The sweet potato fries were inedible due to the salt they were doused with. I will, however, recommend the house fried chips with onion dip and it was a shame to have to leave it since there was so much of it. It probably would be great in place of mayo on a burger. I also observed 5-6 people wandering in and out of the back that weren't wearing uniforms but seemed to know everyone as they stood around chatting. Why??? Not very professional for food service. One young man in particular kept running his hand thru his long hair as he stood near the staff area for drinks and the pass. Ugh! There was also another guy with hair down to his waist that was pulled back but man!, that ponytail was swinging loose everywhere from the kitchen to the bar. Again, ugh! Neither of those would I want near where my food was being prepared. The menu is a fun looking and eclectic mess but we won't be back. First complaint is there is no guidance for people who are from out of town on how to order or where to go. I have been watching the out of town parents confused as well trying to figure this place out! The iPads set up to order are not sales leading or helpful. When we picked up our coffees is when we FOUND the full menus to read (AFTER we ordered). Not only did they lose sales but we did not see any meat options to add to our order! The lattes tried were a make your own and are better than Starbucks. I had the regular with sweetener (had to ask for a little more sweetener as you can not choose more than one of the same item) and prefer a light to no foam but it is not an option. The second option was the golden girl with honey and cinnamon. Good but different. The first food was the Susie Basic ($11 +$0.50 for strawberries) the crepe that is too thick for a traditional crepe, did not come filled with the strawberries or anything else it was just folded into quarters and topped with the equivalent of 4/5 whole strawberries and whipped cream on the side. The second food item was the French toasted waffle pancake ($15) this is a great concept but it was under cooked and doughy but more than enough food for a meal. It would have been better with a breakfast meat included! Over all the rating is a 3 because of service, the confusion, and the immediately asking for a tip when you order not knowing you really get no service before or after you get food! Even water is a self serve dispenser! It's a great place, different concept in food service. It wants fast food as far service but set up to be table service. After our food arrived we were directed to the silverware and napkins. No one checks on food quality or needs after you are served your food!

Loved it! I was driving through the area, as I had been over to the Ford dealership getting my 1995 Ford Windstar worked on. I was having trouble getting it started lately and the shocks seemed to be wearing down on my side. They were nice enough and said they would take a look at it. Well as luck would have it, this place was right down the road. I went in about 12:30, a decent crowd, but I was still able to sit down. In some of the newer places I have a hard time getting in and sitting down. The new places use those narrow door frames, and as someone who is a bit larger, it can be embarrassing if you cannot get in the building. Well anyways, I was able to get in through the larger side door by the outdoor eating area. I wanted to try several things, and thankfully they had double burgers! Well I got me one regular double burger and also the hamburger steak, and decided since I had not been I would try a few sides, just fries, onion rings, coleslaw, and a side of the wings. None of it took too long to come out. Me and the waitress had a good chuckle. She thought surely I had some others I was ordering for, but I told her, just me today honey! We both got a smile out of it. It is nice they serve cold pops by the can instead of fountain drinks. I have had gastric bypass twice and the Dr's tell me the fountain drink soda has too much carbonation and can stretch out my stomach. All in all I was there about 45 minuets, and boy was I stuffed! The next time I am getting my Ford Windstar worked on I will probably come back! Yum-O as Hollywood says! read more

I have eaten at this place a couple of times and I must say it's pretty good. This place is located in the Northside of Murfreesboro between the US 41 and US 231 highway which is kinda cool if you decide to go up to Nashville or go to Manchester then you have something good to eat at on the way also this is not far from a car dealership so after looking at a potential car or getting a brand new car then this ain't a bad location to eat at. The inside of this restaurant has a very biker feel to it and also roadstop style feel which i love very much, they have a tv in case you want to watch sports and there is Pac Man machine that let's you play for free which is cool because then that saves you a bit of money to not that the classic arcade games take a lot but anyway now onto the food. The food here I must say is pretty good whenever I've eaten here i have ordered the regular Buster burger and I must say it's pretty good i love how fresh the meat is and also the produce they use to is fresh as well. The onion rings on the other hand are to die for too I love how fresh the onions and how they weren't too breaded and all for a decent price. One thing I do wish they had was if they gave you an option side for broccoli and if it were in a more easier location to get to for some people but o well it's pretty good none the less anyway that's all folks I'm Roman S signing off. read more

This Toot's, situated at the corner of NW Broad and Medical Center Parkway is the OG for the restaurant. While there are others, there is only one original Toot's! Folks ask how I would describe this Toot's location and every time I have them picture a local Hooters without the uniform mixed with a Cracker Barrel with a Panama City Beach vibe...While I could say many other things, that usually sums it up and is pretty spot on. Toot's is definitely a brand and is well known in the area, and quite popular as they have multiple locations around the 'boro. The brand has been built off of local vibes, cheap food and friendly service. While Toot's is a local institution, there really is nothing wildly special about what they offer. Most of their menu is standard from burgers, sandwiches, wings, seafood, salads, etc...and within that menu, most of those items are fried. So, if you are counting calories, Toot's is not the spot for you! They are famous for their fried pickles, so you know we started with an order. The pickles are lightly breaded, crispy and served with ranch dipping sauce. Again, nothing special...even from their specialty item. For our mains we both got a 15 count of wings, I went cajun dry rub and my pal went buffalo. The wings were the best part of the meal for sure. They were fried well, seasoned nicely, plump and juicy...all the things you want from a wing! For our sides, my buddy went fries and I went side caesar salad. His fries were standard, but done well. My salad was a bit odd, as it was legit a side salad including onions, boiled eggs, cucumber, etc...with caesar dressing. I guess I should have been more descriptive or inquisitive when I initially ordered it. Pricing was excellent, surprisingly affordable, especially for the service sizes! Service was good. Greeter was friendly and sat us quickly, and our server was friendly, engaging and efficient. No issues with service at all. I can see the allure for the local crowd. This can be a decent spot for a well priced and filling meal, and can even be a good place to belly up to the bar and watch some sports. While I would not go out of my way to visit Toot's, I definitely wouldn't say no on occasion as a local.

To kick things off, my wife ordered a frosty Blue Moon with the classic orange slice. I went with water... mainly because I needed to stay focused for the wing mission ahead. First up: Fried Dill Pickles. These were absolutely fantastic, lightly battered, crispy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. If you skip these, you're already making bad life choices. Now for the main event... the food! I used to be a die-hard bone-in wing guy, but Toot's Buffalo-Style Chicken Fingers may have converted me. I ordered 10 fingers, 5 Mango Habanero (because apparently I enjoy sweating while eating) and 5 Honey BBQ to cool my taste buds back down. Both were finger-lickin' good, and the side of tots sealed the deal. My wife ordered the Chicken Finger Salad because she thought she was making a healthy choice... until chicken fingers showed up on top. Nice try, babe. Bottom line: if you live in the Boro, or you're heading there for college, you need to try this place. We live in Franklin and gladly make the 30-minute drive for a Toot's road trip. That should tell you everything. Wings worth driving for? That's not a meal... that's a lifestyle.
