Went there for pumpkin patch and it was fun! We entered late after the sunset, hence most of the activities were closed. But we did a super fun pumpkin maze and it was an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this place to have good time with friends and family, but make sure you reach there in the day to fully enjoy all the offerings.

    Small pumpkins priced $1-3

Out of all the Pumpkin Patches that I've visited during my lifetime, this one was the least impressive overall. In the heart of fall season, I decided to visit Craven Farm with a couple of friends. The location of the parking lot was very crowded and poorly designed as it had confusing one-ways and small spaces. Moreover, the entire parking lot was muddy and slippery during this time. The entry way was cutely decorated with pumpkin decor and displays. The entire pumpkin patch was pretty sizeable but it was crowded and there were no wheelbarrows in sight for us to use. There were many people, however it seemed to be socially distanced properly. There's a small barn area near the pumpkin patch that has some small farm animals for family viewing, however it smelled and was pretty muddy as well. The seating area only included a couple of benches and picnic tables. The lime for the food/snack bar was pretty long and we ultimately ended up getting funnel cakes at a price of $6. Ultimately, I probably would not come back to this particular pumpkin patch just because it seemed unimpressive and unorganised in general. Also, the pumpkins were priced similarly to other pumpkin patches that I've been to.

Being the grown-up big kid who's OBSESSED with all things fall, this place was heaven. They really did SUCH an amazing job with this place - the decor was gorgeous. Delicious apple cider donuts - most of the food booths were closed but they had a couple donuts things open like a corn dog stand and espresso stand. The shop also sold food. Booths that were closed were the kettle corn, cheese curds. Plenty of activities: baby animal section, games, corn mazes, a huge pumpkin field, shops, drinks and food, lots of cute photo ops. And it is FREE!! It gets CROWDED (we came on Friday evening) but it's so worth.

We loved this family farm. It is small and feels just like a family run operation should. I like that it was small enough that you can keep an eye on kiddos. The food selection was best I've seen. The kitchen is hard at work making fresh pumpkin and apple cider donuts all day and they are worth the wait! Animal tent was fun for the baby and she saw little kittens! Would be really fun to go under the stars at night. This is a good old fashioned farm worth a visit.

A bit short for the corn maze!

We used to visit Craven Farm every year for the first 8-years of our daughter's life with other friends who had kids around the same time. Then came soccer, dance, skiing etc. When we visited in the late 1990's through early 2000's, Craven was small, family run and homey. Wow, what a difference 15 years makes! It is a big deal during the fall season. The line of cars to get in was at least a mile long, it went fairly quick as the parking lot attendants were handling the crowd very well. It has grown in many ways while still maintaining a homey feel. We loved that they have added private fire pit areas, not sure how many, that you can rent by the hour. For our group of young adults on the spectrum, it was quiet and away from the frenzy. Each private fire pit area comes with a 10'x20' canopy with two large picnic tables underneath, a large garbage can, and 2 picnic tables closer to the fire pit, uncovered. There is an attendant that keeps the fire going and will carry all of your gear in and out for you. Loved that you can bring in your own coolers, food, and drink. Helpful when you are with a bunch of people that are incredibly picky. I read a previous review about the lack of beverages, we didn't find that to be the case. Yes, there was a lot of apple cider, and in different combinations, however there was also soda, hot chocolate, and bottled water for purchase. The clam chowder and bbq pulled pork sandwiches were popular with the dad's in the group. We selected the 2nd Saturday in October (10/16) to go, it was right after the heavy rain, luckily it had stopped the night before but it was still very muddy, as expected. There were still a lot of pumpkins to pick from in the "patch" and some of the group selected from the patch while a few others went with the pre-selected choices close to the cashiers. Sadly the line was way too long at the donuts, but they smelled great! Everyone that was working the activities when we were there were masked, and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. Overall, the outing with this group was a great success! Thank you Craven Farm!

