Called this morning due to a severe bug problem. No call back. Called again (only because no other pest control has humans to talk to!). Spoke with a guy for an hour, he got me set up on a service call for tomorrow, called me back at 5:00 saying he cancelled the order and I needed to go somewhere else. Seriously! With his vast two months worth of experience, and consulting his Supervisor, who knew exactly what needed to be done, this was the best they could do, no referral, no help, nothing. read more

Giving 1 Star because I never got the Opportunity to try them. I hear the Add on Arizona Sports 98.7 everyday. After discovering a Rodent problem in my Shed, they were the first company I thought of. I called their Customer Service to set up an appointment and get pricing (I didn't get either). The Rep informed me the Tech in my area was busy and took down my number for them to call me back. I never heard from them again! Wow, they basically just told a New client, either "We're too busy for you" or "we forgot about you". Of course I found another company that has taken care of me. Michael (route 56) comes and sprays my house every month. He is extremely nice and listens to all my concerns. He knows me now so well after years of service he asks about my family. I missed my appointment last month and so he sprayed outside for me. My appointment for this month wasn't until Tuesday (5 days away) but my son and I had both been bit by something and we had seen 3 scorpions (one dead, one half dead). Have used Burns exclusively for almost 5 years. They got rid of a super annoying ant problem I had and I rarely see any other types of big, when I do, they are already dead! I really don't know how this company is still in business. they had multiple accounts set up for my home. then didn't show up because they said I owed money but were looking at the wrong account, never made it good once they pulled their head out of their a$$es when they realized their own mistake. I even forwarded them an email that confirmed the mistakes and shockingly enough never got a call back. The bottom line is I paid for 12 months worth of service and I got 10. so I feel ripped off. So I called and was past around from rep to rep. I scheduled an appointment with a man named Junior. They were suppose to come to my house today between 2-4 O' Clock. After 4:00 O'clock, we had no Burn's rep come to our home. I called asked about when they were coming and was told there was no appointment set. Then I was put on hold so this person could go talk to " Junior"... I waited and waited on hold. Eventually I just gave up and hung up the phone. It's safe to say I'll be calling another provider. 2nd time I've used Burns, and again it was done on time, at price quoted, and done right the first time (two unrelated jobs). We got termites after our neighbor chased them out. Lance was great, took the time to explain everything and stay my fears. For all the holes they had to drill, they did a great job putting everything back and and covering them up. The pest company did a great job treating our apartment and helping us get rid of the bed bugs. The inspector Rodni and the work dog Rusty did a very thorough job looking for the bugs and explained how to get rid of them and how to look for them very well. The treater also did a very good job going above and beyond to make sure and treat every possible place they could be. For example he treated each of the shoes in the room the bugs were located. When we had to get rid of our bedside dressers Rodni explained why how they were infested and showed me the bug eggs and how they could get past the porous backing of the furniture and infest it. I would recommend this company to anyone as long as you do the work you will get rid of the bugs. read more

I called Burns to help with termite issues. My initial treatment was at the end of 2015. Unfortunately the little buggars decided to make another run at my house. Burns was great, sent a technician out for a re-treat. David called and arrived precisely as stated, David was extremely friendly and very attentive to the situation. David listened to me as I explained the issues and he then explained everything he was going to do to treat the affected areas. David was very friendly and respectful, he cleaned up the mess and left no sign that he was there. Although the bugs came back, that's just life, Burns responded and sent David who could not have provided any better customer service. Burns is OK if you do not mind them broadcast spraying Temprid in your kitchen cabinets. Which by the way is illegal. Temprid can only be used as a crack and crevice spray. I have seen them do this. As for spraying the block wall thinking that does anything in the summer it does not. By the time the hose is rolled back up the chemical has already lost it's ability to do anything. Burns Pest is THE worst in regards to communication. We were told they would call to let us know when they were going to show up and never did. Unfortunately my boyfriend didn't tell me that he didn't want to do business with them so I let the tech on our property to get rid of bees. She scheduled a re-check for 3 days later and I asked that she spray for additional bugs that were creeping in because of the heat. We set a 3PM appt. 3 days later 30 minutes after the appointment I hadn't heard anything from the the tech. Only having the company's number I call it and they have no idea what their tech's schedule is. They can call and see if she's in the area...whatever. This is an update to my review. Initially I had it at 1 star, which was deserved by the level of communication. I've amended it to 3 stars since Burns Pest did in fact refund my money in full without me asking (but I did complain). This company is terrible. They water down the main chemical they use, which causes it to be less effective, meaning they have to come back every month. Also, I have witnessed them pull into an apartment complex, Park their vehicle, go to the office, then go back and sit in the truck for an hour or more. this place has been to my apartment, i'm going to say, over 10 times since i moved in back on the 13th of october. as soon as we signed the lease and went to move things into our apartment, we noticed we had a roach problem. i moved here from pennsylvania, so maybe i'm not understanding the protocol for roaches (it's more of a stink bug problem in pennsylvania), but Burns comes here often and we STILL have the problem. the apartment has been fogged several times and they've used some kind of spray. we even have sticky traps, in which are always full. we're super clean; i literally vacuum and mop at least two times a day. i don't understand how this problem has not been taken care of. read more

