I wasn't really feeling well and couldn't enjoy it as much as I intended to, but it was nevertheless yummy and unique. My sandwich came with a side of puffed up chips (I actually don't know what they are called). The plantains were also very good. They didn't seem to have anyone on staff taking care of the place, so the two tables that were empty when we arrived were extremely dirty (we cleaned one ourselves). They also didn't have napkins readily available and only 2 individual restrooms, despite having a bar in the back. Also, it was SO DARK inside... Scarce lighting which was not very pleasant or welcoming, especially since the sun was shining brightly outside. There is an outdoor patio, which is great, however because the weather was nice it was completely full. Final thoughts: this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner with a group of friends, especially if no one can agree on where to go. There's a variety of options and something for everyone to enjoy!

There is one particular roll called a Bolillo that we've looked for in several Mexican neighborhoods; in the northeast. It looks like a small French bread; very popular in Mexico City. Spoke to the owner and it was a little late in the day for them. Most are sold to restaurants. I have to be back in Poughkeepsie Monday. She's going to save a half a dozen for me. The place looks very clean and well organized. I noticed that they had off to the side, the tongs and pizza serving trays. Go to any bakery in CDMX, and you'll see the same thing. It kind of gives the place authenticity. The weekend has passed and we're here for the Bolillos. The owner had a 1/2 dz. of them aside for us. 6 for $6. very reasonable.
