The cashier later gave me store credit in 2 seconds. So... why is your staff giving customers false info??) 2 Stood in a 30-minute return line because only two registers were open. 3 Fitting room employee? Rude, short, and definitely not customer-friendly. 4 Went to check out. Another 35 minutes in line. Watched an employee organize shopping bags for TEN minutes before hopping on a register while 30+ people stood there fuming. Yes, I took a picture. This place is chaos: disorganized, understaffed, poor selection of merchandise and apparently allergic to customer service. Honestly felt like they were daring people to never come back. The store has good merchandise, but the checkout situation is terrible. The line was far longer than what's reasonable, with only one or two registers open. I ended up putting my cart back and leaving--twice--because people's time is valuable. I went to Marshalls instead to do my shopping. read more

Combined Properties owns extremely valuable areas. Looking up the economic demographic data on Sugarland Crossing Mall, there's ridiculous money in this part of Loudoun County. Have been here several times, and wonder "is the whole area not working today?" This is a common sentiment, as this shopping center is always busy. By all means please drive reasonably coming in and out of here off of Rt 7, and bring your patience as finding a parking spot can be challenging. There's nothing exciting about this center, as northern Virginia suburbs have lots of these. Yet there is a Lidl! That makes this guy happy. The Lidl here is very nice. I wish I could say the same about Burlington. The one here is pretty good, but for us taller men, items can be hard to find. There's a JoAnn Fabrics that doesn't intrigue me, and the Chipotle works for a quick meal. Chik Fil A's drive thru is amazing. This has some alright shops, but it's just another strip mall to me. It's not an eyesore or anything like that. For those who love to shop, this could work out well for you. read more

On a recent Sunday I went to Burlington to pick up summer shorts for an upcoming trip. Good news, still great selection at great prices. Bad news, eveyone thought the same and I faced the longest line of over 200 people I have ever seen. Took 30 minutes and if there are 2 of you, one is in line and the other can keep shopping. But keep masks on as its brutal with the crowding. Surprised there was no limit of people entering. But great pricing. read more

Finally, A Burlington store that I like. Decent parking lot, no crazy drivers. The store is clean and organized for the most part. I found a lot of nice housewares at a bargain. You'll definitely find a lot of good deals vs Homegoods. Some departments are a little messy. Checking out is a nightmare on the weekends. One bad note, is the didn't have wrapping paper for fragile items. I had to request for my glass items to be 3x bagged and wrapped. On the floor, there was no help in site. I guess they put all their employees at the registers to get us out faster. I'll definitely return despite the distance. They have a lot more of items here than their Maryland stores. read more

We find the best prices for handbags, shoes, and clothes. Men's shirts are good. Women's Dresses used to be good now we need to dig and we hardly find anything good. Cashier Diego was very patient while billing. He was polite and patient even though it took lots of time for the return transaction. He is good at handling the issue patently and making customers happy. read more

Over the past 2 visits it's been disappointing. The variety of clothing after expansion seems to have lessened. The long lines are just terrible. The lines run till behind the store. I waited in line for 1 hr 30 mins each time I have been here over the 2 times. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon and the other visit was on Friday at 7pm. They only have 2-3 counters open and the counters are not separated for returns and purchases. You really need a lot of patience to wait in line that long. read more

No, 100 times no! I normally do not mind Burlington Coat Factory and thought I was lucky to find one on the way to the airport. Unfortunately this Burlington Coat Factory is awful. The bathrooms were an absolute nightmare and I almost left to go elsewhere. The entire store is disorganized, items are on the floor- and I saw employee pick up a jacket and throw it over the top of the rack instead of hanging it on a hanger. While navigating throughout the store I noticed several spills, clothing in the wrong section, and sections marked clearance that had no sales. I was probably only inside for about 10 minutes before feeling so gross that I needed to leave. If I could read this establishment zero stars I would. Management definitely needs to get a cleaning schedule for the bathrooms and check them regularly. There should also be someone in charge of making sure the store is kept tidy. I know this is possible because every other Burlington Coat Factory I have visited has been fine. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you can. read more