This company is responsible for bug spraying our apartments and has been doing so for years. Our complex is infested with roaches and the infestation has NEVER went away. This company is obviously a scam. They must be spraying sugar water! We saw roaches since the day after they sprayed and none died. Do yourself a favor and find a legitimate exterminating company because this one isn't it! We shouldn't have to live in an infested apartment due to these peoples failure year after year and day after day. I'm incredibly disappointed. I'm a real estate investor who's used Burns before for my private residence. Because of familiarity, I opted to give them first whack at a home we're building additions to. For an area of roughly 1,000 sq ft (which the agent insisted was 2,000), we were quoted $1,100 for termite pre-treatment. We were told that the entire structure, existing included, needed to be treated in order to receive an inspection sticker that city inspectors would need to see. After calling not 1, not 2, but THREE other licensed treatment companies who were all WAY less pricey, we're paying a third of the Burns quote and ALL 3 were emphatic that although advisable, treating the entire slab wasn't a requirement for the sticker. And they were able to quote over the phone vs. Buns requiring a meeting to examine so they could push the up-sell. Quote - $280. $450 with pre-existing structure. And warrantied. It's bug poison, not rocket science. Terrible. read more

In an age when customer service is painfully absent, I couldn't be more pleased and whole heartedly endorse Phoenix Burns Pest Elimination. Not because they're perfect, but because they truly care about your experience and satisfaction. We've been customers for years, across multiple properties, never had an issue until this month. Thanksgiving week, we were scheduled for a repeat termite treatment due to persistent termites and a pesky mud tube hanging in our living room. For whatever reason, our tech missed his scheduled window. When we were unable to stay for him to arrive late, he told us we would have to call to reschedule. I did- the office was closed. I called the next morning at 0630 and spoke to a very polite woman (Shannon?) that apologized profusely, but regretted to inform me the next available appointment would be Friday. That was unacceptable considering it wasn't our error, we had taken time off work and would now have to take another, AND we were hosting guests for the holidays and planning on 18 visitors for Thanksgiving. While she was gracious, the fact was she was overbooked and there was nothing we could do. I was livid. I went to the website and sent an email about the situation. By 0715, Mike called from the office, apologized again, listened to my venting, validated my frustration, and said they would be able to send a technician this morning. The tech, Antonio arrived by 1000, and did a fantastic job of explaining our issue and his plan, then completed the work. Before Antonio left, Jerry from the office called to confirm Antonio had arrived, extended his apologies, and thanked me for the opportunity to make things right. I also want to give a thumbs up to Darren G that completed our warranty inspection, followed up with an email and his contact information. The entire team handled an irritated, dissatisfied customer with speed and sensitivity... we all make mistakes, but it's rare to see such a robust response and a true desire to make things right. Are you totally down with having unqualified sales people come out and sell you what you don't need then Burns is the place for you. All this company cares about is their bottom line, not the customer's needs. They are incapable of locating the true source of termites and will sell you expensive services that aren't needed. This results in the repeat occurrence of termites and having to continue to pay for warranty extensions since they don't treat the problem, they mask it. The techs work hard for what little they are paid only to do while Burns overbills, underdelivers, and does things illegally.
