This morning I had a hankering for a shredded chicken burrito, yes I know it's kind of an odd craving to have at 8 in the morning, but what I can I say - this woman craves protein! Since I am not a morning person I plopped on my couch and perused DoorDash, I was so pleasantly surprised when I found Burrito Factory, a Mexican joint that serves exactly what I was looking for open and at an affordable price for the burrito I have been dreaming about. They were quick to accept my order. It took about an hour or so to get to my home on the otherside of town, but that is no big deal. The burrito arrived as anticipated and still warm! The first bite is excellent, I can taste the warmth of the Green Chile Salsa accompanied by a delicate flour tortilla. The pinto beans and rice are cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The shredded chicken is exactly as I had hoped, flavorful and shredded. Based on my pleasant experience with delivery, I hope to check this place out in person some day soon! read more

Delicious chorizo breakfast burrito with friendly workers! I liked that there were multiple options for salsas and for what you could include in your burrito. read more

Food is awesome and service is amazing. Easy to get to, on the corner and can get more than just fresh food!

Good food, good prices, and service was fast and friendly. It's in a gas station so the ambiance is a little crowded and fast paced.

These breakfast burritos are the yummiest! We live on the opposite side of town, but whenever we head to the east side of town or the Valley, we pick up a burrito. Husband loves the hot link and I get the reindeer sausage. I've also had the regular sausage and it's ok. Love the option to order online and pick up. But be sure to give it some time, especially on the weekend. They are BUSY!! read more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! I seen this place advertised on DoorDash and they did a very good job at making the photos look good I was fooled. I NEVER KNEW THIS PLACE WAS IN A GAS STATION I WOULDVE NEVER ORDERED!!! When I got the order it was absolutely terrible and I was wondering, hmmm how did they get this chicken brown? seasonings? until I read the reviews and noticed it was from a gas station. I realized it's more than likely they used left over chicken. My food was terribly cold when it arrived, also very soggy but I didn't have a choice so I ate a little more than half of it. read more

Got a burrito with chorizo, it was decent. Probably better than what you'd expect for being in a gas station.

Wish I had read the previous reviews before ordering. My food took 2 hours to be delivered (on a Monday morning) and arrived cold. The cheese wasn't melted (so maybe it was never warm in the first place?), potatoes weren't cooked, the bacon was almost raw, the steak was not seasoned, etc. Just straight up not good :( I feel bad leaving this review since it is one of my first negative reviews ever but it had to be done. read more

They get the award for most underwhelming burrito I've ever eaten. Thanks for the memories BF lol. Bit into this thing and was baffled. How is the cheese not melted? Hmmmm. That could only happen because the rest of the food was cold. So, basically it was hardly warm burrito at best. Strange. It also didn't have any potatoes in it as advertised. For the price, this thing should be hot and loaded. Nickel and dime for hot sauce. I wouldnt go back. read more

This place changed there name, I can't find it on yelp but goes by Cinco de mayo now. Aweful, burrito was soggy all the ingredients on the outside and doesn't state in the menu. On top of that they offered to fix it. The solution was wrapping the already soggy one in another tortilla. I got a beverage that was poorly made and have plastic inside that I almost swallowed all for 40 bucks. Will not return read more

I want to love this place but darn it is slow. It seems They prefer door dash customers before people who actually want take the time to drive here, order, wait over a half hour for a breakfast burrito without any communication. But- alas, even though slow it was delicious! read more

They are quality burritos. I order my breakfast burrito. Get it deep fried. And I've never.... In 12 visits, have been disappointed. read more

I love burrito factory. obviously I was a little skeptical because it's in a gas station, but i've never had a bad experience with them & I get it quite often. they're always very nice & have good service. the burritos are pretty good, but I do think they've gotten smaller. read more

Got the steak breakfast burrito and it was amazing. Service is decently fast. You wouldn't expect it to be good because it's in a gas station but it's one of the best breakfast burritos I've had ! read more

Best burrito place for the price in Anchorage I have been going there for years knowing The Burrito Factory will not disappoint.