Hunt Valley location. found a few dress slacks went to try them on but the dressing room was "closed" told by the store manager I can buy them all and try them on at home and return in 30'days. never once looked up from what she was doing. nope. now on top of sorting hangers at the check out line you can put these garments back on the rack. Standing here in a line that reaches to turn other side of the aisle with 3 cashiers available. Why? It's ridiculous that Burlington can't keep any employees or pay a decent wage for them to even work there. There should be at least 5-6 cashiers available to keep the line moving. You got one cashiers who is as slow as molasses, whose been with the same customer for at least 10 minutes over cloths. The other cashier hasn't properly been trained and needs help with transactions. There should be a seasoned associate at the front at all times to help the others if needed and when the line is this long, the associates in the back are to be called to the front to assist. Not one call for help at all. Maybe there needs to be self checkout here, because it's obvious this store can not keep anyone to assist with running it. read more

Lots of damaged items. Check what you want to buy before you purchase. I did find a comforter set and a huge pot for boiling crabs. I also bought a few other misc items. Because the items were bulky and I couldn't carry them to my car I tried to wheel the cart out. The carts have wheel locks on them and I couldn't get it out the door. I had to make two trips to get my purchase to the car. read more

This place has ALOT of stuff and good finds. Great prices and great selection. The only thing is that the line to check out is out of this world RIDICULOUS! I literally stood in line for 30 minutes- not exaggerating! I don't know why they can't hire anyone or keep staff or what. I know it's discounted items and I don't mind standing in line, but it's almost not worth it. I feel bad for the staff members. They seem to try their best. It's kinda annoying seeing so many staff members bringing stuff out from the back instead of helping out the front. I'm sure it's not their fault and that's just their job assignment..Maybe they should offer some hiring incentive or pay people more or train people on the register. Maybe corporate can come in and help..Something! Other than that, I love Burlington. read more

This Burlington is horrible everything was a mess. The clearance section shelves were so unorganized. They just threw the items on the shelves. I asked a sales associate if a set of 4 saucers marked down for $2.99 were marked correctly because the plastic that held them together was broken. She said it's the right price and all 4 saucers are included in the price. I get to the register she's looking all funny I told her the sales associate in the clearance section said all 4 saucers included she ignores me and ask an associate beside her. I tell her to call the associate in the clearance section and ask her. She continues to ask the associate beside her and the associate tells her that's correct. She's still looking crazy wth she think I me and two sale associates are lying. Than my mom comes up and she knows her so she drops it. Customer service is horrible, we were in line for 20 minutes. And the store is a nasty mess including the bathrooms. read more

This location is pretty bad compared to the Fairfax one, but it's right by my house so oh well. I don't love the way the clothes are laid out. I'm not exactly sure how they should do it though, because that inventory must be insane to deal with, but if you come to do some serious shopping here you better come as soon as they open (the lines pile up! I've found Sunday morning is best while everyone is at church) and you better have a large chunk of time to dedicate to hunting...because that's all shopping at Burlington is, one big massive hunt. It's just racks and racks of randomly placed merch and barely organized in a sensible way. Pay VERY close attention to the labels sewn into the actual clothes, because more often than not I've found their tags have incorrect sizes printed (ex: a tag will say M but it's actually a L) and inspect everything you buy because its common for their clothes to be ripped or stained. I don't know what the deal is with this location specifically but their dressing rooms are constantly changing. The latest change, they have put them to the very far right where the shoes are, and its impossible to leave your cart there without it being in someones way or in the middle of a random aisle. The lighting is atrocious, and they should read into the science of lighting especially for dressing rooms. If a person is seeing themselves in the most unflattering light possible, they won't buy it because they think they look bad when they might not actually look that bad in regular lighting. And I don't know why, but there seems to exist some kind of Burlington curse where there's always multiple screaming kids. ALWAYS. read more

