CORT is a great company to work with in general. They are the "big dog" in the area but can be very personable and connected to even the smallest orders. We recently had a floor plan snafu where (after the dance floor was already completely set) the bride wanted the floor at a completely new location. I have set dance floors in the past and was completely willing to do it alone, but Jamar and Jasmine stayed anyways to reset exactly where the bride wanted it. Cort is a bad actor. DO NOT USE THEM. We put a large tent on hold. Our Deposit decision on tent was due 10 days prior to event. We lost our deposit because we didn't get back to Cort "fast enough" when we rethought the cancellation. Then the jerks wanted us to pay a second $2500 deposit plus the additional $5000 tent fee. We had to rent party furniture for an event at our place and came upon Cort party rentals on yelp. They have a lot of options at very nominal rates and a very flexible policy. We had to reschedule the event by a day and add a few more items to the rental and they let us do it at no additional cost. However they didn't have the bandwidth to deliver for our dates which turned out to be a huge task for us. We had to rent a uhaul truck and pick up and drop off the furniture. I hope they can offer delivery services, even if it is at an additional cost, in the future. read more

Rented a few tables for an event and they made it simple, fast and affordable. One of the tables had a wobble (there's always one!) but otherwise, they were fine. One of the guys who helped load them seemed to be having a bad day or maybe the dreads hanging in his eyes were annoying him as much as they annoyed me. Same guy helped unload them and still had the dreads but was smiles and having a better day. read more

Horrible! We used ABC for our large scale company event. We spent $400+ on a grill for the event. It was dropped off by ABC, who did not assemble the grill on site. We put it together, but it would only lite for a moment. When we finally got the whole grill to lite up there was little heat coming from the extremely small flames. After 20 minutes of trying we called ABC who told up to take it apart and put it back together and informed us that no one would be coming out to help us, because they don't have enough resources for that. We tried for a total of 45 minutes before calling them again and asking them to pick it up; we then had to rush to the store for coals and lighter fuel, because they offered us no help at all! When the driver, arrived he turned on one burner and showed us that it worked. Well of course it works on ONE burner, but when spread over 6 it still did not. We had to pay ABC by check in advance (I now understand why they do that...). They refuse to give us our money back, stating that we are wrong and that it did work. In addition to all of this, the woman on the phone was rude and extremely unhelpful. I can't even imagine how horrible this would have been if it had been my wedding... read more

I used ABC for a dinner party I was having this past weekend for about 40 guests to celebrate my sons Bar Mitzvah. The party was low key, and intimate, the rental stuff should have been easy peesy, but, it wasn't it was a totally negative experience. I had Eric as my sales person. Apparently, Eric has been with the company for years and really know's his stuff. But, Eric must have forgotten all that he know's as he failed to mention, what the company has to offer, when everything would be delivered, when everything was going to be picked up, how everything should be cleaned etc, he ordered the wrong number of dishes, forgot to send the napkins we discussed, and when I called to chat with him about the tent I was thinking of using, he treated me like I was the annoying customer who calls everyday with pesky problems. He was condescending, patronizing and frankly, unprofessional. I was thinking about Eric's bizarre behavior this morning, when I was cleaning up after my party, and then it dawned on me, Eric doesn't like people who have Bar Mitzvahs (you can figure it out from here) Don't waist you time with this company, go to AA Party rentals, I wish I would have. read more

We had a great experience renting from Cort. They were responsive and gave us a great quote from the start, and the delivery and set up was great! We had a really quick turnaround time but they were able to accommodate no problem. Michele especially was super helpful and kind, and we appreciated her help! The thing I would have changed was that we ordered the wrong size table cloths and I guess I assumed that when sending the quote they would confirm we ordered the things that made sense and would work with us to let us know. We didn't really have any idea. That may have been my own fault as I didn't ask them to review it nor did I call to discuss everything, we only put in the quote online and assumed it was all correct. Still we really appreciated their help and service! The online catalog and quote system is definitely a great feature and we received a quote faster than expected. We used abc rentals for our wedding and they forgot half of the items we ordered!!! They brought the wrong plates, didn't bring enough tables - the ones they brought were dirty, they didn't bring wine and champagne glasses and didn't bring napkins!!! After calling them multiple times they delivered a few of the missing items to the hotel where my family stayed - for them to deliver to Skykomish ( where the wedding was) at the end we got overcharged for items we never received and they are not willing to refund anything - even though we didn't get those items!! I used ABC for a birthday party recently. I didn't have a huge order, but did get tables, linens, glassware and a bar. I was impressed with Joanna's professional and helpful attitude. Their prices are fair as long as you pick up yourself (delivery is expensive). But the tabletops look horrible. They were scratched, we got splinters and had to spend money to cover them so they looked decent. read more

We hired ABC Rentals to provide a grill for our wedding; our caterer was making burgers and hot dogs and doesn't supply their own. Originally, this seemed like a simple transaction - we easily identified the grill we needed via our caterer and ABC Rentals would provide it, along with a propane tank. Our first problem came when reviewing the contract. We knew we might need a tent to cover the grill, in case it rained. ABC Rentals was happy to rent us a tent as well, except that their own contract stated that we would be charged for any damage to their tent, including damage from grill smoke. Needless to say, we were happy to catch that clause. We ended up purchasing a tent instead, which was cheaper than the rental price anyway! Our second frustration occurred a few weeks before our wedding. ABC Rentals decided to unexpectedly discontinue rental pickups from their Tukwila location. This is despite our signed contract indicating that the Tukwila location was where we could drop off and pick up the grill. After a couple phone calls, we got them to make an exception. However, we didn't need this aggravation. Fortunately, the grill did function as promised and pickup and dropoff at their location was easy. read more