Tasty beef burrito. Liked the fact you can get a small one. Still had leftovers for dinner.

Just tried this place for the first time. I'd always been a bit weirded out by the idea of a burrito place in a gas station. I was up early this morning around 6am and asked Yelp what places were open at that time and Burrito Factory popped up. So I checked out their website. Yes, they have a website. It's a surprisingly-great one. I didn't get a breakfast burrito then, but waited for a late lunch. It's not far from me, so after a short drive I was there picking up my pre-paid burrito - no muss, no fuss, no wait (aside from wearing a mask to go inside). It was a very tasty reindeer breakfast burrito with pico de gallo and onions added. Their breakfast burritos are available all day. Yum. Aside from that, my only complaint was getting back on Boniface. Traffic was heavy and visibility was blocked by a big temporary sign - possibly due to Northern Lights being closed. read more

YUM. I can't believe I'm just now trying this place. A friend recommended the breakfast burritos and I'm so glad she did. I ordered the churrizo breakfast burrito online and it took less than 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly. The burrito was delicious. They even put the salsa and sour cream INSIDE the burrito, versus having to dip in tiny cups. Game changer. I am definitely going back to try the others! read more

Burrito Factory - Breakfast burrito (chorizo) baked - Mexican Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

Unfortunate. I used to recommend this place to everyone and was a loyal customer that came here frequently. However, I wouldn't recommend anymore. We were the only one in there, and the guy taking orders just ignored us for 5 minutes and just kept accepting to go orders even though we were there first. He finally acknowledged us, barely and stated just so you know it is a 25-30 minute wait. I'm beyond shocked that even though we were there before those orders came in that they prioritized them first. His attitude was terrible and seemed non present. Their burritos are good but at the end of the day, you can make those same burritos at home. They just lost a number 1 fan and customer. I will never go back or recommend this place now. read more

Hidden gem - great team, and their attention to detail/customization on orders is admirable - they let you pick it all, get it right, and if they're not sure they follow up and ask - and somehow they are still super fast, tasty, and consistent! So glad they are an option on the east side - but hard to beat in all of Anchorage regardless. read more

This is in a gas station, I tried it anyway and the chorizo burrito was awful. It took forever too

The best (and biggest!) Burritos in town! I thought to myself "gas station burritos? Seems sketch", but boy oh boy was I dead wrong! I get breakfast burritos there at least once a week now. Fast and friendly service and fantastic food keeps me coming back! read more

Online order of a burrito bowl (no tortilla) was a let down. Selected multiple "extra" items including multiple meats and eggs and it looked like there was less material than two burritos but still had the price of $31.00!!!! Not worth ordering online..... read more

Take this review with a grain of salt. Granted, I did order this off of Door Dash but I ordered a breakfast Burrito and scheduled to pick it up at 1 PM. The restaurant confirmed my order, and charged my card but when I arrived at 1 PM to pick it up, they told me that they had no record of my order. After that, they ignored me, and it took me saying "Excuse me" to someone in line and stepping right up to the register to get them to acknowledge that I was there. I showed them the transaction, I showed them the message that said that Burrito Factory confirmed my order and they just said that it was a door dash issue and that in order to have it resolved I would have to contact door dash. Then they told me that I was holding up the line and that I would have to move out of the way. Sadly, this is the way that they are there. They cater to police, fire, EMT and the military and if you are not part of those organizations, they don't treat you nice. I kept giving them my service because it's convenient, and I enjoy a good breakfast burrito, but after this time, I'll go other places. I know that they are not going to hurt because one guy decided not to go there, but buyer beware and if you do decide to go, relegate the time and go in person because you may not get your food otherwise. read more

My food was just fine. Problem is their service and their attitudes towards their customers, I simply asked for no jalapeños and the lady repeated it back to me,my order. Just for her not put it down and they put them on and I said "oh I'm sorry I asked for no jalapeños" and there's a man who works there and he kept saying "wow who asks for no jalapeños?" It wasn't what he said it's how he said it. Things like this has happened multiple times when I've went and it's sad cuz I like eating there. Do better! It's not hard to be nice read more

