NACHO FRIES with Carne Asada

If you're looking for truly authentic Mexican food (the kind I grew up with in my abuelita's house), then you gotta stop by Bushwick Taco Company! Authentic, plentiful AND delicious, mind you! The staff were very pleasant and attentive from the get go; and this was when they were super busy filling endless delivery orders and serving in-house customers! The interior was standard Mexican-style eatery; which when you see this kind of interior, you KNOW you're in for great food! We'll definitely be back! ¡Hasta pronto!

Food was great. Got a steak burrito and was served quickly. Cute spot, definitely worth a try if nearby

Hidden germ alert! Delicious Mexican fare at reasonable prices. We ordered the bowls and few times from this establishment and were not disappointed. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Try their special burrito bowls!!

We were looking for a good food spot that had gluten free options and landed here. I'm so glad I did. This taco spot is legit. It's a small little joint, a pretty busy to go restaurant. They only had a couple tables to eat inside. We were immediately greeted and seated. They have a great menu and a lot of different options for your fillings. You can pick a style: taco, burrito, bowls, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas, and flautas. Then pick your fillings. They have something for everyone. This is also a great kid friendly spot with many options for them to choose from. I can't stop thinking about the Papas Fritas. Perfectly fried French fries topped with cotija cheese, cilantro, and chili powder served with a side of chipotle Mayo. Definitely try these as an appetizer or side dish, you won't regret it. The chips and salsa were delicious too! The BTC Special Burrito Bowl was fire! I loved the mix of Spanish rice, tomatoes, avocado, salsa verde, and over easy eggs with your choice of meat. I got the chorizo and it was all so good! You can get it vegetarian too. It was a big portion too! Perfect brunch option! They have a few alcoholic drink options, I got the frozen Margarita and it was very satisfying! Get the churros and their agua frescas! They are bomb! Overall, this was a perfect spot for a Saturday brunch. It's small, but a fun and delicious experience. The service was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place for delicious food!

Tacos is my favorite food . I love a good Mexican dish especially originally born and raised in California and living in Texas . This Bushwick Taco Company location was small and intimate . The location blended in with the neighborhood and reminded of a local spot . I ordered the Birria Tacos (My Fav) and a frozen Hennessy. I have no complaints . The Birria Tacos and Frozen drink was great . In addition, I checked in through yep and received free chips and salsa with my purchase . The customer service was good and I am returning soon . It's also convenient . Literally 12 mins from my residence and I caught the bus !!! #Winning

We came here for a quick lunch as we were in the area. We decided to eat-in. The restaurant was empty but, they had a steady stream of deliveries and takeout orders. The restaurant had 3 tables with two chairs each and a hand sanitizer bottle by the entrance. The table service was non-existent. They took orders and dropped off food and the bill. They didn't check in and they forgot items when we ordered. They two women spent most of the time chatting among themselves or handling customers that came in. We got an order of guac and chips ($7.50) to share. The chips and guac was okay but, nothing noteworthy. We noticed that the chips seemed homemade but, they didn't add any salt to them. When added green and red sauce to the guac and it made the guac more flavorful. Little Ram got an order of goat tacos for $13. They thought it was okay but, they were hungry after consuming the tacos. I felt for that price they should have included a small side. I ordered the chicken tinga bowl for $9 (not including additional add-ons). I added in sour cream and guac which cost extra. Personally, I felt that this bowl was lacking for this price point. The flavor was decent but, I felt like there was more lettuce than rice and sour cream shouldn't be extra. I honestly felt like I was eating a salad and not a rice bowl. Jammy Jam got an Al Pastor bowl for $9 (not including additional add-ons). They ordered guac and fajitas veggies for $1.50-ish for each add-on. They said the flavor was lacking but, that it was tasty. They said there wasn't anything that was noteworthy. They felt that Qboda has better flavor and value for the price point. We also ordered horchatas ($2.75) and it was okay. My friends remarked it tasted like weak tea. The churros for $8 was okay. I am not sure if the churro had a filling or if it was under cooked. I thought it was okay but, Little and Jam enjoyed them. I found the chocolate dipping sauce to be very rich and strong. I am kinda torn. I like that this is a cute neighborhood spot but, I felt that the flavor was lacking and not noteworthy. There was nothing that made this spot stick out from other places. The prices are affordable but, quickly add up when you add in extras like onion/peppers, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guac. I felt like some of these items should be included in the cost of the bowl because the bowl itself seemed a bit meager by itself.

Solid taco joint! Bushwick Taco is a small hole-in-the wall, so best to order for takeout or delivery. As a heads up, if you check-in on Yelp, you can get a free side of chips & salsa with an order over $15. Also, on Taco Tuesdays, their tacos are cheaper (~$3). For the price, I think the quantity was great, but I do think the meat and salsa verde in the tacos could have been more flavorful.

This little ass guacamole cost me $8 (via Uber eats)!!!! This is ridiculous!! There's absolutely no reason this tiny portion cost so much.. that's disheartening!

Tacos are just ok. Boring sauces.

