Friendly service and fun dining room full of chicken and rooster decor. The restaurant is a bit cold and resembles a trailer. The inside is a bit dirty. The establishment does not have alcohol. There are no carrots or celery with the wings. The fries are good. There is ranch but no blue cheese. We got the mango habenero, "good stuff," hot buffalo and za za volcano. The hot buffalo was the best.

Service was solid, the servers work really hard to keep up with a big floor. However, this visit was a great reminder of why I don't come to places like this for the food. I got six wings with Nashville Hot for the sauce, and I think the picture says plenty. The plate was anemic, with tiny wings and no celery or carrots. And then the taste...yikes. This wasn't Nashville Hot, it was Carlsbad Cringe. No tang to the sauce at all, it had almost a curry flavor to it instead. Huge miss all around. Sure, there were TVs. But operating like a corporate factory instead of a local restaurant led to a very cookie cutter experience, and not in a good way. Oh, and they never put on the game I asked for.

Guess KFC is trying to beat McD's dismal record. There were no less than 8 young boys there at the time. They were playing hockey with the broom and fallen pieces of chicken. One kid sneezed all over the taco bell side of the prep area and another dropped one of the sauce "guns" on the floor, picked it up and put it back in the prep rack. I may be only one lost customer, but there were several other customers there that noticed the lack of professional, sanitary service offered at the Artesia KFC.
