So today I thought I'd order it again and it was totally different it was soupy super liquidy and when I called the chef he tried to tell me that it was the same thing and I'm telling him the first time I got it was a red this time it's brown. This place is great the staff are all friendly and family so it makes the place feel super welcoming it is quit small but what amazing is how fresh everything tastes. My family loves coming here atleast once a week or ordering and what is really good is the daily specials they make once you enter are so delicious and worth the price. It was late at night, my friends and I were ambling down Wyckoff St looking for some quesadillas. This place didn't look particularly impressive, but I was in dire need of a quesadilla and so we stopped in. 8$....the best quesadilla of my life. Good lord. It was large, and they absolutely stuffed it with cheese and flavourful carnitas. Topped with crema and queso fresco for even better texture. First visit during the game 6 of the NBA finals. I quickly wanted to put in my order eat and head back to the bar to finish the game. I ordered a burrito and a regular chicken taco. the burrito came with a small salad and guacamole. the guacamole wasn't the best I ever had but it was passable. I prefer a little chopped tomato and more onion. i was super satisfied with the burrito. I think next time to save calories I will probably just order two tacos and chill. I got the veggie burrito and a the veggie burger w/ avocado combo which comes with fries, or is supposed to at least. Anyway, even though the portion of the burrito was worth the cost, there were large button mushrooms & whole garlic cloves in it, which I did not enjoy, but it wasn't terrible entirely. The burrito was FAR from "Mexican" though. The veggie burger was supposed to come with avocado, pickles, tomato, lettuce and fries. There was no avocado and there were no fries either. I was charged $8 for that order. A order of just the veggie burger without fries is $5.50, so I feel a little played. I also added a horchata to my order upon pickup which was $3.50 but she didn't charge me for it at first but I got an email regarding a add-on so I now feel this review is warranted. read more

I'm currently eating what I ordered on GrubHub. I ordered a Turkey Burger and sweet potato fries and I'm highly disappointed. My burger was dry and lacked of seasoning and my fries taste like actual raw sweet potato(needed to be cooked more). What kind of careless cook leaves an avocado pit in a sandwich? My first visit was pretty good, and based on that experience I would have given this restaurant at least a three, maybe even four stars. However, the return visit, only two weeks later, is why this deserves less. The food is, honestly, really mediocre: decent flavor but not very high quality ingredients. Both times we ordered guacamole and chips, which was good, chicken enchiladas (nothing special), and an al pastor torta (again, not without flavor, but lacking in substance, slathered in mayo and dripping with oil, etc). We also tried their horchata ($3) which tasted like it had cinnamon flavoring and some awful sweetener. The service is downright bad. The server delivered a bottle of water and a glass when asked for tap water and sat there texting (or spacing out?) instead of giving us the check. Finally, the reason I'm even writing this review: in the torta there was a whole avocado pit. When I brought it to the server's attention in a polite way, she essentially shrugged it off. One might expect some apology or compensation for this half-assed sandwich-making and one will look for a better experience elsewhere. read more

I tried the quesadilla, chimichonga, and enchilada . The meat was dry and flavorless. Like beef jerky. The chimichonga was supposed to have pineapple, but I couldn't really taste it or really anything besides this weird cheese/sour cream sauce they put on it. The food arrived promptly when I ordered delivery. Sopes tasted very fresh--tortilla was nice and crispy on the outside, but tender inside. I've eaten from here 3 different times. I was excited to try Viannely's Jerk 1/4 chicken, sweet potato fries, and Mango smoothie. First let me say that the fries were good but the other two items had the potential to be phenomenal but their flavors taste watered-down. The mango smoothie (if I can even call it that, it was more like mango infused milk) was way too thin. The Jerk Chicken, the little bit of sauce was runny and way too watery in consistency and taste. I've ordered breakfast from here to at the suggestion of another reviewer on another site. Even worst. How can you get egg, cheese, and bacon wrong? Toast was hard, bacon was even harder, cheese was like hard melted plastic stuck to the other two. The fruit salad was ok, I just ate the melon because the strawberries had a weird taste. Once again tried Vianne;y's for the third time because a reviewer on that same site said their burgers are really good. The burger didn't taste like the meat was seasoned.
