The food - a good variety and selection for everyone. You can't go wrong with any pairing on any of the sides they have. The serving size is more than enough, we always leave with a "to-go" box. The plate is nicely prepared as you see in the picture, they also give you extra dipping sauces upon request at no charge but there's plenty that you won't need it. The veggies are very good, properly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The meat... it is the way I like it done. You can ask to make it well if you want and they make it to your liking. The salmon is also really good and moist. It's topped off with some king of tomato based with spices that goes well with the fish. It's delicious. Now the bread and the dipping sauce... soooo good. Breaks my low carb diet all the time, irresistible! The service - the crew behind the counter all work as fast and efficient as possible, expect a little delay when it's a full house, it's expected and that's the nature of the business. I ordered a brisket bowl with brown rice and veggies, I got my mom the salmon bowl with the same base and side. They forgot about the sweet potato fries and came back out with it 20 mins later. It was an aright experience here. Nice staff members. They ran out of something my sister wanted. I think they improvised the order for her. The wait for food was over 30 minutes. It did not look busy, but I did see that they were short staffed. Everything they made was fresh I like the hibiscus lavender lemonade. Their drinks are refillable like self serve. I ordered for pick up. They can't take pick up orders over the phone, so I had to do it online. Kind of annoying. We wanted to make alterations to our order and would have much preferred to verbally do that with a human, especially it being my first time ordering food from this restaurant. They have a lot of vegan options and I appreciate that their menu labels both vegan and vegetarian options. (A lot of places only label vegetarian) I got the mixed vegetables plate & my husband got the BBQ tri-tip sandwich. With the mixed vegetables plate you pick two sides, I chose the baked sweet potatoes & paid an extra $1.25 for the quinoa & power greens salad. The mixed vegetables had great flame-grilled flavor but was mostly bell peppers. I was hoping for more of a variety of vegetables; it was pretty much all bell pepper. The carrots were not cooked long enough in my opinion- they were still crunchy. But again, the flavor was 10/10. Upon ordering I was thinking a side of hummus or some sort of sauce was needed, but the veggies had such a great flavor that no sauce was necessary at all. The baked sweet potatoes were heavily seasoned, a little too peppery for my liking but otherwise they were good. The quinoa & power greens salad had great flavor that kind of reminded me of a sweet & salty Mexican candy I used to enjoy as a child. I was not expecting such flavor in the salad but it was unique and bold. If going for health with the salad though I'd definitely pour lightly on the dressing, because it seems to have a decent amount of salt to it. The focaccia bread was absolutely incredible- very fluffy and soft, especially for a vegan bread. Their scallion sauce was delicious as well. For my husband's tri-tip sandwich he requested to substitute the BBQ sauce with their chimichurri sauce. He also requested no cheese and no onions. They got all the alterations correct, even though we ordered online. His sandwich looked delicious to me. Meat looked a bit thickly cut, I think thinly cut tri-tip is more appealing. He said the bread and sauce were amazing and while the meat was not the freshest it was good too. He felt the meat cut more thinly would have been less tough to chew through and thus fresher feeling. Overall he was satisfied and said he would eat here again. He has tried the tri-tip chimichurri sandwich on focaccia bread at Urbane Cafe and was not half as satisfied. Although the Urbane chimichurri tri-tip does have thinner cut, fresher tasting meat, the bread and sauce are drastically better from Bushfire. It's a similar price range, nearby location, and and the same ingredients but overall a better sandwich at Bushfire Kitchen, in his opinion. read more

Table was wet from having been cleaned shortly before I sat down. Then I could smell the old rag mildew odor- I wiped down the table using a sanitizing wipe and it was BLACK. Very disappointing. Ordered the chimichurri tri tip plate with a side of Mac n cheese and fries. Took a long time to come out, but the meat was COLD! Unfortunately, the meat was also tough. My kids hated the mac n cheese which is a bummer since that was supposed to be the majority of their meal. The crunch on the mac was good but it was bland. No flavor. The fries were good. The chimichurri was delicious. Service wasn't great either. They didn't bother cleaning the tables/booths after they cleared them, so we cleaned it ourselves. Visited on 10/8/2023 at 11:30 am. The cashier was very nice and food was delicious. However, 45 minutes after eating my son and I both had diarrhea. We both ordered the American