I dined in today and really didn't have anything memorable to write about. It's a local spot, very convenient within walking distance, and food is alright. Average. I wish they'd heat up the enchilada in the oven so that the cheese would melt a little bit. It's slightly warm, but not warm enough even though we dine in. I feel like the flour tortillas just come straight from a bag, and they don't do anything to them. Tacos and sauces aren't special. Just a boring meal. 3.5/5

Bushwick Taco Company is the best. You've ever eaten some place and the food is always different ? Sometimes good sometimes bad ? Not here the food is ALWAYSSSSSSS GOOOD ! Do you see the portions ? Prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are very pleasant. I love Bushwick Taco Company ! The restaurants decor is my Favorite as well. I loved everything about Frida Khalo while learning about her in school. She has a mural in the restaurant, it's beautiful. Try everything they have to offer , I'm sure it's all AMAZING

Found this place on the fly. Looking to enjoy one of my favorite cuisines. They were one of the only places opened late on a Wednesday night they close at 11:30pm. Friendly service I Sat and ate there small 3 table top and a little high table seating area. No alcohol is served. I ordered the carnitas BTC special rice bowl it's very good and Hella filling. I like the salsa Verde sauce they serve on the side. My date had the Grilled chicken burrito in the bowl and he likes it a lot. I tasted the chicken it's quite tasty well seasoned

Ordered takeout for Cinco de Mayo and we were expecting an insane wait, but to our surprise the food was ready very quickly despite it being so busy. Opted for some chipotle chicken tacos, fish of the day tacos, chips and guacamole, and chipotle mayo on the side. We really wanted elote, but they said they were out. The chipotle chicken tacos were extremely flavorful, but I do wish they didn't put the salsa verde on top so that we can choose how much or how little we want to put on. The fish taco was a bit disappointing and small. The chips and guac were good, although we had a mixed bag of fresh chips and stale chips. The chipotle mayo was really delicious!

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.

4.4 and rounded up. Ambiance 4 stars…read more Food 5 stars. Service 4.3 stars. AMBIANCE: Walking to the restaurant from the subway, it's located on an unassuming block at the corner of 4th St and Havemeyer in Williamsburg, front of store doesn't particularly stand out. Walking in they've decorated with creative, crafty (in a good way) touches--the multitude of ropes draped from the ceiling add dimension to the ceiling and the bar back wall is composed of wood pieces forming a multi-colored herringbone pattern. Textured glass pendant lights hanging from the ceiling throw mini geometric patterns across the dark walls, and vibrant canvas artworks add pictorial interest along the walls. FOOD: YUM. I can see why this place was jam packed on a Saturday night, and reservations are needed. Strong recommendation for their tasting menu at $58 pp, what a delightful meal! 8 sharing dishes and 3 desserts were perfect for a party of five, and drinks are separate though you can add a cocktail pairing for $47. For each main they provide a serving per person, and the desserts are shared. I came hungry and was so full by the end of the meal--everything was delicious! - grapefruit guacamole w/house-made chips: the grapefruit chunks were "meaty" and surprisingly went really well with the guac, it added a different citrus element than the usual lime. Comes with a small bowl of maybe 6-7 chips and we asked for two chips refills since the chips to guac and salsa ratio was low. - spicy faroe islands' salmon tartar: tasty and I liked the latin flavors and corn, snow peas, a touch of wasabi. Flavors of the sesame-soy-truffle-lemon vin and crema got a little muddled. Relatively more "generic" dish of the evening though I was here for it! Any dish with fresh tender salmon, I can't complain. - blue crab and carrot tostada, generous shredded crab salad on top of freshly crisp blue corn tortilla. Topped with pumpkin seeds, dill, cilantro, and saffron-orange aioli. - three cheese & artichoke 'queso fundido': served in a very hot ceramic pot and super melty and delicious, eaten with the fluffy grilled pita and green apple slices + salsa. One of the top picks of the evening. - roasted bone marrow and chorizo, served as tacos with fresh blue corn tortillas, and added a sprinkle of pickled onions--does that sound amazing? Bc it was AAHMAZING. - spicy chipotle-guajillo shimp 'diablo' (not spicy): served with pumpkin tortillas and three accompaniments on the side--mushroom chile crisp, horseradish crema, celery 'salsa macha". Part 2 to make your own tacos was another hit! Our entire table agreed if they sold the sauce for the shrimp we'd all buy it. - heritage pork osso bucco 'carnitas' with Fall-spiced black mole, sour cherry mostardo, calabrian chile pesto: cue drooling now. This part 3 of the tacos was served on pumpkin tortillas; the meat was practically falling off the bone, tender, juicy and flavorful. - buffalo-style com 'elote: sooo good too! A little messier to eat since it comes drizzled with spicy hot sauce butter, feta, lime aioli, cilantro, though totally worth it! - Desserts: --green tea matcha churros: comes with two little pots of spiced mexican chocolate & passion fruit sauce. Warm, sugary and crisp without being too sweet. --pumpkin spiced-vanilla flan: topped with sour cherries, cocoa nibs & toasted seed 'trail mix", if you love flan you'll love this, so smooth and creamy with a bit of crunch and tang from the cherries. --pistachio tres leches cake with cream cheese frosting, raspberry, using an olive oil cake: we all agreed this was probably the best tres leches we've ever had. The pistachio nuttiness and the creaminess from the milks paired well. SERVICE: Very friendly and attentive service though it was very loud in the restaurant and they had to really shout. There was a delay in the middle of our meal I think bc kitchen was slammed, after the entree we waited about 35 min for our desserts. Considering they limited the seating to 2 hours and about half of our party arrived 20 min late, and accounting for the long wait pre-dessert, they did us solid by extending our table time by about an hour in total. Also great that they brought the first dessert out with a candle for my friend's birthday.
