This is me in the u-cut farm with one of their hand saws and a cup of free hot apple cider.

For 2020 we decided to get into the Christmas spirit and get our first real, full-sized Christmas tree! After doing some research online, we chose McMurtrey's Red-Wood Christmas Tree Farm in Redmond. They have an informative website and they keep their Facebook page up to date, so you should definitely check those out before going. We went on the first day of the season (the day after Thanksgiving). We started by visiting the refreshments stand. You can get a free cup of hot cocoa or hot apple cider and a candy cane. Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I chose this place. :-) They have a bunch of pre-cut trees in the front, but we decided to try to cut down our own. We took one of their hand saws and started looking for the perfect tree. We didn't go very far, but it was fun figuring out which one we wanted. It was really easy to cut the tree down (the wood is soft) and my husband just carried the tree back to the front. One of the workers immediately started helping us. They have a machine that shakes the loose needles from your tree, which is a free service. They can also bale your tree for $4. That means they wrap it up in a net so it is easier to transport. The worker also carried the tree to our car and placed it on our roof, so you might want to have some tip money handy. We then paid for our tree, but the line was really long, so it might be nicer if you pay first and then get your tree. That way you can just take off when they load your car. The u-cuts all cost the same amount. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and we love our tree (we named him Doug). We look forward go going back next year!

Cut little place for our pumpkin patch adventure! Lots of room to roam and just enjoy picking out a pumpkin. While the weather didn't really agree with us that day (smoke made the air quality terrible), it was so nice to see the beautiful scenery

Plenty of great trees still available! And great to see the staff creating the environment to be Covid-safe. This was my first time to the Farm and was pleasantly surprised by the festive atmosphere with hot chocolate and cider, attentive staff, and the feeling of excitement in the air for finding that perfect Christmas Tree for the family. I'd never been on a Farm like this before and it's worth it to come just for the experience of walking the Farm and smelling all the Christmas trees and seeing families on their hunt to find one. They also have a special machine that allows you to take your tree home wrapped, which I wouldn't have believed existed unless I had seen it with my own eyes! They still have many perfectly home sized fresh-cut Douglas firs waiting for you to purchase if you are still looking. Overall, a special place nestled right in the heart of Redmond!

We had 2 people comment on how cute it was! (The tree-not my husband. Although I think he's precious :) )

Finished a wine tasting at Chateau St Michelle and decided to finally get our tree on Dec 22nd, 2019. Quick 6 minute drive. Helpful associates. And a pretty big selection considering it was going to be the last day they were open for 2019! (But nothing was discounted). They lady I talked to said "they close at dark". And we got our tree at 4:25. Really quick and easy! We didn't even need to bail our little guy (we got a 3ft-Er). Would totally recommend this place!

Our regular tree farm was closed and this place was the only option without driving too far. These are precut trees and maybe that's why the prices seemed higher than last year when we went to our usual. However, this place is OK. I will say some of the staff will try to sell you any tree. One person tried to tell me that a tree which had a majority of dry leaves was very healthy and was just going through a growth spurt. Maybe. But I had never heard that before. Regardless we found a tree that my kids picked. We probably won't go back next year because we enjoy cutting the tree. However it's a great spot if you want a precut tree.

Our tree, all lit up for Christmas

What a magical Christmas tree experience! It's honestly an entire event. Beautiful farm, with the most gorgeous trees! And an indoor stand of gorgeous wreaths that are fully decorated. Plus, they have caramel corn for purchase and a complimentary hot cocoa/apple cider stand for kids of all ages (including this 40 year old!). It was a dream. I happened to immediately cross paths with this wonderful woman working there (who looked like a beautiful Christmas Elf), decked out in a holiday sweater and fabulous Christmas ornament earring, who I think was the owner or manager. She told us about the different trees, I looked up, and it was like I was suddenly Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation seeing my tree with a beam of light shining down on it. She agreed it was a honey of a tree and a real beaut, and so there we had it! They shake out your tree and then put it through a machine to wrap it up, carry it out for you, and do it all with the spirit of a good old fashioned family Christmas. I think our tree was $110 and the large decorated wreath was $55, so it was honestly a great value for the experience and quality. We will definitely be back next year!

At first this was in Woodinville/Redmond and it was a bright warm sunny day in the beginning of October! They have a BEAUTIFUL sunflower field and it was so nice to go through. They had some games like bowling pins and checkers/chess. They also had pumpkins in the field and for sale. They had a small gift shop/market to purchase additional goods. The haystack and pumpkins for photo ops are so cute! Recently, I went to their lavender farm and flower market at this address. I was worried about parking when I had passed by last time but relieved enough, it's a big enough parking lot! They have a coffee shop truck and a couple of food trucks with food! The staff is so friendly and briefly walked through where to pluck and cut some lavender and wildflowers for your own bouquets to purchase. They also had vendors such as freeze dry candy, jewelry, wooden items and other items. The fields are beautiful and they have names for each of the different lavenders. Perfect for kids, families and even dogs! Nice photo ops and even better weather! Perfect for summer!

They had campfire sites sprinkled throughout the central area where you could buy smores supplies and make a smore after pumpkin hunting. They had a few snacks and a hot and cold cider available. Tickets to the corn maze were available at the purchase desk, and there were also lots of great photo stands around in case you felt like being a pumpkin-head. It was very well thought out as far as it being a one-stop family autumn fun festival. They had two large patches with multiple varieties of pumpkin types with varying ranges in size, color, and shape. As is customary for me, I found the wartiest, ugliest one for myself, and the husband of mine found the biggest and most pristine. If you didn't want to cut your own, they have many displays you can sample from. Prices were displayed based on relative size, which I like way more than the trouble of weighing. Overall, it was a fun holiday experience.

The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. The scent hit us--warm, sweet, and sun-soaked and in that instant, we knew we were exactly where we were meant to be. No one can convince me there's a better smell on this planet than fresh strawberries in the summer breeze. Not rain, not bread, not even raspberries--though those came in close second. Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother. Still, nothing compares to stepping out of the car and into that scent. Bailey's Farm gives you more than berries--it gives you a reason to breathe deeper. And I already can't wait to go back.
