A mailhouse that *never* suggested to my client that they run their database through NCOA, add an endorsement line, or provided information about changes in USPS regulations?
Many years ago, the rep was fairly knowledgeable. After he left, this place sunk into a morass of mishaps. The database was mishandled due to data being entered incorrectly or not at all - members made change requests two or three times before the data would be updated correctly.
The last straw was when they entered over 300 new member records in a separate database, generated a mailing, didn't add those records to our existing database, and then the VP denied they'd ever had those records. But I had proof - the printout he gave my client! I re-entered those records myself.
After years of complaints from the membership and serious damage to our goodwill, my client was convinced they needed a new vendor. read more
