hand did come out and she I'm waiting for their estimate. read more

This company was great from start to finish. They were fast at getting back to me for a quote and very helpful with letting me know cost. Also up front with pricing for any extra damage that might need repairs once the old roof was removed. I've never had a roof done and they were great about me standing around and asking questions. It was great that they asked me to come up and showed me what was being done and answered my million questions no problem. Project was done in one day. The clean up was awesome. Especially because they had to drop the old roof on the ground and then move it to the dump truck. The way my house sits they couldn't get the dump truck close enough to the house. Cudos to the clean up guy. He worked hard and non stop on this job. I can't give them enough stars for the job they did. It looks amazing. Definitely give them a call for a free quote. You will not be disappointed. read more

Huey & Sons Roofing were one of four companies that we had evaluate the condition of our roof and give us an estimate to replace. They were the best value and use IKO roofing shingles, which our research showed were excellent quality (and the shingles come in a number of different colors and patterns). A week after we signed our agreement the roofing materials were delivered and the following morning a crew of nine arrived and the old roof was removed by late morning and new box vents, vent pipe caps, chimney flashing, and roof sealant were installed. By noon the next day the new roof was installed and thorough cleanup completed. The new roof color and pattern they recommended looks great with the brick on the front of our home. Would highly recommend this company. read more

Huey & Sons Roofing, strongly recommended to me by a neighbor whose roof had recently been installed by them, provided outstanding service from my first phone call until the final walk around. Mr. Sean Woodward gave me a bid that was significantly less than all my other bids. He was consistently kind, polite, and patient with questions, as was Tammy in the office. All documents and communications were sent in a timely manner; Tammy is professional and perfectly organized. Jacob, the crew leader, arrived a bit early on the assigned date, was extremely patient in answering my questions, and was smiling, cheerful, and eager to help. He made helpful suggestions for things of which I had been unaware. The crew was prompt and a genuine pleasure to be with; I always felt safe with them. Every member of the crew worked diligently all day in the hot sun, and cleaned the gardens and other areas around the house beautifully afterward. Jacob returned three days after completion to address a minor issue--one which HE had told me needed to be fixed. Throughout the entire process, this good man demonstrated integrity, professionalism, commitment, and conscientiousness--and always had a beautiful smile. What a wonderful experience--a beautiful new roof and an exceptionally professional, friendly, and hard working crew! They truly went over and above to serve in every way. My heartfelt thanks to this amazing company of dedicated employees. I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Excellent experience! The original bid was solid. Communications throuhout the process were great. The possibility that some wood roofing sheets might have to be replaced was explained up-front, and we did have several that needed to be replaced. It took a day and a half for the whole project, which looks great. Cleanup was super too. read more

What a great roofing company. Their estimate came in better than the other companies. Even had two skylights replaces with estimate. Very professional when the owner came for the estimate. When the scheduled roofing day arrived I was notified a couple of days ahead. The crew was very professional and completed my home in one day. Cleaned up all debris afterwards and even replaced my outside garden lights back in there place. Thank you Huey and sons for a job well done. read more

I couldn't have been more pleased with my selection for roofing, They were honest, and reliable, explained the procedures offering good advice. The crew showed up on time and worked until the job was completed. When I noticed a couple of very minor problems the General manager solved them at once. Now when I need a roof in a couple of decades I will call them. As long as I;m around and them too. read more

I just had my roof replaced by Huey and Sons and I can't recommend them too highly! From the first meeting with Jacob for an estimate to completion, all transactions were smooth and expertly handled. The very favorable estimate covered items I had not thought of (eaves repair, new skylights), and included a formula for calculating contingencies. The crew was prompt and respectful and the office communicated in a friendly and professional manner. The team descended on the roof in a brief window between storms and completed the entire job (including extensive roof repairs) in less than 8 hours and left my property tidier than when they arrived. read more

I had some asphalt shingle type "Ridge Cap" blow off during our last big wind and I only wanted to replace those shingles at this time. We had Huey & Sons Roofing out to re-roof our home awhile back. They were really great to work with. I appreciated the fact that when the old roofing came off, they could see there was water damage in an area I had been concerned with. They made some excellent suggestions about protecting it with an additional layer of protection. My home also had an issue where the contractor made the overhang a little longer than it should have been. That was corrected in the process as well. Fast forward to mid winter and I had a small leak in my kitchen. I don't believe it was because of the roofing job, as it had occurred previously during an addition to our home. Huey & Sons Roofing came right out and took several steps just to make sure it was secure all around that area and didn't charge me for the service. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them. If you need your roof re-done, I would highly recommend their services. read more