Such a peculiar spot for a burrito place so I was skeptical of trying but oh my gosh this place is awesome

I stopped for gas and was hungry. I was like WTF?! A Mexican Burrito restaurant in a Chevron. Really?!? I was like okay ... let me see if the wife, called her at work and said you want a early brunch - kinda before lunch lunch? "Sure" she said, I'll pick up something. I did and it was very good. I asked for very spicy, and it was a little on the mild/spicy side. It was not my spice liking. I could of had a bottle of Tabasco to add more and the acid would have made it HUGE! So bring a bottle of Crystal Lousiana or Tabasco or any other fire hot inferno and you will be Happy Happy !!! A little tweak and this place would be gold! read more

Oh my God, Burrito Factory was certainly spectacular. Awesome menu. Every menu item that we ordered was extra fresh and yummy. The service was excellent. They were fast, efficient, and got everything right. Burrito Factory: Super happy. read more

Food was great. Didn't get a chance for breakfast, so I had breakfast for lunch. Was browsing for their menu and realized you could order online...that was simple and awesome! Had the bacon, potatoe, cheese burrito. Great flavor and delicious. Coworker had the The Matador burrito and raved about it. Needless to say, this is one of those "trust me, you HAVE to eat there", kind of places. read more

Burrito Factory - The Matador burrito with rice and beans - Mexican Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

This place doesn't deserve one star , service is long , burritos had no taste or flavor whatsoever. Disorganized staff , I counted 13 ticket orders that weren't being filled . Waited 45 minutes for two burritos. One Chevron staff member wore a face mask below his mouth , only covering his chin , breathing with his mouth wide open . That place is a Petrie dish for Covid -19 ! Never going there again ! read more

We waited 45 minutes for two burritos, very unorganized staff behind the counter. They have no plexiglass in place anywhere in the building and there were at least 10 people standing around waiting for their orders. The burritos had no distinguishing flavor, waste of time and money here. read more

Order while you gas up! We order 20 minutes before we head out the door to go skiing and snowmachining. We stop by, pick it up and eat in the car. It is basically build a burrito, from basic sausage, chorizo, reindeer( from mekoryuk island) german sausage, smoked sausage, hotlink, etc... fresh cheese, fresh real sour cream, hot and ready to go. if you want it extra hot, they have a micro wave, but I've never needed to use it. Fast, and goey, and fresh. what more could you ask for? fyi ( i've only eaten breakfast burrito's there), maybe.....50 times plus+++ fyi, these employees used to work in eagle river at the original location, I used to drive out there just to get them, what does that say? Say hi to louis, older guy, has a great smile! read more

Love the burrito factory. I miss their Eagle River location. This restaurant is inside the gas station and it only has two tables. But you can Ofer your burrito on their app and pick it up. They don't have a drive through or delivery. The burritos are cooked to order with fast and friendly service. It's a great stop and go lunch option in East Anchorage. Ah, burritos! read more

Great breakfast burritos, service is a little slow but you can order online and go pick it up saves time, deliver is also an option.

Ok so a burrito place in a gas station is odd, right? BUT it's so darn good. They cook everything fresh and the portions are A+. It's a super chill vibe with two tables inside the gas station. The station itself is really clean for a gas station and I think most of the people in there were there for a burrito. This is one of my favorite places in Anchorage and the best burrito I've had in a while. Highly recommend their fajita burrito. I tend to go veggie heavy with my 'ritos and this hit the spot. read more

Don't let the location of this restaurant get the best of you. Service, staff, and food were excellent! They serve a keto box which is the reason my husband and I decided to go here. Ok, yes, it's in a gas station. Guess what folks? We have healthy codes in place all food service providers have to abide by. Being in a gas station doesn't make them less sanitary. Prices are very reasonable for portion sizes. Ingredients are fresh and everything can be made to order. I just love that I can order online and they have it ready so I can pick up on my way to work. In and out. It's very convenient. Staff is always friendly. Best breakfast burritos in town. A hidden gem for sure! read more

My husband and I were craving a good burrito and found this place on yelp. We drove here and were a little lost until we realized it was in the gas station.
