    I updated my win 10 desktop pc to win 11. What a BAD…read moreexperience! My PC is only 2 years old; it ran perfectly, but why not update Neil, is the owner of, "Coastside Computer Repair." He is a valuable treasure! His honesty, computer knowledge, ethics & kindness are a rare find. I had installed Win 11 on my Win 10 Alienware desktop. After a few days, it started blacking out, then it wouldn't start up at all... There was no start up window. Using the F12 key did nothing... I tried a loaded recovery stick, with no results. I've updated Win versions before, but this time, my PC couldn't respond... So, I knew that was it for me. And I called a friend who had a PC Repair shop for years & he couldn't help me... I looked at Yelp, called one 5-star PC Repair shop that was nearby but, he never returned my 3 calls. Then, I saw Coastside Computer Repairs and he has 5 stars & he's not too far from me. I called him & he was so responsive to me. I became his priority, to help me right away! And he did! My PC is better than before! Most computer repair companies charge residential customers up to $230 for on-site Operating System installation. With Neil, you'll pay only $75 - $105 for the same service. His Service Rates are very affordable, the general Hourly Rate is $40/Hr. with a 3 Hour Minimum, not including parts, if required. A House call fee is charged, if there is a need to travel to you. It depends on your location. He is so focused on giving his customers their money's worth! He really utilizes his 4-year degree in IT PC Training. He worked like, "a bat out of Hell," as my mom used to say " I always thought that everything happens for a good reason. I have an excellent result, from a horrible experience! I have hired Alisa several times over the past year for projects on branding & identity, print, and email design. Whenever I have an idea for a new project, she always asks the right questions, to help keep me focused on the intent behind a particular marketing piece, or the idea I'm looking to convey with the campaign. Many designers will just take your content and make it look pretty, but Alisa always reads my marketing pieces and I can tell she thinks holistically about my business identity when designing. She will often give me great constructive criticism when she feels a piece strays too far from my brand. I love having her perspective, and her suggestions are always on point. Alisa has a great eye, as she's truly an accomplished artist as well. Her designs for my business are clean and modern, with just a touch of whimsy; exactly what I asked for. I've received dozens of compliments on my new logo and my email marketing. My husband and I even hired Alisa to design our wedding invitations and programs. She really does it all! They were AWESOME, totally unique, and fit the feel of our wedding to a "T." We printed one of the invitation pieces on wood veneer and she helped us to find vendors for the wood piece and coordinate all the printing. As anyone who has planned a wedding knows, anytime you can hand off details to someone you trust, it is a blessing. Looking back on the wedding details, our invitations and programs were some of my favorite pieces, because they were very personal. I'm so glad we decided to create these pieces with Alisa, and didn't order a template-based piece from a stock website! Regarding the practical stuff, like her turnaround time and her fees; she's very easy to work with. I can tell you from experience (and seeing other quotes), that what Alisa charges is very reasonable. She is always respectful of my deadlines, and usually finishes ahead of schedule. She's even made same day revisions for me, when I was under the gun. While, I don't expect this all the time, she's always come through when I really needed it. Next up for me is a re-design of my business website, and I'm truly looking forward to this as another opportunity to work with Yes Design Shop!

    Noreen was incredible, with customer service skills worthy of 10 stars!…read more When I got to her counter, she explained she couldn't use the color photo I'd spent over an hour and a half getting from across the parking lot at Office Depot Office Depot because the prints weren't cut evenly or even the same size. I couldn't believe I'd spent all that time there, and the young lady who helped me had set everything up on my phone, only for me to discover they didn't even have a printer app for what I needed. Upon approaching the FedEx Office printing section, I immediately realized I had chosen the wrong business compared to OfficeMax or Office Depot, as FedEx Office was arranged like a professional mini printing warehouse. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, trying to get it all done just one day before my son's big day, Class of 2026 graduation. Noreen was kind, helpful, and patient. She guided me through the process, and I was so relieved by her professionalism and the fact that she noticed I was exhausted. She was an absolute sweetheart, helping me figure out how to send the photos through the FedEx office photo app, and once I explained what I needed, she assured me she'd take care of everything from there. She gave me a price, and I said, "Okay, let me head back to Office Depot OfficeMax to get my refund so I can put it toward their fees." After returning with my refund from Office Depot OfficeMax, Noreen asked me to have a seat in their customer area while she worked on my photos--laminated, double-sided graduation keepsakes to wear around our necks for my son's graduation day. Noreen, thank you, my dear. You were a breath of fresh air during my time of frustration and exhaustion. By the time you finished, I was a truly happy customer, and the whole store knew it! FedEx Office in Colma, CA, is absolutely awesome, and I'm grateful to you for making my son's graduation extra special. I asked her to jot down her name, then told her manager and everyone else that I'd be writing a review guaranteed to get them all a raise, lol! When I grabbed my receipt this morning to write this review, I noticed Noreen had gone above and beyond for customer satisfaction by writing "Congrats!" with a heart replacing the dot on the exclamation point.     Not a fan of their new (well, not really new) shipping practices where they try and get you to use…read moretheir automated shipping system. The problem is that there isn't very much information provided when using that process. An example from today comes to mind. I'm shipping something that has an internal battery back to the manufacturer for repair. It doesn't seem to want to charge. When I went to use the automated check-in system, I was prompted to certify that my package didn't include hazardous materials. But, there isn't any information as to WHAT they consider hazardous. Because I wasn't sure if the battery in the package was considered hazardous, I decided to use the human based check in. The first words out of the person (who was female) who helped me's mouth was, "You know you could have used the automated check-in in." Not hi, not hello...but trying to drive me to that system. When I explained why I was going with human check in, her tone and body language were incredibly condescending. I felt like she was trying to chide me for wanting to ensure I followed their practices. I highlight this interaction because Neal and the team here have been my go to for some time both personally and professionally when I need something printed or shipped. I'm not going to change that, but I really wish they wouldn't treat people who want to be sure they are doing it right so poorly. It's not the first time I've had this challenge. This is why I decided to Yelp it. Customers should know what the experience will be like if you choose not to use their automated process.