Third time working with roofing contractors, this was the best experience by far. Fair quote, delivered excellent work on time and efficiently. Stuck to their quote after the work was done. Highly recommend! read more

A 20 year roof was installed on our home by Huey and Sons. At year 15, we started to notice several leaks. Huey came out to inspect and found that the roofing tiles had plenty of life and that "the roof should not be leaking". There was speculation about laundry detergent used for moss control causing the leaks. I was told once the detergent washed off, the leaks should be gone because the roof is in great shape. This turned out not to be the case after 30 days of rain and the leaks continued. In an email, they acknowledge that the roof failed prematurely an in person that the leaks should not be happening based on the condition of the roof. I had them back out to re-evaluate and the speculation continued. This time it was because the home had lap roofing, but it was also stated that even with lap roofing leaks are very rare. The only solution offered was for me to replace the roof at full cost, thereby shifting the entire burden to me. There was not an attempt to offer some sort of discount for repeat business, or to contact the roofing tile manufacturer to see if there was a recall on their product. Having installed the roof, I was hoping to hear that they stood behind their work or at least made an attempt to make things right on a new install by offering some modicum of a discount on a roof that only lasted 75% of it's life. Instead, I got acknowledgement that: 1) This should not be happening 2) The roof failed prematurely 3) Sucks to be you- we recommend you put on a new roof. They had an opportunity to earn a customer for life by just making things right. Terrible customer service. read more

They finished our roof in one day! First of all, the guys were quiet - a big plus in my book - and worked as a perfect team quickly and safely. The roof looks amazing, and I'm very, very happy with their performance. Also, the office staff was so pleasant and answered all my many questions. A good, professional company. read more

We had a wonderful experience with this company! They were able to complete our job in 2 days, and were really great to work with. We had to reschedule due to rain, but they were able to fit us in as soon as it cleared up. They arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up very well afterwards. Our new roof is a big improvement over the old roof, and they replaced 3 skylights, too. The crew communicated well, too, so we knew what to expect, and when. We highly recommend them! read more

Huey & Sons Roofing recently put a brand new roof on our home. We were very happy with their knowledge, experience, and attention to detail. Marty gave us a very accurate estimate, and Chris was here at the beginning of the work day to make sure all would go smoothly. The workers were good at cleaning up the mess and I commend them on an overall outstanding job. I would highly recommend them over any other roofing company in the area. read more

First the good. They finished our roof in one day. I wasn't here when they left so I didn't look over their work until the following day. When I did, I saw that they had replaced some of the flashing on the front of the house. The roof is a dark, almost black with a reddish cast. Our house is a grayish green and the original flashing on the rest of the roof is a dark gray. The flashing they replaced is a yellowish, baby poop tan color and sticks out like a sore thumb. My neighbor even commented on it. I called their office and requested they send someone out to look at it. They sent Shawn and when we looked at it together, he said that it must have been that color before because they don't replace the flashing and beside, it would be too difficult to replace at this point. We've lived in this house since new, 23 years and I've repainted it once so I know every square inch and I know unequivocally that all of the flashing on the house was dark gray. I even have pictures that show it was dark gray. Besides, who builds a new house and uses two contrasting colors of flashing on the front of the house?! He suggested that I paint it gray to match the rest of the flashing on the house. Bottom line, he refused to change the flashing they had replaced, so we're stuck. We also had to replace some shrubs that they threw shingles on when they were removing the original roof. For these reasons, I do not recommend Huey & Sons if you're looking for a roofer. read more

Recently called to set up a an appointment for a roof estimate. The estimator showed up on time, and was quite pleasant to deal with. We had just purchased the house, and had been told that our roof might need replacement in the near future. When the estimator arrived, he inspected the roof, and much to our surprise informed us we still had a few years of life remaining in it. We of courses were very happy with this news, and were very thankful for their honesty. We would highly recommend Huey and Sons read more

Recently replaced our roof, and went with these folks, who gave us the lowest (by far) bid. They arrived promptly, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They tore off the old roof and put on the new one in 6 hours!