burger. After telling my husband who was with us, he ordered the steak sandwich, he said that when he asked for a box he watched the cook(tall, blond male) blow his nose and not even wash or sanitize his hands! Then reached for cheese and put it on a burger. I'M APPALLED. My son who only ate half his burger and had took it to his home, ended up throwing it away, he was so grossed out! UPDATE: sent my concern to corporate. They home office responded and said they would forward it to the operations team. We'll guess what?! Store manager, district manager, not even the director of operations contacted me! This company does not think customer concerns are important or the lack of sanitary practices in their restaurants! I saw another review that would say that they would describe this place as a upper class Panera bread and I would agree somewhat. The decor inside is pretty and a good amount of seating. They also have a decent seating arrangement for the outside patio. We came in on a slow Friday afternoon. The menu seemed to have a decent amount of options. We ordered a tuscan chicken sandwich and a kid's quesadilla meal with one side. My sandwich fell apart so many times and the toppings couldn't stay on. The fries were delicious though. I did sub out their mayonnaise for some mustard and it was good. My son didn't touch his quesadilla but did eat the fries. The quesadilla looked ok to me. The main problem I have with this place is the pricing of things. I didn't think it was worth the close to $8 price for the kids meal. Kids meals should be cheaper. My Tuscan chicken sandwich was fine. Wasn't great, just fine. I'm not so sure about this place. I would say it's probably good if you want healthier alternatives while eating out at a restaurant. Bushfire is amazing! We try so hard to stay away but somehow can't resist the Millionaire's BLT. A tasty blend of crisp , salty and slightly sweet with a spicy kick, it makes the BLT fit for a king, or at least, a millionaire! (Yes I am cheesy but so will you be for a BLT this good!) With BLT's, it's all about the ratios and there is a generous serving of bacon, yay! and just the right amount of fresh lettuce and tomato with a nice aioli on ciabatta bread that is not too thick with a crunchy crust and soft bread. They are consistent and deliver a great sandwich every single time. And we visit weekly! I have had many of the menu items and they are all delicious; I will contemplate trying another healthy roasted veggie bowl, salmon, or burger, which I will love, but if I order something else, I will still take a bite of my husband's Millionaire's BLT! He is a big fan and will only order the BLT. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The food comes out quickly for such perfection, it's almost like they start our order when we walk in! We came in when there was no one at 11 when they open, ordered three veggie burgers with buns not toasted because of sensitive teeth. Everyone's orders came out before us and then after I asked them to update us the worker Abby was laughing at me and to her fellow worker. Came to Bushfire because a friend recommended it. I'm glad it did. I've been passing this place up for fast food when I would have enjoyed this food a lot more. It's definitely comfort food, served fast. I would describe it as an upper class Panera bread. You go in, place your order at the register and are given a number. You can sit anywhere you want, and they'll bring out the food for you. Most of their sides comes in a small size or a large size (so you can share). They also have many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. We ordered the mac and cheese, brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, a chicken empanada, a beef empanada, the bbq tri-tip sandwich, American burger, and a lemon cooler cookie. I liked the Mac and cheese because it tasted fresh and not out of a box. The cheese taste like real cheese and not processed cheese. It was still creamy and not overly smothered and the noodle type is penne instead of elbow. The Brussels sprouts were roasted and drizzled with a balsamic glaze, just the way I make them at home. Loved them! The garlic mashed potatoes were flavorful but I wish they were a bit more creamy. I felt the consistency and texture were too runny. The chicken/beef empanadas were stuffed with choice of meat and various spices and veggies. We definitely enjoyed the chicken one over the beef simply because of how much more flavorful the chicken was. Also, their chimichurri sauce was really good! The bbq tri-tip was one of my favorites. It came on a focaccia and it was amazing. It had a nice crisp on the outside and the inside was fluffy and soft. It paired so well with the tender and flavorful tri-tip! The sandwich wasn't smothered in bbq sauce which was a plus. The American burger honestly just tasted like a burger. I appreciate that their beef patties are a bit on the thicker side. Now let me tell you I saved the best for last. That lemon cooler cookie got all of us going crazy! It's lemony with a touch of coconut pieces and topped off with white chocolate.
