Wow. I have been to several u-cut Christmas tree places over the years and this experience was the tops! Plenty of trees to choose from and the service is amazing. All are very friendly. They give twine (always helpful) and all the necessary tools to cut and haul the tree for bailing (included). They are taking appointments which controls the crowds and limits contact. Excellent experience!

We had a great experience at Buttonwood Farms. There is a nice selection of a variety of trees in a range of sizes, although smaller trees prevail. There are still plenty of trees in the 6-8 ft range and even taller to choose from. The staff was super friendly and helpful and our kids enjoyed the cookies. Best of all, the location is outstanding for anyone who is looking to cut their own tree without leaving the Eastside.

We had THE best time picking out our tree here! They have a great selection of trees of all sizes. They even helped us measure and cut down our tree. We will definitely be coming back!

Awesome place with huge selection of trees and great guys that help! A lot is clearly marked with type and size of the trees. We picked a huge 12 foot turkish fir, so one of the guys actually came with a chain saw and helped to cut it down. Great place and no need to drive far to get a perfect tree!

Huge selection of quality trees at an affordable place. The staff on hand were very helpful. Betsy and Brian were super friendly and helpful getting our tree on our car and providing hot chocolate :) Will definitely come back next year to get our tree!

Loved buying our tree at this brand new business that has 13,000 organic trees! Friendly folks helped us the minute we drove up, handed us a map showing Grand Firs, Turkish, Colorado Blue Spruce, etc. We went with a 6-foot Grand Fir because they are super fragrant. We didn't want to cut it down, so employee Jason did it for us. They put it through the netting and put it on our car while we trotted off for cocoa and cookies. Got 20% off for signing up for their U-cut club, which brought the price to $74. Pretty good for a thing that has been growing for 6 years! We are now ready for our Christmas/pagan/agnostic holiday celebration.

This was our first time buying a Christmas tree and the staff was super helpful and answered all of our questions. They provide saws, snacks and helpful pricing charts. Would definitely come here again especially with the sheer variety of trees they had.

Love that it's family owned! Free cookies and hot cocoa! Friendly staff and since my mom wanted to pick a tree but didn't want to take it home yet we got to tree tag it!! (:

I was so impressed with Buttonwood. The family is outstandingly gracious and super helpful. They have a great selection of many different types of trees. The best part was the grass lawn under the trees. I'm so used to trudging through the mud and stumbling all over. The whole place was well organized and super fun. So glad we found you. Welcome & we will surely be back next year!

    Gorgeous tree!

Gorgeous tree farm! So magical walking through the rows with my husband. Great deal and our first real tree! They can cut it and tie it on for you too...you don't need to have a rack on top of your car. :)

    Such great service!

Picked this farm thanks to great reviews on Yelp. There was a huge selection of trees to pick from -heights and types. Service was friendly and fast. We'll make it an annual tradition and be back next year.

    My favorite tree yet.

If you want to feel like you drove OUT of the city to find a tree, but you didn't actually have to, this place is great! We have three little kids and too much time in the car isn't ideal for us. The people were friendly right away. Most of the staff is young HS age kids but very polite, friendly, and helpful. The FREE cookies, treats, and hot cocoa were great for our kiddos, although the hot cocoa isn't super great tasting - it did the trick (watered down). I give this place 4 stars because while the map of the trees was super helpful, there was no price range on it. So we weren't totally sure how much our tree would cost. I assumed $80-90 for a 9 foot tree - but was very surprised it was a whopping $142!! I would have bought a smaller tree, but as we pulled in they informed us we could only cut 7' or above... not ideal for us as far as price. The parking to load the tree is also a little tricky but it worked out. All in all this place is great - not too big, easy to find a beautiful tree, helpful and friendly staff, free and yummy treats, a good experience overall. We'd go back except for the pricing. --------- REVISION- with all my talk about price it is now December 23rd and I have to say that this tree is STILL beautiful. It has barely dried and there is almost zero wilting of the branches. It is the most we've ever paid for a tree, but it is the best and most healthy tree we've ever had! It may totally be worth the cost.

Gorgeous day to cut down a Christmas tree!

I have gotten a Christmas tree here every year for as long as I can remember. The owners are a…read morelocal family and are really nice. They have pre-cut trees here, but the big draw for a lot of people is the u cut lot. It used to be that u cut trees were quite a bit cheaper than precut trees, but now I think the prices are pretty much the same across the board wherever you go. Even though it's no longer a big money saver, I think a lot of people do u cut for the experience as it's fun and not something you can do in all climates/parts of the country. Plus, you get a guaranteed fresh tree. The farm added a reservation system a couple years back for ucuts (it's basically just an evite-type RSVP link on their website--free to sign up) that opens in the middle of November. This has really helped with crowd management as the area's population has grown so much over the years. The whole operation is down to an exact science: traffic controlled parking lot, scan your QR code to get a saw, find your tree, take the tractor flatbed back if you don't want to carry the tree all the way, trim/shake/bail (nominal fee for bailing), an employee will help you carry it to your vehicle if you want, and then pay in the shed. They hire an incredible number of seasonal employees for the couple weeks of tree season to keep things running smoothly. I didn't think of this til a couple years ago, but noticed a lot of people tip the person who helps carry your tree - they're mostly high schoolers so $5 is probably a bigger deal to them than it is to you. The checkout area carries some additional merchandise: tree stands, wreaths, some ornaments, etc. They also have free apple cider and candy canes for the kids (and adults) The farm also has a pumpkin patch and maybe some other activities in the fall. Anyways, this year was probably my last year getting a tree here for a while. My family has aged to a point that a tree no longer really makes sense, and I live somewhere that I have no space for a tree. I'm sad that I won't get to continue this annual tradition in the near future, but hopefully one day I'll be able to make it back

We were so excited to go cut down our tree on the day after Thanksgiving. I did my research, got a…read morereservation ahead of time, then ventured north to the farm. At 2pm there were so few trees available, we walked around in circles, in disbelief. We then considered a precut tree, but they were all huge! Well over 8 feet tall, so they wouldn't fit in our house. There was nothing festive or charming about the place -- just a parking nightmare and we left empty handed. Don't waste your time coming here. So sad.