Craven Farm offers some great activities for a fun weekend in October! At Craven, there are the class pumpkin patch and corn maze. There is also an apple canon, pumpkin slingshot, rubber duck race, hayride, mini gold, human foosball, and farm animals! I didn't participate in the apple canon, but it sounded and looked pretty fast! It can be a quite entertaining to shot one of those apples along with the pumpkin sling shot. The rubber duck race cost $3 for the price of the rubber duck and you race it on the water pump area. There is no one manning the rubber duck station since you buy the duck at the cashier area. Though there are people that leaves their rubber duck, so you can practically race for free. Definitely not worth $3 for the duck, but can be fun for younger kids. The farm animal was a little sad. The animals look fine, but there was only 2 calves, kittens, a rabbit, and a goat. There wasn't much to the farm and you couldn't really pet them. The main attraction, the pumpkin patch was okaaaay. Most of the nice pumpkins were in the back and the field up front was either picked out or the pumpkins were smashed/rotting. The prices of the pumpkins are not by weight, but by size. There is a row of pumpkins lined up near the cashier that gives you a general idea of what your pumpkin might cost. It's actually quite expensive and you could get them cheaper a store or at another pumpkin patch. I think the range goes from $8-30. There area already pre-selected pumpkins in the main area. Pumpkins that are used for cooking and little tiny ones. The corn maze was also okaaaaay. It wasn't a trivia maze nor were there questions in the maze. It was themed Alice in Wonderland, and there are signs that says "this way" or "that way" and you pick. There is a more advanced trail and an easier trail to find the exit. I like mazes when there are questions or a purpose, so this maze was a little lack luster. The concept was to find these three rooms and then the exit. Though it is a pretty big maze, 15 races! The trail wasn't that super muddy and nicely maintained. Overall, it's a pretty nice farm with various activities. The corn maze wasn't my preface, but still good! For free admission to this farm, it's fun!

I worked an event here at Craven Farm. Beautiful layout and wonder people to work with. Indoor and Outdoor gathering options. Drive to location was easy and not too far away. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to rent space for a special day.

Lots of cars in the parking lots on a weekend, but the farm is big and doesn't feel too crowded. There's lots of pumpkins and a bunch of photo stops. Tried the slides, zip-line, basketball, and the small tractor tow around the dirt course. Was fun. Bob's is known for their large corn maze. The adult maze is on the other side of the road, and you get their by taking the hay ride. More pumpkins and sunflower field on that side too. The maze is pretty big. Took me 20 minutes to walk out following the map. Probably takes 1-2 hours if you don't use the map. As for food, they have mini donuts, cider, burger, pizza, chicken tenders. Tried the mini donuts which were fresh and tasted pretty good. They have pumpkin and apple cinnamon flavors. Overall I enjoyed the experience, as an adult. All the kids there seem to be having a good time. Fall festival tickets not that cheap but most of the other farms charge similarly.

The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. I will definitely be back with my husband and daughter to enjoy picking some more fruit.

The scent hit us--warm, sweet, and sun-soaked and in that instant, we knew we were exactly where we were meant to be. No one can convince me there's a better smell on this planet than fresh strawberries in the summer breeze. Not rain, not bread, not even raspberries--though those came in close second. Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother. Still, nothing compares to stepping out of the car and into that scent. Bailey's Farm gives you more than berries--it gives you a reason to breathe deeper. And I already can't wait to go back.

I would highly recommend sharing and if you're still hungry, it's an excuse to try more food! The mac n' cheese was our favorite food, and our favorite drink had to be the cider slushy. I love hot apple cider, but their new cider slushy was so refreshing and apple-y. All the prices are reasonable too given how much food you get. For this farm, some activities are completely free if you just want to visit, such as their pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and country store. I crashed at least three other gatherings as I was being directed from one place to another. Whoops. Anyways, I finally found my group and we picked apples. I like how they had labels on each row of trees to identify the cultivar. It also turns out that they put a few crabapples in each row for pollination purposes, but they're very obviously not to be picked as the fruits are small. Apples were $3.50/lb, but slightly cheaper if you buy them pre-picked. The fresh apples taste much better than the ones in grocery stores, which can be stored for up to a year in warehouses. I was surprised to find the fresh apples were more crisp with thinner skin! I got a cider doughnut before I left, and it was so soft, tender, and pillowy! There was great apple flavor.
