I had never thought about what paying for a professional website would be like; I quickly learned it can be outrageous. I talked to several people who were charging me upwards of 4 thousand dollars, I couldn't believe it, but I had no frame of reference. Looking through Craigslist I came across Kingdom Webdesign. I gave them a call and spoke with Ariel, he runs the company I think. He was really great at explaining to me the types of things I might want in a website and why they would be helpful while still listening to what I wanted. He was able to meet at times that were convenient to me, his prices were so much more reasonable, and he had my page up and running really quickly. The best part was that he gave me a tutorial and showed me how I can upkeep my own page if things change in the future. He was super clear and I have never had such an easy time understanding anything tech related. I am extremely happy with the work he did for me and appreciate how pleasant he has been to work with. I have already recommended him to other people.

It makes me curious about the legitimacy of the other reviews for him. They do not represent the experience I had with him at all. This is the story: I hired Adal to help me optimize the visibility of my website. The first project was for a natural search. He charged me $2,000. That seemed like a lot, but he lead me to believe that he would get great results. We talked about maximizing the most valuable keywords that related to my business. He made a list of 1st and 2nd tier keywords. I assumed he would work on the first tier keywords. He did not. instead he focused all his energy on one obscure keyword out of list #2. Yes, he raised my visibility for that keyword, but it was rarely used by consumers. He still wanted full payment of 2K. I had already paid 1K and that was far too much for what he had accomplished. Before I realized that something was going wrong, I started another project with him. That project was to optimize my visibility on my Google Adwords account. It was already working well, but I desired a little more visibility. I had assumed, he would fine tune the keywords in my Adwords campaign. Though, he went off on an obscure tangent again. He wanted to funnel all of my ad money towards a large banner ad that would follow people around once they visited my site. I didn't see the value in that, but he had already spent several hours on the project and would be billing me for those. The cost of the Adwords Campaign was $1600. The kicker was, I ended up calling Google myself. They were able to walk me through the adjustments I needed to make in an hour. At that point, I expressed my unhappiness with his work. He didn't attempt to make anything right. He just said that I didn't appreciate his work. Therefore, there was no point in continuing. I was so surprised by his lack of accountability. I run my own business. it is very successful. I don't think I've ever let a client walk away feeling like they didn't get what they paid for. It's really bad business. While I don't doubt that he spent many hours working on my project, there was a ridiculously poor result. I am a wardrobe stylist. This would be like me taking payment for a 20-hr job to build a client's wardrobe and coming back to them with only one dress. I had put all my faith in Adal to handle this for me because I was intimidated by the process. Adal did not have my best interest in mind, but rather was most interested in billing for more time to increase his profits. This has been a very disappointing experience. I walk away from it with a very good, but expensive lesson.

Digitek Printing is a fantastic place for large format prints. My experience with them was quick,…read moreefficient and seamless. I had a large format portrait photograph printed on their black 3/16" gatorboard, laminated in semi-gloss. I uploaded the file to my Google drive, sent them the link and the print was ready the next day. The result is an extremely durable, water and weather resistant, warp-free, color accurate "poster." Although the word "poster" doesn't do justice to what is really a fine art print on super rigid hardboard. Their store front in the Apparel Way office complex off of Industrial (a few blocks from Lowe's on Bayshore) is neat and tidy, and has plenty of street parking. Although I didn't really get to interact with the employees, the gentleman who handed me the extremely well- packaged print (including oversize cardboard backer, so no edges can get dinged--nice!) was very friendly and courteous. The prices for Digitek's prints are quite reasonable, especially compared to inkjet fine-art giclee prints. Plus there is the added bonus of being able to choose foamboard or hardboard (gatorboard) backing, which you an actually touch without ruining the print. The gatorboard print I got is technically "mounted" on the rigid panel. But to my eye, there is no seam. It is as if the photo was a part of the backing or printed directly on it. Again, a color-accurate, durable, very high quality presentation for fine-art photography. I can't recommend Digitek highly enough.
