The food tastes good here. If you see a bunch of vehicles parked in the front, that's the line. Anyhow, as far I as can remember, biscuits have been a waste of space. That is until the last time I tried one from this KFC. Oh, the years wasted! The rest of the meal was good, I was still a bit hungry, so I started on the biscuit... It was like I'd never actually had a biscuit before. It was light, buttery, with a touch of sweet. Nothing needed to add flavor or moisture, it was perfect all by itself. I will say both times I've come here I've had no complaints regarding the food. But WHERE is the silverware y'all? If I order a famous bowl am I supposed to eat it with my hands? First time I didn't realize it till I was way down the road. This time I checked. Went inside and asked and they said they don't carry silverware. Staff was extremely rude. At the second drive through window I made eye contact with the kid, and then he proceeded to look down at his phone, finish his lengthy text, then open the window and hand me my items that had sat there since before I pulled up. Permanent eye roll. In my opinion stick to the drive through, you'll get a kid that ignores you on his phone but you won't have to deal with the disgusting cleanliness of the lobby. Gross. read more

I've been by the past 3days they continue to leave the lobby locked, I informed them I was truck driver I can't pull through the drive through the lady just shrugged her shoulders and turned around refused to take my order! Visited on a Tuesday during the late lunch hour to try out Pecos newest fast food restaurant. As everyone around here will tell you, KFC quality sucks here around Midland-Odessa area. I kept an open mind and was curious how a new KFC looks inside as it does outside. The parking lot is very small and cramped as so is the dining room inside the KFC. I entered the restaurant and to my surprise no lines which made it great, I quickly placed my order and was on my way to find a table. Tables inside are limited however it was late lunch hour and wasn't busy so finding one was easy. This is the first time I've ever seen a clean KFC to my surprise. My food came out fast, I ordered the $5 fill up 2pc meal original crispy and the chicken was great, crisp and well cooked, good for KFC standards today. Overall, it's new, trendy fast food chain, and food was great. Way to make a great impression KFC Pecos, will revisit if I'm ever around for work in the future. read more

Second visit in the last two weeks. This place has gone downhill fast with the absence of franchise management. You guys have to place someone at this location who can manage employees. The whole restaurant has been a mess since you left from dirty floors, dirty restrooms, out of napkins, out of bbq sauce, out of Mac and cheese, employees wearing earbuds, employees texting, underage employees smoking outside, proofing trays laying on the ground on their side. The past several times I've ordered from here it's been a disappointment. Biscuits dry and hard, why would they even try to pass them off instead of throwing them out. I waited in line 20 minutes only to get to the speaker and have to wait another 10 minutes. Ordered my food two chicken breast with mashed potatoes. I get home open my food there is no chicken in my box only rolls. That was my first experience. My second experience I wait 30 minutes to get to the speaker only to wait another 10 minutes. Literally the worst KFC ever. We walked in and there was no one at the front for almost 5 minutes. The worker came and was nice in the front but then they messed up an order and another worker was yelling at the other employees. That employee proceeded to call her boss (maybe?) literally in the lobby and we could hear the whole conversation. It was so unprofessional, even for fast food. There was another employee LITERALLY SWEEPING the lobby the whole time with his music on and you could hear racial slurs. There was someone waiting in the drive through waiting for their order for 30 minutes. They forgot about our order, which was one famous bowl. We waited for 40 minutes for two famous bowls. This is a new place in the area. First they ran out of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. This is in a great location and there is a large presence of oilfield folks all around and several large truck stops close. They ran out of chicken thighs and legs this day. Everyone knows this would be popular but management failed to prepare ahead. The staff is not smiling. Plus is that the place was clean except for the restroom. If this place wants to make a difference in the area they need to step up a couple of notches and prepare more and have more training. Parking is not friendly for 3/4 ton pickups. It is tight parking for any full size auto. read more

