We love this place and eat here every other weekend. Their tortillas are fresh, homemade, soft and fluffy. Their salsa is amazing, spicy, and flavorful. Their food is consistently good. Of the 50 or 60 times we've eaten there i have only had one (1) bad encounter and iit was probably because I was sick and nothing would have made me happy. Excellent service too!! Menudo was okay...decent. Flour tortillas are made fresh; however, the corn tortillas with my menudo were not homemade. The drive-thru seemed popular, maybe burritos are their forte? It's in the name. I'll try their burritos next time! read more

This is my forest time trying burrito King. The prices aren't super bad, however they are small burritos. Chicken fajita was okay. I also ordered 2 ground beef, potato and cheese. I'm sure they charged extra for cheese which I really didn't see any, it was also way salty. I had to give mine away it was just way too much salt. They were busy but not too long of a wait. Staff was nice. Salsa was very good. I will give them o e more try before totally writing them off because the tortillas were very good. read more

Lived up to the hype. Tortillas taste like they were handmade by God's special tortilla maker. The drive thru line was long, but they were cranking through it. We went inside, the staff was friendly and quick. Had a couple breakfast burritos, got out of there for under $20. read more

I give them a one star because when I went there was only 1 person in line in front of me and one waiting for theirs. The drive had 3 cars in the when I ordered. I waited 15 minutes for 1 burrito. The lady in front of me hadn't got hers either(she was still waiting for hers). I told them to cancel my burrito because I had to get to work. The waitress yelled cancel that burrito I don't know what she had. They didn't even offer my money back. It wasn't worth the fight to get the money back. I walked out. I will not be going back again. Nope. A restaurant doesn't get to hand you a menu and then change the prices when you go to pay. I ordered 4 asada tacos with no sides. The menu says it's supposed to be $6.49 and i get to check out and it's almost $12! HOW??? Then they argued with me and told me it's too expensive to change the menus. This is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant on "Q" Street. I love ordering the beef fajita quesadillas because of the quality and quantity for what you pay for. The food is always hot (temperature) when it comes to the table and delicious. The chips however could use a little help. They tasted a little stale on this trip. After seeing this place and it being so close I finally decided to check it out. I actually drove through one day but they did not have bean and cheese burritos on the list so I opted out. On this Sunday trip I went in and was ready for some Tex-Mex. To my surprise, this place was a little more Mexican than Texican. I passed on the 4 taco special and the torta special. After reviewing the seemingly endless list of burritos. Nothing on there really seemed appealing at the time so I decided to look at what was available on the plate side. Chile rellenos caught my eye so I decided on that. I paid for my food at the order window and took a seat and looked around at everyone else's plates. All of the meat plates seemed huge! I noticed that chips and salsa were a buck fifty extra (wth?!) but a nice little mexicano waiter finally came around and brought me a free basket of chips followed by a bowl of salsa. The chips were white corn and crispy; kinda reminiscent of white corn Santitas with some season salt. (I've seen these chips elsewhere around town.) I was munching on some chips when I saw a container with some horchata in it. Luckily the waiter was slow with the drinks and I swapped a Fanta Red for horchata. Good trade! After slowly watching everyone else's plates come out and finally seeing the people who where in front of me get their food, I knew I was next. My chile relleno finally came out. That's right, one lonely looking chile relleno on a giant plate next to a serving spoonful of rice and beans with lettuce and tomato and an eighth of an avocado. I was expecting at least two chile rellenos, at least thats what I think would come come on a plate dubbed chile rellenos. Maybe on the price board it said chile relleno but on the menu it says rellenos. I dug into the beans and they had little to no salt. By mixing them with the rice, I guess the hunger kicked in and it tasted decent. The chile was cooked right, with no sauce except hunger but did not have any meat in it. I don't know why I was expecting meat, guess I'm just getting used to being back in Texas where pretty much everything is supposed to be stuffed with meat. The chile was tasty and the cheese was nice and melty. Wrapped up in a flour tortilla with some rice and beans it went down pretty good. The meal was not very filling for the roughneck and farmhand appetite. I noticed that they had capirotada for dessert as a "Lenten" Special, along with Sopa de camarones, catfish nuggets, and hamburgers, yes hamburgers, guess you can eat those during Lent in their religion. The capirotada was good although it seemed a little put together quickly and tasted like a cross between tres leches cake and cinnamon toast. I thought the white shreds on top were cheese, but they ended up being coconut. I guess grandma's old concoction of old bread, raisins and cheese was out and this new stuff is in. I was expecting grandma's old mess. All in all it was an ok experience. I'll probably return for a burrito when I am in a no cooking during the week mode. We have visited this place many times. The food is not bad, but the service is absolutely awful. We have left several times without being greeted or thanked for our business. The owner has been outright rude.Wait time in the drive thru is outrageous! Have been in line for 30 minutes before, but no way to back up and leave! We go back because it's convenient, and decent food. Order today for pickup was completely incorrect. We own a business nearby and were unable to go back to pick up the correct food. Called and asked for a refund on my card. "We don't give refunds, only credit" was the response I got. This will be the last time we eat there. Too bad, they have a great location and pretty decent food. They are completely lacking in customer service, or else this place would shine. read more

I've been twice, Both times I had horrible experiences. The first time, we sat down (like the sign said to do) we waited about 20mins to get waited on (because the waitresses kept skiping over our table). We finally ordered food and another 20mins later when our orders came out the plates were wrong (I understand, people make mistakes) When we told her it was wrong. Our waitress nodded her head and went to the back and brought another employee to pretty much take our order all over again (because evidently she didn't understand english... wth?) You can understand how frustrated we were. The second time we went, (i donk know why we went a second time) the waitress again didn't speak English and only seemed to understand a little. There was only our table of six and another table where a couple was sitting. The waitress was super slow, the entire time we were there she check on us twice maybe 3 times, gave us 1 small basket of chips, and was in the back eating a burrito near the drink station (gross). And then we got our check we realized they charged us a gratuity fee of at least 15%. Which was way too much, concidering our waitress was horrible. 9% probably (because that's what you should tip) but definitely not 15%. read more
