I usually find great pieces when I shop at Burlington. I don't always go in looking for something specific, but I can usually walk out with good finds to compliment my wardrobe. Recently, I've picked up some cute accessories, reasonably priced workout tops and joggers, and a few dresses that I've gotten plenty of compliments on. The store itself isn't the most organized, and the lines can get pretty long, but I've always had good experiences with customer service--both at the fitting rooms and at checkout. All I can say is attitude. Major major attitude. I don't know what makes employees think it's ok to be disrespectful but apparently they think they can be! Located on the first floor of the Savannah Mall. To enter into the store customers must enter from the first floor parking locate closest to the Southwest Chatham Library. Burlington Coat Factory is an oldie but goodie in my opinion. The store has tons of name brands for a fraction of the price. The pitfall to this brand is the decline of the interior and consumers. The interior of this store is dismal and vacant. Half of the store is not in use, because the store seems to be downsizing in products. Many of the items in the store are scattered, yet the items seem to be in the generally facility. However, I still come to this store searching for home goods (i.e., kitchen decor, home decor, bedding, and bath decor) and workout clothing. The items are quality and lasting. Stop by as long as you have the time to search through the merchandise and as long as you aren't looking for an upscale shopping experience. Overall this store deserves a C+. The merchandise for home decor and women's workout clothes are quality and long lasting, the prices are phenomenal, and checkout is generally quick. Pitfalls, the store decoration is declining, half of the store is closed and blocked off by clothing racks. read more

This review is over a month old. FYI...Burlington has moved across from the Oglethorpe Mall and has a bigger and better selection of home goods and other things. I must say that I absolutely love this upgrade and change! Burlington has stepped up their game with stock and advanced itself with more choices. I literally stepped foot inside this store on March 6, 2020 which was days before the Covid-19 hysteria started. I am so grateful that I was able to buy several unexpected items that I didn't know I needed until I brought them home. I found a lovely wall art that coincidentally was an exact match to something I had purchased months prior and it all made sense once placed. Next, I found two beautiful crystal candle holders that have made me smile in appreciation every time I lay eyes upon it. This Savannah Burlington's store has set the precedent. Now, I need all the other stores to provide the same experience from now on. 1. Keep your merchandise stocked and neat. 2. Include pieces that are a little more higher end. 3. Provide more diverse art pieces that would appeal to other ethnic cultures too. Burlington in Savannah has made the grade. Way to go! read more

Decent sized discount store that has a little bit of everything. Sometimes you have to search and dig to discover good finds. The employees aren't overly friendly or helpful but they aren't rude either. I mainly come here for the prices. They have all sizes from kids, juniors, juniors plus, women's, plus size, men, & big and tall. They also have shoes, baby things, small selection of home decor and luggage. The main focus however seems to be clothes and accessories. read more

Sadly this company used to be a good one. It has laid of many employees. Cut back many hours of the few they have retained. The store in Savannah, Ga had many good employees, and management there at one time. Only a few good employees remain at all. I used to work for them. They had a REALLY good store manager who took a lot of pride in doing the best he could , and getting the store organized, and looking good. He took over when it was still in the rat hole known as the Savannah Mall, and actually had the store organized, and looking good. Burlington then finally got out of the rat hole Savannah Mall, and moved to the refurbished Toys R Us location. It started out good. Store looked good, and they had people working. Then they started with changes. They eliminated the Loss Prevention dept. Which then caused a big spike in shrink. Which for you consumers means your prices went UP. Then they cut payroll for the stores. Which caused stores to start looking like crap. The store manager at the Savannah, had enough of this among many other reasons, and he left. Good for him. The Savannah store I have seen a few times since he left, and it looks like crap to put it mildly. I went in there and shopped , but no more. I will not support a company that has treated employees like garbage, and keeps getting worse in how they treat their employees. People rip Wal Mart. But Burlington treats them MUCH worse. Truly sad. For your information the store manager that left has joined another company, and is in the process of improving their store greatly. I stopped in there, and while it was never a bad store. You can see he is making a BIG difference there. So if your wanting good products at a better price, Go elsewhere . Burlington has gone downhill BIG TIME. The lines were taking over an hour per customer when I have been in there recently. You can trust things will NOT get better at Burlington. read more

Went to purchase a few pieces of clothing and found the store had been changed. Women's was all the way to the front of the store, past the registers. Nowhere with the other clothing section. Poorly stocked, not fit for my grandmother. Mainly black colors. Need a new buyer. read more