Okay, 2nd time I've tried this KFC about an hour after opening (11 a.m.-ish). Doors locked. Worker inside said "no cooks showed up yet". Gave them a pass the first time. The one time I did eat there the food was good but had to listen to the cook (hey he showed up) drop F bombs in his conversation w the front counter waitress. Most tables needed a cleaning. Stopped by KFC on my way through town for what I thought was going to be a quick late dinner. I waited 39 minutes for my food. Order was put in at 7:00, they called my name at 7:39. While my boyfriend and I waited, we watched dozens of cars get served through the drive-thru. Looking around at a restaurant full of hungry, frustrated customers waiting a RIDICULOUS amount of time for fast food that we've already paid for was aggravating. It seems as if KFC is worried about getting their drive-thru customers served quickly while dine-in customers are spaced in one at a time every 5 minutes or so. Completely unacceptable service. Then we finally get our food, and the order is messed up. Waited another 5 minutes for them to fix it. We now have to eat our food in the car because we spent too much time inside. read more

11:15 am June 27, waited 45 mins in the drive thru lane. Arriving at the window (12 noon) observed 2 female KFC employees walking in carrying drinks from McDonalds for the crew. After distributing the drinks the window opened with my prepaid $5.95 Tenders meal order. After hearing no apology quickly determined I was being handed probably $30 worth of chicken. I am writing this review for my husband who went in to this location today with a friend. They each ordered when it was their turn, then 3-4 people behind them ordered. Everyone of those people and his friend were served except my husband. Finally he asked about his meal and they said they were waiting on his original recipe and that it would be a few more minutes. My husband said that couldn't be true because he had stood their and watched them serve his exact meal to other people in line behind him. They said it would be ready soon and my husband asked a for a refund. The manager came to refund his credit card and never asked what the problem was, didn't apologize, didn't even say anything. Then when my husband went and sat with his friend who was finishing his meal by now, he noticed the employees looking at him and laughing. It seemed odd to him that out of all the customers there, his was the only food not prepared nor was the manager concerned about it or contrite about it and that the employees felt the situation was laughable. Odd that he was the ONLY Caucasian there including employees and his friend. Was this a case of racism? Or just a very poorly run KFC. Either way it reflects badly on the KFC corporation and travelers to the area should probably avoid this location for either reason. read more

The food was typical KFC although it seemed a bit less tasty than I'm used to. DW and I both thought the coleslaw was dry and lacked flavor. They now offer a "buttery spread" and "honey sauce" to go with your biscuit. Not sure what either of those are but they are a pretty good ways away from honey and butter. But that's not why the low rating. We were greeted at the door with a sign that masks are required and I appreciate that. Just to the left of the counter is a large poster telling about all the things KFC is doing to protect us during Covid. They have plexiglass up at the registers and the two people out front both had masks. So far so good. So we order and pay and while waiting on our food, started looking for a place to sit. Most of the tables were filthy with trash, crumbs, and other junk on them. They hadn't even been wiped down in a while, much less disinfected. Then a manager came out and sat down talking on the phone - no mask. So I started paying attention behind the counter and no one in the food prep area was wearing a mask. Saw probably a half dozen people walking around back there with nothing on their face. The entire thing just didn't seem to support what KFC said they was doing to help keep us safe. If I had seen all this before we started eating, I wouldn't have stopped there. It almost seemed like those up front were putting on a front for appearances but beyond that, no one cared. This is the best KFC experience I have had in a long time. This is a relatively new location and I am from out of town so I do not know how long it has been there, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The order took a little bit longer to get than usual, but it was absolutely correct. Where I come from there isn't a KFC within 40 miles that can get your order right so waiting an extra minute or two was well worth it to me. The food was well prepared and was presented to me very neatly packed in a bag. I had a $20 Fill Up and that order did not fall over in the car, or otherwise come apart. Great job! Please keep up the good work because your customers actually do notice the job you do. read more

the 11 herbs and spices here are salt, salt, salt, salt, salt, etc...no only was our order bad, but the man in front of us ordered chicken only-no sides and was charged nearly $30 for maybe 10 pieces...he questioned the cashier..the cashier was almost yelled at by other staff...and he paid..asked for the receipt...then our order..started with no chicken tenders...I told my wife, "Let's go." but she decided to stay....so we changed to 2 pc fill-up like mine...we paid and they didn't even have the correct change..it was only 2 cents they were unable to give us....but what about the customers behind us...worst KFC in the world, I believe... read more
