Many years ago, the rep was fairly knowledgeable. After he left, this place sunk into a morass of mishaps. The database was mishandled due to data being entered incorrectly or not at all - members made change requests two or three times before the data would be updated correctly. The last straw was when they entered over 300 new member records in a separate database, generated a mailing, didn't add those records to our existing database, and then the VP denied they'd ever had those records. But I had proof - the printout he gave my client! I re-entered those records myself. After years of complaints from the membership and serious damage to our goodwill, my client was convinced they needed a new vendor.

Dee Dee is my designer extraordinaire! She can be yours too!!…read moreI was introduced to her through a calendar she designed that I picked up at an open studio at ActivSpace where we both have studios. We met and chatted for a short time and then I left her for the weekend with some of my products (raw/vegan/gluten-free food) to come up with a logo for my new company. She came back with three choices and we went from there. I am a "chop-chop, let's get it done already" kinda girl and Dee Dee met the challenge! Next we designed labels for my packaging and I am loving them. We did a short run and made some changes for the second, larger run and I have been continually impressed with her speed, intuition and awareness. If you are looking for a designer who is easy to work with and accessible...Dee Dee is for you!

I wouldn't have minded if they just told me they couldn't do it, at the right price, within my time frame. Instead, they told me they could make the shirts at a competitive price, but they just delayed at getting back to me, until when they finally did the price quote was very high because they didn't have the shirts in stock and would have to air ship them. I wish they hadn't wasted a couple of days and a weekend figuring this out. I had to rush to find another vendor to get the order done on time (I used logosportswear.com, who really came through for me). I am giving them two stars because I applaud their social mission, but they still have to get the business part right.

Their response time for communication is very slow. I often had to follow up more than once to get a response. They sent me the wrong item, not once, but twice! I ended up with 2 boxes of products I did not want/order. Recently I decided to give them a second try and requested a sample of an item. Their response was "we will see if we have one around the office". I followed up a week later and they said they would request one from the vendor but they are on the east coast (ok?! can we not ship from the east coast to california?). Another week later the sample has not arrived. Yesterday I placed an order with their competitor 4imprints. I received an email from a person with in 5 mins of placing my order. We communicated back and forth about shipping times and the art work and my order was expedited to meet my needs. They also sent a sample right away when I requested one.