This location is MASSIVE. I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in and my husband quickly turned pale white once he saw how large this place was and a short shopping trip turned into a larger one. Oops! In the end he was thoroughly as impressed. They had EVERYTHING we were looking for. I have been looking for window treatments since June! After searching for something very specific every where online and other retail stores in the area I couldn't find anything. Not only did I find exactly what I was looking for but since the items didn't have any price tags on them I was able to purchase 3 sets of curtains for under $50! Talk about shopgasm. We also found great home accent finds for more than fair prices and high end name brand boys clothing for $2-$5 a piece. I walked out of there a happy girl and for under $150 was able to furnish, accent and clothe my home and loves. Not sure how often I will be going here since it's a little out of the way. But it's a definitely stop you need to make on your way to the outlets. read more

He refuse to return an product which completely meets the requirements of return policy. I was able to successfully return the same product to Fairfax location where no question was asked during return. He also gives you an attitude "Customer is always WRONG". Already filed an complain to corporate. The company must be sucks to employ such a personality like him. Think of a different occupation Mr. Lenwood. Maybe McDonald? Never mind they even have better employee then you. The store is also a mess all the time and most of the Bi-Lingual cashier speak foreign language while they with the customer (who doesn't speak same language). Has a cheap look and feel and smells like a thrift store. The prices are low but the quantity of the clothes is pretty sub standard. I go there once in a blue moon,...rightfully so. I am sure they cater to some people but certainly not my cup of tea. read more

Burlington is great......this Burlington sucks. The line is always 20min long. Stuff is all over the place and looks like 5 year olds have run a muck and no one cares. 3 different occasions (hoping there would be someone to help) we came to get Perfume from the case and there is NO ONE to be found. There is never enough cashiers , don't ever think of asking for help or go with out a tag on you item because you will need to pop a tent to camp until they rummage through the chaos, that is their store. The staff is the worst of any establishment I've ever been too anywhere. They make you feel stupid and crazy for their lack of knowledge and costumer service. You have one job!!! Do it!!! When I can I drive miles to other Burlingtons. Corporate needs to flush the staff down the drain and fix this place up! read more

This store sold me a car seat that was open box and the car seat had not only been used, but was defective. It was missing a strap so it never would have worked to safely strap a child into it. We did not have a receipt so the store manager would not return our money or allow an exchange and refused to run our credit card to see how much we had paid for it. He had no mercy and said anything out of box is non-refundable. We didn't even get a discount and it was a defective product. I really thought the manager was going to help customers that bought a defective product. He clearly only cares about the bottom line and his store making money. I will never go back there again and I had already decided to switch shopping from babies r us to burlington to save money. I would rather pay more to work with a competent company, which doesn't sell defective products. Do not go to burlington coat factory and do not deal with management as they don't know what customer satisfaction is. very very poor quality, just like the defective products they sell. Awful - one of the longest lines I've ever seen in any establishment. I was there a bit after 12:00 noon on a Saturday and this Burlington had three check out registers open - easily 30 people in line. After awhile the person presumably with some authority added a new lady who turned out to be very inexperienced (we checked out with her). A little while later, the vigilant person in authority added another body, bringing the total to five checkers - while the line moved, it grew more than it moved. There were about 40 people behind me when I left. Awful - no consideration for the customers, and based on the reviews, not too worried about it. read more

I always find dress shirts here for work that fit great and are at a great price and dress pants as well. Can be a tad overwhelming at first because of the size of the store and the selection, but it's definitely worth spending 10-15 looking through things because you will eventually find something at a great price. read more

this location is always DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. like... really gross. floors always nasty, half the stuff isn't even on the right Hanger displaying the correct size, the "clearance racks" are always 3/4 filled with non clearance items. last time I went I had to remove TRASH out of 1 of 4 trash filled carts just to get a cart to use... dressing rooms are always filthy to the point where I don't wanna try things on. seriously, I like Burlington for the cheap prices and variety, but this particular location needs to clean the store up.... like really really bad read more
