First visit at Buster's Place and this is our experience. We went in on Saturday and was told by the hostess to sit anywhere, I guess we were the lucky ones cuz I happen to pick a very wobbily table. Come on guys, how hard is it to fix the table? It was so wobbily that we changed tables. The decor was a bunch of random things that were destined for a yard sale in the near future. Maybe add the table to it! We ordered hamburgers, fries and onion rings. Most of the food was good but the buns on the hamburger were staled and not appetizing. The burger itself was not very flavorful nor juicy. It was in need of more salt and pepper for sure! I was really hoping for a better burger, Also, the plates that they serve the food on are way too small! The service was fast and friendly, I will note. I really wish it was a better experience because I love to support the locals but this place is missing the mark. read more

This place is a long time staple of Murfreesboro. The burgers are still freshly made after you order them and fixed just the way you order. The fries are still great and you get a decent size order of them. In recent years they have slightly expanded their menu so there is some variety. Service is good and the whole staff is nice. Earlier today, we picked up four dozen wings and paid a pretty penny for them along with a side order of fried green tomatoes. Had Buster's ordered from UberEats yesterday and it was pretty good! Food was still hot and fresh when I got it. I ordered their single patty burger and the half dozen wings with side of jalapeno ranch. Let me say, probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long while! The patty was seasoned phenomenally and greasy but not drenched by any means while the bun was perfectly soft with a hint of sweetness. I will say I also ordered a little bit of mayo (which ended up being a big glob) and lettuce (which looked more like an accidental sprinkling of it on the bottom of the sandwich and ended up being flimsy and absorbed all the grease). I'm a 'toppings at the top of the sandwich' kind of guy so that was disappointing not to have the crunchy texture of the lettuce. The wings were pretty damn good. I thought I would be disappointed with them being purely smoked without any choice of being covered in sauce, but the wings are so well smoked and decently flavorful on their own. The jalapeno ranch sauce was amazing as it had that touch of spice I wanted and really went well with the wings. Overall, I'd say 4/5 as the food itself was flavorful and filling but a couple of details in the execution, the flavor, and the fact that fries don't come with a burger that's pretty costly on its own. No one is complaining here! This place has really great servers who are very attentive to your needs. We enjoyed our meal. The wings were wonderful they are very meaty! The wings are lightly sauces and I believe are more liKe a smoked dry rub. Overall the atmosphere was cool, I like the lights I on the ceiling and decor. I suggest you stop here to try a bite to eat! This is a hidden gem! If you like burgers and fries a must try in Murfreesboro. It is not much to look at on the outside and somewhat a hole in the wall. Themed like a biker bar but do not let that scare you away. I saw people from all walks of life. Hand pattied burgers and crinkle cut fries. We are planning on going back to try more things will be hard to pass up one of those great burgers though. Restaurant is clean food great they do have a bar but only serve beer not a full bar. For some reason, I have not been to this restaurant in over 20 years. It is right on my way home everyday, yet I have not stopped. Back in the day, they were known for their burgers. They were a bit greasy but very tasty back then. Then the restaurant changed hands. I guess we just lost interest. Boy, was I glad I went back today! The burgers today are nothing like the past. They are wonderful. I ordered the hamburger steak - 3/4 pounds, no bun, served with sauteed onions. The meat had a great flavor, and did not leave a grease puddle on the plate. I also had the smoked chicken wings and they were great. They were nice and smokey, properly cooked, and delicious. My friend had the pork chop sandwich and said it was nice and tender. We've been seeing stories on Tennessee crossroads and such for a long time touting this place, especially their burgers. So, we made the trip today from west Nashville to try it. We both ordered burgers and one side. The service was fantastic, the beer was cold, unfortunately, the burger was dry. Otherwise it was a good burger, nice bun, good toppings and so forth, but no juice, no fat, and consequently almost no flavor. The signs say "the best burger in the boro", I'm very sad for the residents of the Boro if this is all you've got. I give this place fairly high marks for the ambiance and the employees. read more

We've been looking for the best burger in town for a while and I'm a little upset this place just got on our radar! It's a delightful "hole in the wall", with a full parking lot, great service and delicious food! Went with my mom, she had their special burger of the day, which she loved and I had their pimento cheese and bacon burger. We ordered onion rings and fries and Diet cokes of course. The place is homey, friendly and not what I expected - each table has serve yourself paper towels, cokes are brought in frosted super cold can with a glass of ice. The decor is fun, and unique - we couldn't tell if this was a bar or a burger place, but it seems like a Friday night would be fun, and loud here. We'll be back. read more

(Sign over the bar: I made a deal with the bank; They won't sell beer and I won't loan money.) Lots of long time customers/regulars. Felt like Cheers, Southern style. No printed menus. It's limited and it's on the wall. Fantastic Burger. (Yes, I capitalized, "Burger", but it deserves to be.) Hand formed, probably an inch thick. Juicy and delicious. Not awesome, but definitely a great bar-burger, no doubt. Also, I had the chili which was perfect for the cold day. They have large TV's, so I might consider going back for a game sometime. Where do I start. First off for the French fries way over priced for the 7-8 grease bombs on the coffee sauser. Secondly there food standards are heathen at worst dangerous at best. Not impressed buy the line cook that handles raw meat and cooked meat with out gloves or washing his hands. Wiping plates on there shirts or aprons. I could go on for several pages.
