The place was not busy but the cashier was impatient. The Mac and cheese tasted like toddler jar baby food Mac and cheese. So gross. Their chicken sandwich had two very small tenders, took up less than half of the bun they were on. The tenders were over fried and flavorless. The soda was nice and the place was clean. read more

This is a typical Bush chicken place. You know what they have, and you know what to expect. This location also happened to be a timely location during out travels. We did takeout as we had many more miles to travel that day. Our orders included 6 piece, and two four piece dinners. When we opened the boxes after hitting the road, we were happily surprised. It looked like they had emptied their kitchen in our boxes. I didn't count the pieces, but it was so many that none of us could finish the boxes. Most of the chicken was fresh and tasty, but a few tasted like they had been cooked a long time. Also, the sides were bland. We will remember this place for our next trip. I just wish the location was nearer Hwy 285. read more

All around good. Look for the school bus in the parking lot cause if it's there it will be busy. All chicken is charged the same , not like other places where white meat is more expensive than dark meat. Here white and dark is charged the same. Busy place...Passing through and from out of town and wanted something other than burgers. Love the crispy chicken breast. Sooo moist and large pieces. I'm not from Texas so they have way different cole slaw than I'm used to and didn't care for it. The Mac and Cheese was runny and needed salt and pepper. This is not your typical Bush's Chicken. This location is much more bland than the locations I'm used to. Due to the limited selection of eating establishments in Pecos, Texas, we chose Bush's Chicken, thinking it would be a good decision. It was okay. The chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese were all very bland. It reminded me of hospital food that you would pay too much for. I love Bush's Chicken in San Antonio, especially since it is a Texas-based company. However, this one left me feeling uninspired due to their tasteless food.
